I am Pacific time zone, its 1AM and I am thinking the same thing lol. I wanted to get a DR 1.8 utility out. I can only blame bad upload speed, but I am very grateful that we can get these files at all!
Thanks firmware team for your work! It is very appreciated.

Hey matt your utility's rock, saved me more than once. Cant wait for 1.8...

Being uploaded here now: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/cdma_spyder/list.php
EDIT: Link avaiable: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/cdma_spyder/VRZ_XT912_6.7.2-180_DHD-16_M4-31_1FF.xml.zip
Be warned that you cannot downgrade back after flashing it.

I've been using this Firmware. It's cool since GSM/UMTS works beautifully as well as LTE/CDMA ...

You guys rock!!!
Now I am free to try any rom with my new XT912 right? (old XT910S is still bricked)
Thanks a bunch!
p.s. I really hope that someone would be kind enough to upload the sbf of XT910S Korea.

So this is the .211 Fastboot files for the CDMA RAZR (912) correct? So now I can fastboot this and NOT have to use Matt's 1.7 utility to "unstuck" my RAZR and flash the .211 OTA?
I'm assuming then this is the OFFICIAL 211 image.
Also, noticed that the XML file doesn't have the entry to wipe your internal SD card. Thank goodness that was removed (even though it was an easy edit).

I hate to ask this, but I don't see where its posted. What will this firmware do for my phone. Will it make the radios stronger or what exactly does it do?

Doing real good. Love the RAZR, but I didn't get it through Verizon nor Moto, so neither one got my money!
SO much better than the X2 ever was.

It allows you to flash your phone with a fresh install of ICS .211 (the same as the OTA) through RSD Lite. So, if you really mess up your phone trying to install a ROM or something, you can get back to stock ICS. That is all this file does - makes your phone stock. Originally we would flash the 2.3.6 SBF file to get back to GB. However, if you installed the OTA or some of the ICS leaks the bootloader changed, so flashing the 2.3.6 file would have caused your phone to become a brick (meaning you would need a new one). So now guys can mess with their phones (like we did on GB) and we can have this to fall back on if something goes wrong while trying to get our flashing fix...

Enjoy guys

And soon, Matt should release v1.8 of his utilities which will make it even easier for us to go back to stock.

[Q] I'm new to Droid and I'm totally lost about GB update

Helo guys, I used to own a Samsung Galaxy S, and last week I got the Droid X2 from Verizon. So now I'm seeing new terms being used like sbf, debloat, freeze, etc...
My DX2 is root and I also have the V6 Supercharger, and I still can't get the GB update.
I believe many users on this forum have the same case as mine, so can anyone give us steps to follow in order to get the update.
Thank you so much
sbf back to stock using rsd.

I came from a similar situation. I just got the x2 as a replacement for my fascinate due to repetitive missed call issues. I updated to Gingerbread today using the tips on this forum & the file posted to the mediafire link. The first thing you'll need to do for this update to work is undue all the non-stock modifications you've done.
Unsupercharge
Unfreeze or replace any stock apps you may have uninstalled. This is where the sbf comes in, it's the stock image that was loaded when it left the factory.
Unroot, might not be necessary but its better safe than sorry. Especially since this update is unrootable atm.
Rename the downloaded file update.zip & put it in the root of your sdcard-ext.
Flash from the stock recovery & you should be good.
Whatever other info you need, search these threads-its in there somewhere.

The SBF does infact restore you to stock 2.2.2
It should also be the first thing you do when you get the phone (before rooting etc) It blows my mind that people would mess with their device without doing an SBF at least once.
The SBF will usually require you to battery pull at the end, go to stock Android recovery and wipe data and cache. (unless you did that before running the SBF)
On Vista and Windows 7 make sure you right click RSDlite and choose to "run as admin"
Everyone who did the OTA or the 2.3 update from here at XDA and wants p3droids rooted update is going to have to SBF momentarily. We should get rooted 2.3 this afternoon according to p3's twitter
I unrooted my phone and uninstalled the Supercharger, I sbf'd back to stock Froyo successfully, and still I can't get the update. What else should I do?

