What is the best ROM with Custom kernel for x10 mini pro - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

Hello, I would like to help me with the best custom ROM Kernel for x10 mini pro (I meet all the requirements) I'm looking for:
Make it smooth (That crash, as in the Stock ROM 2.1)
What keypad lights work well as in the Stock ROM
That the camera works perfectly, the photos are good and the video the audio is not delayed
Supporting swapp
That is stable and not constantly restart
That the battery lasts, it lasts as with the stock ROM, I was hard listening to music and browsing with wi-fi 12 hours
I do not use the ROM games exclusively for games as much as 2 games
I hope I can help recommending a ROM and a link to download
Thank you!

I used many ROMs, but this is the most stable and fastest ROM of all...the only problem is thet you must install fix for keybord lights --->http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1685378

Bro, are you serious? :/ I thought MiniCM7 was the most stable ROM out there... At least majority says so. I myself am on MiniCM7, but dying to try MiniCM9. Just keep backing off over and over again.
Ahh, what the hell! Will install MiniCM9 today.

CM9 is slow and laggy. If u want stay on custom kernel install first this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1201116
But I prefer CM7 for NaA kernel, its faster, more stable and battery drain is better

If you want to continue using stock ROM, I recommend the ArcMini NxT6
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1225668
But CM7 2.2.1 with nAa kernel is a lot better...

Just installed MiniCM9 and boy its too good!!! And very very very stable. Sure some things dont work, but i dont even want video on my phone, so what the hell
I was using MiniCM7 before, so would suggest you the same. Install MiniCM7, use it for a while, later on make a backup of that ROM, then try out ICS and other ROMS, that way you can always come back to MiniCM7.
CM7 works for majority ppl's daily usage. Any other ROM just depends on your preference on what YOU want out of your phone. Lol, thats just the way I see it its always safe to go with CM, so better if you have it as a backup... Just in case.

[Q] The best rom for my X10a

Hey Fellows,
I am a newbie here in XDA and Xperia X10. So I kindly ask for you guys, more experienced than me, which rom available here (there is tons at Development section) is better.. I mean reliable, stable, fast, smooth.. bla..bla bla.
As I said in the very beginning I am just a newbie here and I would really appreciate any constructive and useful suggestion.
Thanks,
B.H.

I'm now using Beta 4, waiting for trip's .54 version
CM 6.1.1-v3.2
I would suggest Free X10 Beta4,the downside is that the camcorder is working 100% yet.You can download Video Illusion as an alternative,Its a nice rom thats pretty smooth.
You do need to be the the this baseband to use it though.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=939812
That's a good question.. I am looking for the same.. maybe the one by Z.. that's a great rom. Fast and smooth so far. However the camera camcorder doesn't works properly for now.. may be some mod rom.. there is a couple here as I could see.
The new MIUI rom from Trip is awesome, you should try that!
I've tried several; the only one-so far with no issues (Camcorder, Market Battery etc. all smooth, stable and fast) is BitSnacker_2.1x10ROMv1.0

+1 if you want a fully functioning Camcorder
new firmware x10a 2.1.1.A.0.6
it here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=960598
try it
my suggestion (may souund boring) but keep the stock (SE) 2.1 update 1 with the latest updates
Pavi90 has a guide "how to speed up a stock x10" (something like that) i did it, everything works (i mean EVERYTHING) and its silky smooth, snappy, reliable and everything
it wont get 1000+ on quadrant, but it runs as good as i think i needs to, i would compare it to an iphones smoothness with these mods
2.2 beta 4.... Miui is ugly as sin imo. If you want your phone to look like an iphone why not get one? The rows of icons are so freakin bland...it's everything I dislike about iphone
hey mate, I'm also new here - all started when I decided to root my x10 and now i can't understand how I was able to use that phone before.
ROM, which I can actually recommend is kX10 R2B001 (I'm using it right now) - it's clean and works pretty smooth! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=913610
my advise u this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=949457
put be sure u have same Framwork version ok
I Love freeX10 beta4 if HD video rec is worked out then this would be the ultimate rom..
PS there is a ps1 emulator called FPse that only works on 2.2+Roms. But its near perfect and is the main reason i upgrade + flashplayer too
I've never had problems with the rom

You can give it a shot and post your comments.

If you play games a lot,CM7 is the best choice. However,if you focus on taking pictures or you require a better UI or you just choose it for daily use, then I would like to recommend the JAF ROM.
Donut hd 2.2.7 . Stable , fast, smooth , beautiful look and no bug/FC... and games also runs smooth on this rom.
Feralab JAF ROM. Best!!!!
What if I want to change my rom to something else that can
- be faster than my stock rooted 2.3.3 rom
-stable. Right now my phone sometimes hangs itself out of nowhere. Disturbing since this wasn't there before I rooted it.
-take brilliant 8Mp photos. I heard CM7 camera does work, but it isn't upto stock camera level (guys I waant this the most, next to fast n stable)
-apps work smooth without no.lag. and games to .

