Kernel for ICS - HTC EVO 3D

Hi all.
I have installed the [ROM] [JUNE 30] [Evolver 3D v2.1]. I want to know if there is a kernel to a 1.5 ghz overclock or more. thanks
PD: Traducctor I'm using the google. Sorry.

I think HTC has to release the ICS source code first, so we can have custom kernels.
Just wait!

thanks for your answer. regards

No problem, just what I heard & read
just keep an eye on the GSM/CDMA Development section, You'll find all the kernels there as soon as it's released.

thank you very much

[Q] Is there going to be a CyanogenMod based on 2.3.3

When we were on 2.1 there were lots of CM roms. Is 2.6.29 kernel going to make problems for devs to implement a CM rom?
Yup it will be ..i think everyone is waitin for DoomLord's Kernel ... as soon as he develops it then.... its the Start everyone's waiting for !!
Hope u got a bit ..
Thank me if it did!!
The FreeXperia Project.
Z, J and B are developing the CM7.
FXP012 released now.

these brilliant guys need time.
Having 2.3.3 made no difference in FreeXperia. Hope new kernel appears soon. I prefer CM specially because of its great support for RTL languages.

If you want a custom rom with all functions like stock but much faster&smoother, then you should maybe try the rom from the thread in my signature until cm7 is ready fully functional. Only thing missing is wifi tethering in this rom.

Thanks Lucas for your suggestions. I've been on WB since day one and I'm very happy with WB. I just prefer CM7 thats all, and I'll be waiting for this forums great devs to implement in our device.
There are a lot already!
There are a lot of CM7 2.3.3+ already, the main problem is that until Kernel sources for GB is released camera and other stuff won't work at max or won't work at all.
exactly.
So we have to wait again. ;-)

[Q] GB Kernel with dm-crypt

Hi.. New here, coming from Fascinate, Rezound is in the mail..
Since I'm waiting, I'm looking for kernels (GB) that were compiled with dm-crypt enabled. I wanna run my LUKS, but I'm holding off on going to ICS until it's official from HTC.. I haven't downloaded the source yet, so I'm just assuming it was not in the stock GB kernel.. I'd love to find out I'm wrong.
In a perfect world I'd just take the stock kernel with CONFIG_DM_CRYPT, so if that doesn't exist and there's some interest, I might just compile one.
Sorry for the newb question, but I'm not up on dev / kernels over here..
Thanks!
sweet.. straight from my fresh HTC source .config..
Code:
CONFIG_DM_DEBUG=y
CONFIG_DM_CRYPT=y
::does happy dance::
guess that answers that! Coming from Samsung, working with HTC source code is a dream..
Thanks anyway!

Question to MIUI experts!

Hi all,
I recently got my GS2 and am currently using the latest miui rom from miuiandroid, however I was considering cMIUI or MIUI.us...anyone that has tried all and knows their stuff can tell me what they think? Are they as stable as miuiandroid's ROM? What are the pros/cons?
Also I have been using SiyahKernel but apparently gokhan has stopped supporting GS2 and now only does GS3...any other kernel you would suggest that is better than siyah and allows 1.6ghz stable oc?
Thanks in advance for helping a newbie!

[Q] which kernel to use with ressurection remix AOKP build 4.2.1?

hi friends, why doesnt the [ROM] posters add a "Supported kernels list" link to their page? How to know if the kernel is supported?? which kernel can i use with Ressurection Remix v3.1.4 ??
everything is running stable, but i cannot use Stweaks, and cannot overclock.
can i use Siyah kernel? it says it doesnt support 4.2.x ... which kernel supports this?? what am i missing .. i searched the threads and forums but was unable to find RELEVENT info..
it almost seems like no one is using RR
I try very hard not to create a thread, but search did nt help.. what keywords would you use to get the answers? can anybody also help me get a general idea?
these are "similar" threads.. still not the same though.. coz im not asking for battery life or anything. just a list of compatible kernels. is there no such list??!

Aokp
Frankly Speaking Dont Use The Rom
It was Good when it was new
But now its Outdated
And hasnt been updated For about 2-3 months
Better Use this AOKP
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2178228
Its official and Good
And you can use stock kernal(the one which comes preinstalled)
or
Tamasek's Kernal
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1797109
I Would suggest you to use stock kernal as it is finely tuned for the rom
custom kernal sometimes damage the rom
Dont Forget to press Thanks
why doesnt the [ROM] posters add a "Supported kernels list" link to their page
That would mean testing every kernel and every continual kernel update .
Devs build rom either with a kernel or choice of kernels .
Want another kernel then users are expected to bother to read the faqs guides and how to first . A bit of knowledge gives the user enough to read a kernels description and decide for themselves . Or even ask in the rom or kernel thread .

[Q] RE: [KERNEL][AGNi][CM 4.2.2] 12-06-2013

Just wondering if the digitizer frying issue with the mentioned kernel has been resolved as of the latest update? I cant post in the dev thread, not enough posts. I usually use that kernel when running CM10.1, and I was planning on continuing to use that kernel, But I'm not game enough if it hasn't been fixed yet.
