If you enabled sprints connection optimizer, that will do it. Try turning it off in settings, more settings, mobile networks, and lastly automatic connections.

Basic question - Switching SIM between two phones??

I have an ATT Galaxy S2 obviously.... I came across a brand new in box ATT Galaxy Note for a very good price.
Can I use both and just switch the SIM card when ever I feel like it?
If so, I'm buying it.
Thanks in advance.

LTE Sims are free. Att will configure the account or you can manually put in the correct APN for hspa only.

Black screen on JB games?

Hi all, I'm using the latest JB leak and I have noticed that some games end up causing the screen to go black as if it's turned off. Anyone have a fix for this issue?

What ROM are you running?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
i have the same problem too i tried ARHD and OMEGA. Both had same problem ( Arhd 5.0.0 dont know if problem still exists )
Everytime you boot up your phone you have to select it manually as far as i know.
the developer setting will not stick... I tried... The final solution is to change the ROM... I switched to XXDLH5... It works perfectly fine...
I'm on DLH6 4.1.1

Wifi hardware limit on the S3?

Just wondering what guys thoughts on this were. I can't get any faster test speeds of 32/10 on a 100/10 line.

Use the 5Ghz band
I'm getting 49Mbit on my 60Mbit vdsl connection
Skickat från min GT-I9300 via Tapatalk 2
That's actually a really obvious dead.. why didn't I think of it when I was testing the other day? On 120 line with Virgin Media and only getting 1/4 of that is annoying. Thanks for the suggestion!

5ghz is definitely the way to go.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Ahh... Didn't think of that. Then again, 5ghz band will have less coverage so I'm not sure it'll benefit me better.

U need to have it broadcasting on ur router first. Not all standard routers have dual band.
If ur router supports it, click on wifi in settings (on ur phone) and connect to it like u did with ur current connection.
I have my SSID changed so I recognise which band is my 5ghz band.

Is under accessibility. Is called talk back

Boy, you're on a roll today, huh?
Turn off talk back in accessibility options.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda premium
If talkback isn't enabled, it might be another issue many of us have encountered. Certain apps such as Liteflow and Popup Notifier, as well as others, can cause this behavior if they are enabled in Accessibility Settings. There is no cure other than uninstalling the app that isn't playing well.