Write your opinion about wich ROM are you using?
What about AOKP? Xperia X10S? CM7, CM9? Jaf (Fera's) ROM? Debrand Engine? M&M's MIUI? Donut HD? Wich path to take now ???????

DiKeJ´s Dixperia 7, or wait 4 days and he will release Dixperia 8 - i cant wait for it, it will be awesome ROM ( like DX7)
try JAF/Fera for smooth butter like experience or MoKee v0.3 for lots of free ram plus amazing battery life
I also don't know which ROM to go for. I have tried Feras but never tried JAF - is it good? Like the look of the system menu with all the options on that ROM.
Whichever ROM I try though I always end up going back to WolfBreaks! Is JAF better?

FeraVolt's ICS is very far from sluggish and fps is uncapped as far as it can be, up to 32 in 3d and 38 in 2d, sound is amazing, no colour issues, working deepsleep, it's fast, stable, smooth, beautiful and awesome. But, like all custom ICS roms, still no camera. It's your choice of course, but i can highly recommend this one. I never tried JAF but read a lot of good and positive things on that rom too.
I've tried almost every rom & I can confidently say that imo Z's CM7ZMOD is the best, it has the perfect balance & combination between speed & smoothness, stability & customizability
Right now I'm using Achotjan's Stock Replacement Rom which is also pretty good, not as fast as CM7ZMOD & a few minor bugs but still greattt

Hey guys.
I am looking for a fast ROM witha fully working camera. Can you guys give me some advice?
I don´t care for sony apps like timescape, I think it slows the phone down.

Yes it is but not video recording which works never be fixed to tell you take truth(most likely) but the most stable and fast Rom is stock based donuthd. But dixperia is good too but choose one that fits you. I like both s-style and light because stock never boots on my phone and I'm not a premium so I don't have the gaming.

Thank you guys for your help. :good:
I am right now trying to install DiXperia 8 [Stable], but I have a problem. First I tried to install it with DoomKernel, but the ROM gets too slow. Then I tried to install it with the Kernel from the other versions of the ROM (Beutiful, S-Style and Fast), but when the phone boots the ROM every thing is in Landscape mode, and I can´t get it to portrait. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to use the phone's stock ROM, if yes how can I get it?
Thanks for your help again :good:

well
as far as i know
there are only 2 ics roms available
one is minicm9 by naa
and
the other one is arcmini ics
both are very good
but the volume is too high
if u want xperia style ics u should go for arcmini
if u want a normal ics u can go for mini cm9
and coming to the jb
well
there are 3-4 roms i guess
slim roms
sevenbean pro
minicm 10
and
jb (dnt know the rom's name)
in jb
u will find bugs like
screen will not wakeup sometimes
low sound quality (40 percent of gingerbread)
the video recorder lags
low ram bug
and dual touch bug
if u want it for daily use u can go for jb
and if u r looking for gaming

Absolutely correct what you just said. The only thing i didn't agree is about the volume being high on ics, i tested arc mini ics4 and then i tested a ginger rom and then the stock rom, they all had the same volume and quality, so that means that those ics roms are very good in sound volume and quality. However i must agree that gingeroms are the best, the most fast, most smooth, most stable roms that are available, so i don't advise you isko95 to try ics or jb roms if you want great performance and great quality, stick to ginger they are the best.
Best rom? Gingersony, then Ac Mini Nxt6, then Stark v3, then Digdin Rom 1.8. I just realised that prime hd is worse than those roms i mentioned.
If i help press thanks .
which android version is better between ics and jb, and why (which are the complete list of bugs)??
because i only use apps (facebook, instagram, etc.) and i don't play games, most of the time i listen to music and at least i want working basic things (soft and hard keyboard, camera, video, panorama, etc)
well
ics roms are only 2 of them
i suggest u to go for arcmini ics
and
about jb
go for slim roms

it's like i say, ics and jb roms are not ready for day to day use yet, very slow and if you want it faster by changing to above 600mhz max then you'll have more battery drain. You listen to music? then jb is not for you, buggy LOW sound. Ics has very good sound just like stock rom. The other apss and stuff are just bad in performance but i think they work. honestly, stay Ginger, it's the better choice if you want speed performance and quality.
press thanks if i helped .

Sure . The best for games battery etc is Arc Mini NXT 6, but i advise you to remove some apps from root explorer because some of them have force close. The second best is Gingersony v6, you just have to install a led fix and it's all good, and remove the youtube app that has force closes, this is the only rom that automatically saves the Effect Rendering Option, and good battery life and very stable and fast. Third place goes to Stark v3, only the walkman player doesn't work but has good battery life and good performance. I'm using Gingersony just because i don't like the colors of the sms app in Arc Mini Nxt 6 ( the best rom ) xD. I also advise for better battery and remain the performance: 480mhz max/19mhz min, compcache disabled, card cache 4096kb, disable boot animation and disable animation effects, reduce the brightness, use 2g networks and gsm.
If i helped you, press thanks .
