Stock ICS Mods? - HTC Rezound

Hello, are there any mods that will work for stock ICS, rooted, zipaligned, etc? I wasn't sure if you could use just simple mods that work with specific ROMs or not.
Honestly all I'm looking for is a mod to get rid of the cross-hairs on the status bar and a battery percentage mod.

Best bet is to try the mods section to see if anything was released for the rom your running or put a request in there.

None was posted. From the looks of it, it's all developer ROMs and not the stock ICS ROM. I'll put a request in there, thanks.

[Q] Delete Toggles?

I'm on stock ICS rom, only rooted and with CWM. My question is can i delete notification toggles? Like this on picture
No, They are within the TW framework. They can be on GB with JKay mod but as its not available in ICS yet I dont think you can do it.
Correct me if im wrong!
ICS has toggles mods 15 at the current count find the mods in themes or dev section .
Toggles can be reordered all off don't know never tried .
You can turn them off with JKay in GB so probably also via the mods

1% Battery Increments - ICS

Just wondering if this was possible on the OTA, if some kind of mod was available, not on a ROM or anything, just stock ICS.
Not looking for BABattery, or another app/widget, just an actual mod to the stock battery in the status bar.

Uh, OP specifically said not a ROM, he wants stock with only 1% mod.
To OP, there is a 1% battery mod out there for the "stock" .211 the problem is you have to be running the "stock" deodexed ROM to use it, so really either way your running a somewhat custom ROM.
Thanks for the help guys.
Is there a way to deodex the stock OTA in order to apply the mod maybe?

There is a Deodexed .211 over at Droidrzr.com you can use, but I really suggest you to wait till your sure you want to keep it before doing anything to it, simply due to the lack of having .211 fastboot files.
re
i want lower increments on the volume button.. Currently its about 7% and thats too much.

i believe u just need to change this number to a higher value to have more increments in your volume options
ro.config.vc_call_vol_steps=7
found in /system/build.prop
edit: tested just now n realised that only works in phone calls!

Yes, not looking for an app here. I saw the deodexed .211, was interested in installing it, but when do you think the fast boot files for the stock OTA will come out?

[Q] DNA - is it deodexed or not?

Hi Guys
The stock ROM that come with the Verizon DNA, is it deodexed or not?
Thanks
No, but you are able to disable the apps. So it helps, if you don't want to root.

So if I need/want a deodexed device I need to root it, recovery installed and some other/custom ROM installed, am I right?

Correct. Most (if not all) factory default roms are odexed. As for installing a custom rom, I'd look at Supercharged Hatka if you want a stock look with tweaks. If you want an AOSP looking rom, go to Battery Plus (Something along the lines of that... Forgot the exact name)
Although once CM10 is working fully, I'd 100% recommend that to anyone!

OK, Thanks for the info
I would also take a look at Viper if you like to get into deep customization of your phone. Lots of fun stuff to play with in that ROM.

[Q] kernel help?

As stated in the title.... I hope I'm not asking too much of any of the great devs on our device but would it be possible to modify the 23b kernel to support Cloadyfa's international ROM?
Prior to jumping on the stock lollipop ROM I was running his 1.2 ROM and got rid of that nagging little "unknown SIM card" icon in the status bar... I would greatly appreciate it if someone could do this for me ( or community) or lead me in the proper forum??
Thanks in advanced!!!

the only way that would work is if cload's rom were stock verizon lollipop based, in which case, i dont understand why there would be a rom posted with no kernel.
maybe im just missing something, im not familiar with his rom.

Reason I even mentioned this was because with his kitkat (1.2 build), all that was needed for it to flash on the vs985 was a modified kernel. Otherwise it will enter a bootloop. I was hoping the same would apply with his lollipop build (2.1). I just can't stand the noncustomisability that pure, carrier stock has... I like having the circle battery mod with percentage and my time in the center of the status bar along with a nav bar height of 30px...
Lollipop is nice and smooth, I just want customisablity. Hopefully someone could chime in on this. I would be completely grateful for the work!

ahh, ok that seems logical.
maybe the best course of action would be to find out how they fixed the kk kernel. then propose it to a dev like, "this is how they fixed the kk kernel, can you please do it to the L kernel"
maybe more likely to help if they knew what to fix.
just a suggestion.
sorry, im unable to help myself.

[MOD] [H918] 3 Minit framework for 10p - clock and battery mods

Below is a 3 Minit flashable zip framework for the LG V20 H918 10p. It may work on other LG devices and other V20 variants. I got the original zip from Nyfl2004 so he gets all the credit!
Flashing instructions:
1) PURCHASE the 3 Minit paid version from here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.three.minit.minitbatterysettings
Ok, this is optional because the zip file contains the free version. But the free version doesn't support AdAway which I can't live without. Also, by purchasing this app you get the joy of supporting an awesome developer.
2) Download the framework from here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3y-9RMsaMSbWGQ3WFl3anktUTQ/view?usp=drivesdk
3) Boot into twrp, make a backup, and flash the zip
4) reboot. Use the app to make changes.
If you mess something up, just reflash your ROM or restore from your backup.
Enjoy. Please leave thanks if this is helpful to you.
Thanks!
Is there a version for 10k by any chance?
Thanks,
Paul

I would personally have to say this mod would be recommended for a stock, deodexed rom, meaning not a custom built rom.
Reason being, custom roms like WETA and NATF have mods already built in (nor sure of they include these mods) and replacing the SystemUI will remove any additional mods they have leaving you with just the mods mentioned in this thread.
I know WETA has many mods like NavBar icons and others, those will all be lost and the options in WETA control would be broken.
You're best bet if the custom rom you're running doesn't have a feature you want is to contact the dev or learn how to use apktool to modify the files for your needs.
I don't run any of the roms here so I can't say what they do or do not have so this is just my opinion based on building my own roms so do what you will with the info.
Good luck.
OP congrats and keep up the good work!
Great to see people stepping in to build especially since we've recently lost a few devs for our v20. If u have any questions or looking to nake some more mods happen, hit me up and I'll do my best to get you set up.
