Amazing Alex - Transformer TF300T Themes and Apps

Looks like the new Rovio game is not compatible with our device! Come on Rovio, how can you ignore Tegra 3! Let me know if any of you get it working.

I side loaded it as a market search would not bring it up and it seems to start up fine but I didn't really get into the game just yet.

Runs perfectly fine and smooth on my tf300t. I'm on Hydro 3.5.

same for me on the same rom, no issues what so ever

Side-loaded it on my stock TF300. No issues yet through the first few worlds.

Ended up side loaded it as well, works perfectly. So strange its not available for our tablets.

Apparently it isn't available on ANY of the Asus tablets - even on Nexus 7. Maybe Rovio has some quarell with Asus? I submitted support ticket with this problem to them.

My guess is it is a tegra 3 support issue. My side loaded app is working perfectly.

I had zero trouble installing straight from the play store, runs like a champ On aokp BTW

sideloaded the HD version........running without any glitch..............on stock rom:highfive:

GTA 3 for Android.

I decided to grab this today, seeing a few comments about some Nexus S users saying it works fine. It's only $5, so what have I got to lose.
It seems to crash after the title screen, phones goes all black screen and stops. Anyone else have any luck? I'm running CM7.1 with the Trinity 1.44GHz kernel. I'm going to try different rom and kernels this evening.
I'm interested in this too. We may have to use chainfire 3d?
How do you buy it if your device is incompatible?

For me it crashes on start, even before the title screen appears.

Don't see that anywhere. Only a blurb about the Galaxy Nexus. Also doesn't say if it is tegra or not either.
Lucky for me I could still refund it even after a 20 minute download of the supporting files.

Odd. I did it through the desktop market on my pc and it said it was compatible. I noticed they had like 4 different versions of the game on the market.

I sent an email to Rockstargames NY explaining the situation with FC on the Nexus S. I will let you guys know as soon as I receive a response. I would imagine it would be hard to optimise applications for every different hardware/software combination but I am pretty disappointed in RS that they didn't think to test on the NS considering it's a dev phone.
Like someone previously stated, at the time of my download there is no mention of compatibility with any specific handset so I assumed it would work. I'd say this will be fixed soon, so I won't be after a refund (happy to wait!) but hopefully they respond quickly.
Real nice on my atrix, got it working with sixaxis but the controls arent mapped so will have to work it out by trial and error. Get in/out of car is F and the analogue sticks work out of the box, hopefully someone will work it out and post a list
I bought it this morning and it runs great. I'm on a Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 running galaxy task v8 and pershoots kernel oc'd to 1.4GHz. It has occasional lag but its lag that existed on the ps2. Overall I'm happy and it was £3 well spent.
Sent from my GalaxyTask
Really want this game
Was just saying to myself the other day how my ns could last be with me for years to come. But being able to play this game would easily make it worth upgrading. Anyone know how the hardware compares to ps2? I would imagine it to be about the same or a little better...

Modern Combat 3 on ics?

Is there somebody with ics and modern combat 3 working?
I really like that game, but it keeps in a loop on the gameloft logo...
Is there a solution?
Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201 using xda premium
Gameloft provide no support for the transformer prime with any of their games. Or so I've been told.
I know, but it did run on honeycomb.
Hopefully it will work again on ics...
Maybe v1.0.1

we just have to wait till they update the Acer500 version to be compatible with the prime. Or maybe even xoom version upgraded. Both have same screen size resolution as Prime.
I asked gameloft, their reply:
Hello Ralf,
Thank you for contacting Gameloft customer support.
My name is Vrian and i am here to assist you with this problem.
Our Dev team is working hard on updating our games to work on ICS.
Please wait for an update that should fix that issue.
I will forward this message to them in order to assist them making the fix.
I apologize for this and ask for some patience.
If you have any further concerns please let me know.

Yeah, ICS just rolled out for zoom just recently.
It should only be a matter of time. Hopefully a few more days
The game was already updated for ICS (works on Galaxy Nexus), so I think it's just that they haven't made it compatible with the TP. I hope they're optimizing it for Tegra 3.

