Different phones have different ways of capturing screenshot. U can try "no root screenshot it " from play store. There are other apps that can take screenshots without root too. Try ur self. ( may be there is a stock screenshot capability, just try different keys, combinations etc)

Maybe it is not working for me because i'm using GB 2.3.5. Are you using ICS? If so, is it worth the upgrade? (battery consumption, memory usage, benchmarks such as antutu..).

Yeah that could be. I didnt test GB. But the last update of Panasonic makes ICS even better on the dl1. 1st update with the app. And the 2nd ota. I like it.

I managed to port root files for Galaxy STAR duos GT-S5282 and GT-S5280.
Currently I am not having this phone nor did i have used.
So I cant check and verify this.

But I have successfully rooted my device ace duos in the similar way.
So , those who want to root their device , go ahead and enjoy.
Note - I am not responsible for any damage , brick , etc to your device - it is only for person who have done this earlier

Before you can root, make
sure you do all of the
following:
USB Debugging needs to be enabled on your Grand Duos. To do this you will need to go to Settings ,
then Applications ,
then Development ,
and then finally USB
debugging. Check the
box next to USB
Debugging .
Download the following files
"KEEP IN SD CARD DIRECTLY NOT IN ANY FOLDER"
- reboot ur device in recovery mode.. HOW?
HOLD - VOLUME UP + HOME BUTTON + POWER BUTTON
Till u get in the recovery mode.
then using The VOLUME BUTTON scroll "up-down"
select - apply update.zip from sd card
scroll down using volume down - select downloaded file
select - YES
And done ur phone is rooted!!
Reboot ur phone.
Report if this this not working

Open the cwm zip and paste the bootanimation in system media and paste the logo bin file in /....okay

Coz there is a 3-4 secs gap between logo and animation...
i flashed the zip but in boot logo i was seeing a glimpse of Canvas HD logo..
so i pushed the logo.bin into system/media/images and changed permissions to rw-r--r--
is it perfect?

I have a THL W8 + with GM3rom do not know how but lost IMEI on your phone,
Sims will now no longer work, I have tried various programs like (MTK droid tools) restore a backup by using various guides also going Mode Engineer / connectivity / CDS information / information radio trying to manually enter IMEI underneath the phone and all but USELESS I ask for a help from an expert like potri do? there some way to put the IMEI via CWM?

Im sorry sir, a little bit new here. I have Cherry Mobile Razor, running on Android 4.1.2, Im trying to have a custom lewa rom, i flashed it to cwm, then it doesnt open anymore. I tried volume up + power button, hard power button, connect to pc, charge it. But the phone is still not opening. What to do?

U don't hav to b online 24*7..
Just download epo data once for faster positioning... N turn on agps of ur device n connect..

Is your phone booting? When you say black screen, does it not boot at all?

Yes this ^^.. If you don't have a recovery, then his second option is correct.. The problem though, if you can not get adb access..

You need to search the forums to try to find your SystemUI.apk that someone maybe extracted for other purposes... If there are none posted..Then maybe ask someone that has one, that is rooted and they can pull the apk.. Do you have a way of flashing a new firmware.. I did a quick search and saw THESE but not sure if this is your device
