[Q] Anyone know this icon? - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

Anyone know what this lil icon is for?
The one in the status bar next to my alarm icon??
Cheers,
Evil.

keyboard
right: I think that is is the wifi (only on, not connected to any network)
left: lets you know that you pressed the blue button on the keyboard and is locked in symbols, so when you press "H" instead of writing the letter put the symbol "*"
Try repeatedly pressing the blue button and you'll see how it changes the icon

[Q] notifications off?

Next to the clock in the statusbar there is a little minus sign. When I tap it, it says"notifications off, tap here to turn back on". When I tap there, nothing happens.
I don't know how I turned them off to begine with, and can't seem to turn them back on. If I tap the clock, a popup appears with time and date, then I can see the notes, but they don't appear next to the clock like they used to.
Does anyone know how to get this back to normal. I'm on hc, stock rooted. Did a search, didn't see anything that sounded like this.
Press on battery icon, you'll see notification pop up, press small icon at bottom right (looks like 3 slider lines) you'll get the menu with possibility to tick/untick notifications.

[Q] Notify bar not notifying.

So,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and suddenly appeared an icon in the status bar with the character "i" and a prohibited sign (Screenshot attached). Since then it seems I don't get the notifying icons (email, texts, etc...) but if I pull the bar down, i can see the notifications in full format (email with sender, text, etc... as always).
Does anyone know how to re-enable again the notify icons?
Thanks in advance.
Marc.
You've probably just inadvertently turned off Notification from the pull down menu quick buttons. Scroll to the right and they'll be one for 'Notification' with i in the Circle. Turn it back on and voilĂ .
This video will walk you through it if my instructions have be poor: http://www.mobilehowto.co.uk/samsun...-this-notification-icon-i-with-line-thro.html

Doesn't that mean you have turned off notifications? Toggle it on the pull-down menu

[Q] New? Unknown Status Bar Icon - Xperia Go

Hello All
I've tried searching and can find no reference to the icon shown here on the status bar, on the left of the right side group of icons, next to the Mute icon. It looks like two hands holding a rectangle.
I'm new to the Android platform and can find no reference to it on either the phones or the operators documentation. It's there all the time, and cant be selected. It does grey out when I attach a USB lead.
The phone is running ICS 4.04 on the O2 Ireland network.
Any ideas?
Thanks - Mike
Sorry guys, I've worked this one out myself
Its the Extended Standby Mode status icon. It pops up when you enable the mode but is greyed out whenever the phone is on charge.

[Q] Navigation bar like on KitKat -> on Lollipop?

Since 5.x versions, we have new look for touch Navigation Bar. There is triangle, circle, square and we can turn on menu (square with dots). But we can't remove 'last app' button, the square one. Is any way to have navigation bar exactly like in KitKat? Which is: Menu, Home, Back. And for last apps - long press of Home.
