Hi everybody, I'd like to share the bootanimation I made for my (now semidead) Milestone 2, I´ve resized it to fit my/our Defy - Defy+ Screens.. It's a really sober, and b&w animation I think originally I pulled some pieces off another Milestone but honestly I dont remember...
This is a flashable Zip via custom recovery, so go ahead, try it and tell me what you guys think

It seems to turn out that my flasheable thing was not working... I tested it on my defy once, changed some small details, re-zipped the thing, flashed again and got a bootloop, that's the reason I deleted it.. here's just the bootanim.zip.... sorry guys

Me on JB too, try changing the red motorola logo to a white m with no circle! looks good!

Please note that this is a very unstable, but nevertheless bootable, version of Android 2.2 for the X10 Mini - The first successful port to my knowledge. Don't expect anything to operate properly, apart from basic functionality - it's an experimental ROM in very early Alpha. All I'm doing is making it available for developer scrutiny and/or manipulation

As far as I'm aware, this is the first and only successful port of Froyo to the x10 mini/pro, so as the chap above said - "Why not?"
Hopefully somebody with a bit more knowledge can play around with it.
I'm gonna try to deal with it...AOSP should be much easier to port than Sense. Atm, I'm stuck with sense rild :// . Althrough I'm not top dev, just experienced enthusiast .
Cum on guyz at least anybody tried this......well i really appreciate ur work buddy.....but if it does nothing that we are still really far from the reality of 2.2

The ICS one is a 4x upscaled low-res animation. Shame there (still) isn't a proper sharp high-res version to be found anywhere.

I'm rockin the sgh-i957 with Danorom which is brilliant. Is there a simple way to do this? I can't seem to get the images to flash but can I just say copy someones samsungboot.qmg file(s)? Can you upload those?
I would also like to know if a custom boot animation would be possible on 4.0.4, and if there is a way to just edit the qmg files.

Hi safariking,
I made a copy of the original cm10 bootanimation.zip and then replaced it with the ubuntu one from the first page, and everything worked as expected.
So I tried a second one (sony S) and all I got was the original android letters lighting up instead of the bootanimation. Also tried the JB one without success. So I copied the original bootanimation.zip from CM10 back, but the bootanimation stayed the android letters.
What am I doing wrong?

U did only a recovery not a zip for flash. And did i say that its something special? Only a answer to a request. Will improve it soon and please if you dont like my work, use your time for better things

What the hell are you talking about? Fail I ported this very rom from some other device. But i din't put it on Xda since it is kinda lame and everyone can install these apps on their current rom.

dont want to be rude,but this can be done by anybody in less then 2 mins.lewa os and joy os port takes about 2 mins(that is not that easy .just insert apps in system,change perms and poof.you have this rom you made.but good job for trying

one thing i noticed is that it is not pre-rooted.. i was too lazy to flash the superuser zip file, so i didnt try if its working..
other than that, everything seems ok.. battery draw is same as the new CM7 nightly.

download superuser in market, It will work
FCs, when ever I tried to enter in Any of the settings menu.
Launcher, SMS, notes are not syncing. Blah blah and yeah not rooted.
OSjoy is however a nice experience

The popups and buttons aint much cool either,, so heres a png pack that should revamp your device,, compatible with any rom (atleast most as these are the basic pngs)
Now,, what is holo lock,, note that it is not ics lock, jb lock, key lime pie lock,, it is a replace ment of samsung default circle lock pngs and time pngs to get a better 3D time with a better blue circle lock made by me alone
