need help finding a safe way to root this device
and hopefully install a custom rom on to it.
i didnt realise it was a kirf device(fake) but i shouldnt have to suffer
How many rooting tools have you tried? There's a lot out there.

too afraid till i get a fair idea on what would be recommended, because it is a chinese phone after all although i know it can be rooted but with what i have no idea. any help appreciated
its is a mtk6575 model, HDC galaxy s3 i9300 mobile, android 4.0.4.

Hdc galaxy i9300 pro
I followed the directions from A YOUTUBE VIDEO titled - How to root the HDC Galaxy S3 i-9300 8.6mm Pro!
I now have supersu and there is also an option to upgrade to supersu pro which apparently is more advanced than the superuser rooting option.
I also have the clockwood mod application installed along with Rom Manager
There is an option to manually install the clockwood mod 2.x or 3.x+,
I have used 'fix permissions' which has made a hell of a difference to the perfomance of my phone.

are you kidding !? android 4.1.9 ? seriously ? you really should have bought a china clone bro !!
this is a i9300 forum, and your "device" has nothing in common with it
First off all, there is no Android 4.1.9 (except maybe some weird cheap china clones who would use a "non existent" Android version)
Did you buy your device in china?
second, there are many many tutorials around the web on how to root a device. You could easily use Google, no need to open up a new thread and asking how to Root a device.
If you try rooting your phone there is a really high chance that you'll get a brick. Your phone OBVIOUSLY isn't i9300 and so I don't recommend doing anything related to i9300 on it.

Umar, I have tried almost everything, the direct switch, the secret menu (*#9090#) to the network mode, radio bands etc, but couldn't get my rooted E210L anywhere above the G (i'm using warid 4g lte, works all like charm on other phone)... any idea? should i change the modem or what ? any advice ?

here can get perfect ROM from them , I have got one phone but the booting animation not samsung
and not rooted , I checked the video they have gave me a perfect ROM for this phone , hope this
can help you . Make sure your phone is the same as video , then it may work on your phone

hi all . don't know if this is the place to post this forgive me if its not .I am looking for a ROM for Samsung clone s4 alps gti 9500 I do not know the chip set type but according to spec device it has quad core processor . how do I find the correct specs for the device as well as custom or slimkat roms to mod my device. I have installed cwm (carliv recovery with aroma file manager) and it is running android 4.4.4 I need clarification on this as well I am very new to android please help me .many thanks

I got one 5.0 inch perfect 1:1 Galaxy s4 i9500 phone Android 4.2 jelly bean MTK 6589 Quad core 1gb ram 4gb rom HD 1280*720 screen 3G SIV .
I tried to change the rom and when i tried to turn on the mobile it was dark and it doesn´t turn on never more.
when i tried to flash other rom with flash tool.i can read the message enable dram failed.
I don´t know if i´m using the right rom for this mobile or I´m making something wrong. thanks

I made a test before flashing and I believe I readed star n9500. May be? I don´t know.
