Move "Apps" icon in touchwiz? Or port galaxy nexus or jelly bean launcher to the s3? - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Move "Apps" icon in touchwiz? Or port galaxy nexus or jelly bean launcher to the s3?
Hi can any devs out there help me? I would like to be able to move the 'apps' icon to the centre. (On the right at the moment) can anyone explain to me what to edit in .XML or how to do it? Or if that's not possible can you point me in the right direction of how to port google nexus launcher in to the s3? Much appreciated

Port the galaxy nexus or jellybean launcher to S3?
I posted in the last thread you opened about this exact same topic and told you to try nova launcher, it looks the exact same as the aosp launcher on the gnex.

That doesn't make any sense, you want to try port the launcher from the galaxy nexus and go to all that effort when all you have to do is download nova or apex or whatever.
What EXACTLY are you trying to do that is so different?

Need help

I wanna know what launcher or app the gs2 is running please let me know
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
I think the launcher is called: "post in q&a section not general!"
Hope this helps
Edit: In all seriousness, it's properly just ADW EX launcher with a custom homescreen grid and dock sizes.
The name could be Trebuchet, but im not sure.

Wow a question in the general section.
Can't say for sure but might be one of the Windows 7 launchers.
Have a look on the market and see if any look promising or search around for Windows 7 launchers.

Touchwiz Launcher for Jellybam

Can anyone point me to a touchwiz launcher apk I can use on the new 4.2.2 JB roms. The few I've tried are spaced out all crazy with the dock spacing. I am looking for 5x6 for the Note but nothing seems to work. Is it a AOKP issue?
This is what my current TW looks like on Jelly Bam

From everything I've used unless you use the 4x4 grid or change your phones DPI you are going to have spacing issues since to the best of my knowledge they are all based from the same S3 jellybean version of TW.

He made like 10 lock screens for his alliance rom..
Right now am using HTC lockscreen.. Its unbelievably hard to port to other lockscreens
It's been already ported
Try searching it in themes and apps section

Calendar 4x4 widget?

I just switched from a At&t Note 2 to a Verizon Note 2. I had a 4x4 calendar widget I used alot on my At&t Note. The Verizon Note doesn't have it available in the widget drawer.
Is there any way I can install this widget on my new phone?

Download Google calendar from the play store if you haven't already it has widgets....if you want a 4x4 specifically I would look through the play store calendar apps or just download nova launcher and google calendar so you can resize the widget to whatever you want
I installed Google calendar but it just gives me another 2x3 widget likt the one thats already there. There has to be a way to get the one I had.

This is my choices now.

Yeah absolutely know what you're saying....I would just download Nova Launcher because it let's you resize ANY widget to any size you want and it also let's you overlap widgets so you can maximize space on your home screen...I love nova launcher because it let's you resize any widget to whatever you want it to be without any distortion but if you don't want to use a launcher then I would suggest googling and seeing if someone has extracted that specific widget....if not...then that's what has to be done

Okay, it says you have to be rooted but I tried to install anyways but iy keeps failing. Any way to get around this?
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
No way around not being rooted. Imo just root and install an international based rom like ACE 4.9. Verizon butchers their rom way to much.

I like having a month view calendar widget in that size as well but also like using aftermarket launchers. The best option I have found is jorte calendar.

[MOD][REQUEST]Galaxy S5 launcher simple mod

Hello dear XDA. I want to request a simple galaxy s5 launcher mod. I want the stock galaxy s5 launcher but I want the app grid to be 4x5 just like as on the original s5. I don't want auto rotation or anything else, just stock galaxy s5 grids for home screen and app drawer, thanks in advance!!!