Good to know its been updated. But I think it has more to do with ICS on prime and not cause of tegra 3 cause it will work on Prime with Honeycomb. And it also works on my tegra 2 tablet fine. But after ICS on the Prime the game bootloops during intro. I was hoping with ICS every app will work no matter what device as long as the app has been updated to ICS compatibility. Atleast that's what it was supposed to do.
Can you tell me what version is in your Nexus. The latest mc3 version I have for my Evo3d is 1.0.1.
It seems this game already works on xoom with ICS for almost 2 weeks now.

There is no way I can try this out without a link. Pm me the link to test out. There is none on the xoom site.
There's been another update to Prime ICS from 11.1 to 13. I wonder if this will finally allow MC3 v1.0.1 to run right since technically that version was supposed be ICS compatible.

Awesome! The more ROMs the better. There probably isn't a thread yet due to the fact that there seems to be an issue going on with the revs and moderators. 2 awesome ROMs are no longer available anymore. (AOKP & Primalicious)

1. I've heard nothing but great things about Gummy ROMs so it's actually great to hear that it's being worked on.
2. It probably won't be posted on XDA because developers are starting to revolt (XDA apparently has jumped the shark according to the developer community).
3. Expect this thread to be closed because Hitler doesn't want people sympathizing with the Jews.
4. I stand firm with developers. If anything, the recent events with ROM developers makes me want to donate MORE and MORE to them because of how crappy they are treated. Police officers are allows to speed to chase down speeders. ROM developers should be exempt from 95% of all rules plain and simple because they run the show. This site wouldn't exist without them. I bow down to them. All respect.
Cheers,

Having just had a look at the Gummy source I can see what the issue is. They are using the cm9 tf201 device tree. When I tried this whilst compiling AOKP I also ended up with no wifi.
Cyanogenmod team have added a commit that uses the aosp Broadcom wifi module and this seems to be the issue. Reverting that commit and using the wifi module that was being used previously should resolve the issue until it is worked out fully.
Just incase anyone else wanted to have a go at building the source themselves, which I might just do in a moment or two.
Gummy prime is uploading tonight big update across all supported platforms tonight and prime is included

Looks like we are next!

On G+ a user asked Asus about Jelly Bean for the TF201 and Asus replied "Jelly says it's his next stop "

The big question is if it actually resolves any of the problems that are present in the TF201 ICS firmware. So far, Asus has made no claim that it does. You can spraypaint a turd pink, but its still smells like a turd.

Apparently the new kernel has some effect on the TF300's I/O, which seems to be the main weakness on the Prime. Improve that bottleneck and it'll help a lot of different areas.
To be honest with the root tweaks my prime's performance is adequate, even if the jelly bean improvements are marginal I'll be pretty satisfied.
I just want Google Now and that higher frame rate.

that was a wonderful statement...
too many people here
(uber-techies & needy people)
forget that with all of the dev going on for this device,
they have made an already great Droid
(yes, i AM aware of its MANY shortcomings)
an AWESOME Droid!
i almost sent mine back(twice)...
the dev community convinced me to stick it out & keep it.
glad i did.
(btw, i have 5 other Droids in house; the Prime gets the most use of all)
Half of us can't even unlock and try any dev, so it doesnt apply to us until we can. We've tried to get an answer from Asus and they've done nothing.
Love my Prime
Had it since the first shipment, 12/23/11 and have no issues at all except GPS as we all know. All games run great no complaints except Madden, can't get that to run for anything. I am unlocked and rooted and flashed most of these roms. Thank you to the devs that keep our device alive and fast.
I must say I have no problems running games (those tegra games are beautiful and run great), i only have the occasional ANR while downloading torrents but pressing 'wait' just makes it disappear and everything functions. So, not much crashes or apps getting stuck

Anyone use this to play old Window/Dos Games?

I was searching for a port of Warcraft2 and came across this apk:
http://www.androidgamesroom.com/stand-alone-games/81902.htm
Has anyone used this and does it work good on the Prime?
I installed it but it uses the original source files so if you don't actually own the game this won't work. Unfortunatly I let my brother borrow my disks and he still has them. I'll see him over Christmas so I'll report back on how this works for anyone who owns Warcraft 2 (sorry, didn't mention this was only for the old game Warcraft 2 in my original post)
