Hi everyone,
I've been searching to buy the Archos 101 online and have had a lot of trouble finding retailers that actually carry it at this point.
Amazon has one listed for $499 and they range from $400-500 on ebay.
Can anyone direct me to a site that is selling them at retail ($299)?

no, it can't be done ...
best bet is to keep am eye on the archos official site, when they get stock it'll go up on there.
Just found on archos fans that tiger direct is selling them right now.

But any way to but things in prespective, the gtab is currently regularly priced @ $329 (shipped, no taxes, brand new, 12 months waranty) @ buy.com.
And if I am to sell my gtab now, I would wait untill all the debate about NVIDIA dropping support for Harmony Tegra2 (i.e. gtab) past Foryo get resolved, unless you are willing to seriously mark it down.

I didn't know buy.com was selling it for 329. I should bring the price down to $300. Free shipping.

Most places are selling the G-Tab for $299. The max price for a used (or even open-box) should be $250.
I know there's no way I'd buy a used one for the same price I can get a brand spankin, untouched new one.

Amazon has them for $279 new . ( Woot is the Amazon seller) Seems that the woot auction caused a real domino effect for this tablet price wise. They are $299 at Circut City .they been going for $250 ish on Ebay now. 2 weeks ago they were $350.

I don't know what your situation is but seeing how new gTabs are being sold now for an average of $279 you may just need to suck it up and drop your price to be competitive. With the current market conditions you may find it a lot easier to unload yours for around $225.
Just something to think about.

I think you saw an earlier mistake by Amazon. Earlier they were claiming that the 3G/32Gb Flyer was cheaper by £120 than the RRP.
Amazon listed the RRP as the standard £599, and the new price as £559 (or something similar). Amazon have since corrected this, the new saving is £40.01, making the new price £559.98
However, I understand from other press that the 16Gb/Wifi only model has seen a price reduction to £400 from £480 at some UK retailers.

Best Buy UK had the 32GB 3G version for £479.99 the other day. Ordered mine, it arrived and its great! What a result! Unfortunately they have corrected their description now and are only selling the WiFi version for £479.99. This is still a good deal on Amazon though with £40 off.

So I was reading this article on this website and most comments say that's its too much for this tablet! I just got mine 2 days ago and paid $330 on Craigslist with accessories. Did I pay top much for a tablet that's supposedly 1 year old? Its a wifi 16GB btw.

I live in Canada and you payed nearly double what I payed But mine was also purchased from a friend. $330 is still a fairly good deal considering new it's $499+tax around here still.
I don't think its too much if its in a good condition. I paid over $550 for mine with tax when it first came out. I think $330 if fair price for samsung galaxy 10.1, if its in good condition.

Its in mint condition. Not a single hair scratch or anything I was debating for a whole week between this and the original Xoom. I saw the ad and didn't hesitate to make an offer and met the guy within 15 minutes. I was hoping for a xoom but none were up for sale at the time. The thing that threw me away from the xoom was the WEIGHT 1.6lbs is heavy for a tablet in my opinion.

I like my Galaxy tab way better then xoom. My friend has zoom and I think its bulky and ugly. I bought this tab over xoom cuz Its slim and sexy. Its even slimmer then my iPad 2. I haven't been using my iPad at all, since I bought this tablet. I think $330 for a mint condition tab is a good price.

Its a really gd deal bearing in mind here in the UK a tab is $499 or around £399 end of. You cant get it cheaper really anywhere else except ebay :L

Dang I would've made it rain first then paid! LoL ever since Craigslist I rarely buy new electronics. Like my Samsung Epic Touch for $300 back in November ( brand new) .
$330 is a really good price. I got my 16GB Verizon LTE model here at XDA for $315.
Got my Rogers 3G (faux-G) GTab on Kijijiii for 375$ in early december.. =)
That's a good price IMHO.
My first one (bought when it came out...32GB WiFi) I paid roughly $600 or so....after taxes.
My second one 16GB WiFi I paid $400 and some change...still a bit pricey but brand new.
My other 16GB WiFi I currently own I paid $330 on Amazon as it was refurbished.
So yes...I'd say you got a good deal.
I'm not holding high hopes for the Asus MeMo 7" but I do hope it does one thing...drive the quality tabs down in price. They're too expensive at the moment, but it's the price to pay to be bleeding edge in technology.
Well you just need to look at how much everyone is paying for them in the store.. Then tell us if you got a good deal lol. You could have spent almost $550 for one in the store, or $330 for the one you bought.. Seems pretty obvious to me