GREAT, you have completed step one. Do not load anything else on your phone. You will not be getting a over the air update.
You have more work to do to get 2.3.3 on your phone.
Just follow the direction at this link.

Just to be clear.... He should eventually get an OTA update if he waits long enough. But he won't be able to root it. So follow the link above, and do those steps to install the rooted version of the update from 3Pdroid.
(Yeah I know that's obvious, but the title of this thead DOES include the words, "I'm Totally Lost". )
Thanks all, I'm on the pre-rooted GB now
Much appreciated

Although I dont know for sure on the RAZR, especially a non US RAZR, I had a Bionic a couple weeks before the RAZR and a few updates where leaked, and these where not down gradeable. Once you updated the kernal and radio's to a newer release, they could not be reverted back.

So.... you're stalking me since the Diamond/HD2 times, huh?

Oh, and, can anyone upload this file on another hosting like MU, FS or something like that?

Milestone X2 SBF: 1FF-daytona-user-2.3.6-45.0.43/111123-release-keys-signed-ntelos-US

Update if you flash to a non-ntelos phone you must not wipe data OR give it a "reason" to mess with your current service programming. You could loose 3g over time anyway if I don't figure out how to hack the 8035 seem.
If any non-Ntelos users want to flash this please post about. If I had done certain things I may have kept 3g. You are warned. You may lose 3g anyway.

But now its different we have the mx2 nand to correct what the Ntelos sbf puts askew. We know the nand works & well.
So it still may be one way but it may work w/ the nand following after.
I would like a C Spire sbf!
Lets wait to see if the sbf & the nand fix a bricked DST milestone x2.
Edit
The sbf changes the baseband & may not be compatible with vzw.
The nand does not touch the baseband so the mx2 nand works but the mx2 sbf may never work, but what the hell do I know!

I'd like to help and test, but I'm not feeling that brave
Good luck to others though, maybe a 2.3.6 ROM could be developed with it?

Give it a whirl? Be careful if your baseband matches then it should take but I am shooting from the hip here.
Give it a whirl as in I will definitely use it if I have no choice, or if im bricked.

Jamiclnt80 to answer your question it is not possible to downgrade once the 2.3.6 update has taken place. This update changes the firmware with security updates. Once that has taken place then you can not go back! >.< I have tried several times but as of now we have an sbf, root access so why at this point. Lets move forward! I hope that helps

All Droid X2 SBFs and OTA updates

These are all the updates I could find, most of the 2.3.5 updates came from a couple threads here, the officials I pulled from my phone. I renamed them to clarify what they do, since each one only goes from one particular Android version to another.
edit: Added the SBFs since I don't see the 2.3.5 one in the stickies, I can't remember where I found it. The others are in threads here.

Sorry, being kind of a noob myself i don't know how to post links just search the forums and look for videos on YouTube, that's what I did, because the razr has a locked bootloader it's very hard to really ruin it, seems the devs have a fix for everything ! Good luck

It seems like you are already on PSHAsiaRetail stock.
So just read and follow the instructions given here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1748944
**Root should not be a problem if you follow the above thread! cheers..

I don't know if this will let me post a link yet, but the "Literally Fool Proof Guide To Installing .211 (ICS)" (Google that) was the guide that got the update installed for me. It involved wiping the phone, but it's worth it since I had the time to go through my Titanium backups, etc. Here's the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1692694
EDIT: BTW, I had to get Version 1.7 of Matt's DroidRAZRUtility to re-root after installing ICS 4.0.4 (i.e. the .211 update). Version 1.6 didn't root it. I did not need the "Modified" version 1.6, though; did the fastboot flashing with Matt's 1.6-final. I also had to install updated Motorola drivers (came with DroidRAZRUtility1.7forICS.zip) to reroot.
