Bluetooth Keyboard Leather Case Cover - Galaxy Tab 7.7 Accessories

Hi,
I have a BT keyaboard that came with the leather case cover.
item 150790051708 on ebay (seems i can not post link or image yet :crying: )
The keyboard worked ok until i updated to CM9, but when i upgraded i deleted the pairing to the device.
Pressing the link button or holding it when i turn on the power dont make it show up in "DEVICES AVAILABLE" on the tab.
My BT mouse showed up and connected without any problem so the bluetooth on the tab works ok.
Also tried with the USB-microUSB connected.
The keyboard is fully charged.
Am i missing something?
Anyone know who maufacture this keyboard (It dont have any marks or tag under it, seems they forgot to put it on)?

[Q] Prime has trouble pairing with Logitech bluetooth audio adapter

I just bought a Logitech bluetooth audio adapter (Model 980-000540) and am having a lot of trouble getting my Asus Transformer Prime to pair with it.
I've got the gold TF201, 32GB, all software up to date. I've gotten it to pair a couple times reliably, but the other 20 times I've tried pairing it works like this:
1) Press the button on the Logitech that puts it into discovery mode. The light on the unit starts flashing green to indicate it is announcing itself.
2) In the Prime settings, I have Bluetooth enabled, and then search for devices.
3) The Logitech unit shows up in the "Available Devices" list pretty quickly. Sometimes I see (what appears to be) a MAC address, sometimes it shows up as "(A9)Logitech Adapter".
4) When I click on the Logitech item in the list, it goes gray and says "Pairing" underneath it.
5) Most of the time, it the moves to the section above, to indicate that it has paired.
6) Immediately the green light changes to red on the Logitech, indicating it has lost pairing.
7) Shortly afterwards, the Logitech item goes back into the "Available devices" section.
8) If I try to pair now, with the Logitech no longer in discovery mode, the Prime will show a dialog that says "Couldn't pair with (A9)Logitech Adapter because of an incorrect PIN or passkey." The only option is OK, and there is no ability to set the PIN.
This happens 19 out of 20 times, but it's locked on a couple times and seems totally solid and reliable after that. It's just the pairing process which seems unbelievably fragile.
To my surprise, my Samsung Galaxy Nexus (LTE) has no trouble pairing with it at all. It paired the first try, and now whenever I turn Bluetooth back on it immediately syncs with the Logitech with no hassle at all. Rock solid.
I've tried various tricks, but none seem to work:
- Put the tablet into Bluetooth-broadcast-visible mode at the same time.
- Turning bluetooth off and then back on, etc.
Has anyone else had trouble with Logitech bluetooth speaker adapters too? Or does anyone have any tricks or apps that can coax the Transformer Prime into pairing more reliably?
Thanks for any help,
Jim
I had a very similar problem last week trying to pair a LG headset with the prime, connected with phone perfect, and but likewise when trying to connect also to prime second got the lost connection, incorrect pass/pin etc etc.
I solved it by connecting bluetooth headset to phone, then under phones bluetooth settings press and hold device name to bring up a menu, and select options. Then unchecked the Media option/box. I then tried to connect the device to prime and it worked flawlessly. Since then I haven't had an issue and can even switch between the phone/prime & bluetooth device with no issues.
Hope above helps and you get it sorted.
Try this app. It may help if nothing else does.
Bluetooth Address Finder - Market
Not sure if the Prime or your Logitec gives you the option to input the BT address or not. I've not had any problems pairing or connecting to any of my BT devices.

Bluetooth Mouse not pairing

I am trying to pair a bluetooth mouse to my TF201 on ICS. It asks me for a password and I put in 0000 and 1234 and it still says wrong password. I have paired these with another laptop but it doesn't want to work on my Prime for some reason. I don't have it connected to the dock, is that the problem or is it something else?
It should work. I'm setting here using my TFP with my MS bluetooth mouse. I hadn't thought of using it with the out the keyboard, but it works!
Once you get it paired, don't ever unpair it! Also, if you're downloading a large file, you'll lose BT connecitivity. Took me a long time to get the BT mouse working again.
Do only certain types work? I have tried a Logitech and an HP both with no success.
I know that this is not Bluetooth....but it is a damn good mouse and works well with my Prime and Dock:

Ehhh kind of defeats the purpose...
I got the cheapest one I could find on eBay and it paired. BUT ... the mouse has 2 modes. It has to be switched on first with a slide switch underneath. Also underneath is the pairing button. The mouse has a blue light to show it is doing this. Click on the wakeup button on the top and the optical red light comes on. It will not pair if you wake it up!!! Only switching it off and back on again let me press the pairing button. Once paired, it stays paired. With the blue light going, I set the TP to scan for devices.
When you say it won't pair when you wake it up, does it say it's the wrong password?

[Q] Keyboard dock won't pair anymore after 3 weeks of normal use

Hi, thanks for reading.
Looking for ideas - my keyboard dock won't pair with the phone anymore. It worked fine so far ..
I already tried:
1. Rebooting the phone, restarting the keyboard
2. In the Bluetooth settings menue - tried to manually detect. The keyboard is not showing on the available device
3. Bluetooth is working - my car speaker playes nice with the phone
4. The blue light on the keyboard blinks for 10 seconds, according to the manual this means it's "reconnecting" but nothing happens
Ideas ? is there a way to "reset" the keyboard ?
Thanks in advance !

Nexus 9 Pairing with Folio Keyboard

I'm finding the pairing of the Folio Keyboard with my Nexus 9 to be problematic. I'm not sure if this is because there's an issue with NFC on either device or I'm just doing it wrong.
Pairing the keyboard using only bluetooth works but needs to be triggered by selecting the already paired with keyboard in bluetooth settings and can take 10s of seconds before it is connected. I expected that the keyboard would connect as soon as it came in range of the NFC chip, but it doesn't. I think NFC at least partially works as the keyboard is detected by the tablet as a trusted device via NFC. When I follow the directions to pair the keyboard via NFC by placing the tablet on it in the right manner it does not pair though I hear a tone when the doing it, that doesn't happen when I change the orientation of the tablet. From this I conclude that the NFC hardware works but something in my use of it, the configuration of the tablet or a system bug is stopping it working properly.
1) Is it a reasonable expectation that I can be expect once pairing has been completed that placing the tablet on the keyboard will be recognised by NFC without having to lay the tablet in the manner described in keyboard documentation?
2) Assuming the desired outcome as described above is possible will this trigger the tablet to turn on bluetooth (if it is turned off) or is it necessry for bluetooth to be either manually turned on, left on or find some other mechanism that triggers bluetooth to be turned on in order to connect the keyboard?
3) Is it a reasonable expectation that keyboard and tablet to be quickly connected (in a second or so) via bluetooth?
1. Once they're paired. They're paired, no need for nfc.
2. It will not turn on bluetooth automatically. Just leave bluetooth on at all times.
3. Mine connects pretty quickly once I learned the proper method to do it, that being with bluetooth on, slide the camera portion of the table slowly over the portion of the folio just above the number row. And visa versa to unpair.
The only annoying thing about this keyboard folio is the fact that I need to turn back on the "hardware input" to either see the on screen keyboard when not using the tablet, and turn off the onscreen keyboard when using the folio keyboard. I wish it did that automatically. I'm either missing something, or need to figure out a way to do that with tasker, via touch imputs or something.
Yeah, once you connect via bluetooth, NFC is no longer needed.
The frustration I am experiencing is that once the keyboard is paired and connected...if I turn bluetooth off or it disconnects, it won't automatically reconnect the next time BT is turned on. Am I missing something here? It's like the keyboard is asleep and the nexus can't find it to connect to.

Click to collapse
I generally just touch an input then hit a button on the folio keyboard. In about 1 or 2 seconds the letter will show up and the on screen keyboard will disappear. From there I just type normally.

Tablet case with keyboard doesn't work

Hello! I've just bought a case for my Dell Venue (3840) and it has a keyboard built-in with micro usb connector. It's something like this: http://www.tinydeal.com/protective-cover-stand-with-keyboard-for-7-tablet-pc-p-64754.html (The keyboard looks identical, only the outer side is different.)
The problem is, when I connect it to my tablet - it doesn't work. Somebody would say: the keyboard is faulty. It isn't - it works just fine with my Samsung Galaxy Note III.
Is there anything I can do to make it work with the Dell?
Here's USB Host Diagnostics result:

Kind regards
What's your input set to?
Input & language in settings when plugged in? I'd say note 3 is more advanced than these tablets and you might have to change it manually.
Well, it isn't even detected there. When I press Caps Lock or Numlock on the keyboard, LEDs won't even light up.
Hello,
I have similar problem with my Dell Venue 7, when I plug it into the mobile keyboard it will work for few minutes, but then the tablet stops recognizing the keyboard and the keys no longer work. I have to unplug and plug it again it back on to get them to reconnect. How can I fix it so they stay connected all the time?
