Hi Everyone,
I know this is kinda a old but until now we dont have WP7 Wannabe rom yet for x8.So here,I present a WP7 Themed Rom based on GingerSnap-LGp500 v1.3.0 by SHINxLIEW,the most successful Roms Porter in our x8 community.

So..Guys,The End is coming.Now Im satisfied enough with my MangoX8 and Here is my latest and Final version of GingerSnap-Mangox8.Thanks for everybody support:fingers-crossed:

FEATURE
- Much same as GingerSnap-LGp500 except the LG stuff
-WP7 Free apps with basic U/I(Advance features can be enable in a full version)
-HomeButtonEndCall by Me(Use Spare part to enable back Home function)
WHAT CHANGE IN FINAL VERSION
-Update with latest Free Launcher7(v1.1.13.2),Messaging Metro Beta(v0.722) & WP7 LockLite(v1.0.6)
-Replace CM7 phony with ShenduOs Phony style-transparent background(screenshot)
-Replaced android keyboard(Latin_ime) with WP7 keyboard style (screenshot)
- build in integrate with HTC keyboard(just download Apk & install)
-Replace Gallery 3D with QuickPic for fast & Smooth pic browse
-Flashlight & MIUI Compass added for emergency usage
-Remove some unused & unrelated apk with WP7 style(lightweight rom a bit)
PATCH FOR ALFS & ROM REQUIREMENT
-Please visit GingerSnap-LGp500 OP for the detail
MANGOX8 INSTALLATION GUIDE(IMPORTANT:Need a Based Rom to have it fully working)
1.Download GingerSnap-LGp500 Rom & MangoX8 Rom(Link Below) and Place it in Your SD
2.Install GingerSnap-LGp500 Rom(Follow Installation Step in OP)
3.In Gingersnap-LGp500 rom,no need to change anything-just run it for a while
3.Boot in CWM >install zip from SD & Install MangoX8 Rom Without any Wipe
4.On first Boot if u have problem with WP7Lock, Reboot one more time
5.Follow every step below & you will be fine
IMPORTANT THING TO DO AFTER FIRST BOOT IN MANGOX8(Do It by Step)
*The Rom will slow a bit at first start up and It will become fast & smooth after that.So be patient while do all these step
1.Activate Perfect Task Switcher as default & Home Key as key shortcut(wait a little bit until some icon at status bar appear before apply it)
2.Activate Laucher7 as default laucher(wait about 15 seconds before Create Tiles)
3.Enable back Home button functions by Spare Parts>End Button Behavior>Go to Home
4.Maximized Launcher7 performance by go to Settings>CM Settings>Performance>Check Lock home in memory And head back to Launcher7>menu>enable caching.But remember to update cache everytime u install a new apps or ur apps wont shown on drawer
5.Activate WP7 Notification & make sure to do it after enable back Home button function(Step #3)or u will stuck in the apps.
6.Google Play freeze by default,unfreeze it in Link2sd
7.Lastly, Change wallpaper to WP7 wallpaper as attached below

BUGS/LACKS & SOLUTIONS
-WP7 Lock FC after reboot,enable back manually
Solution:Upgrades to WP7Lock Prov1.1.1 +(Link provided Below #5)
-Fm Radio not working
Solution:Use Spirit FM.Follow my Guide HERE
-System Lockscreen(CM7) not activate
Solution:Not so Important since its not match with WP7 theme.Just be happy with WP7 Lock or install WidgetLocker as alternative
-Cant use other tones/mp3 as a ringtones
Solutions: Download & Install tonepicker.apk HERE

-Retheme may reduced stability & performance.Aspect those in this rom
-Please dont disturbs SHINxLIEW with this rom bugs(if u find any except the writes above,reported & we will figured a way to solved it

EXTRA CORNERS
i. Customizing Yours Launcher7 Tiles
1.Its Recommence upgrades to latest Launcher7(link above #1)
2.Go HERE,download & ectract the pack in one folder>copy to ur SD
2.In launcer7 Drawer, pick any apps that u want have tiles in homescreen by long pressed at apps icon>pin to homescreen
3.customised options will appear,
-set Tiles size>2x1 tiles(horizontal)
-Icon>Custom icon
-Custom icon options>Bitmap type>Bitmap from SD>Select image from SD>in PicViewer find the folder that u extracted before &tap on chosen image>back
-Go to Extra option>2x1 tile without bar if u want small apps names
-Lastly, Click to add tile & ur new tile will appears in homescreen

use WidgetLocker instead M/L.Google to get one.Themes is in here and tutorial how to apply em in here

am i to consider this theme /lockscreen mod as hvga?
because they do no look like it
and if its not hvga does it require re-sizing or it works anyways?

the forums have "original android development section " separately marked for original development
themed,tweaked roms i guess arnt a issue in normal development section

I think the theme will suite any screen size.no need to resizing.I download & install to my phone w/out any prob.

shadik,brate,drag si mi ali pricas previse.pusti moderatorima foruma da odluce di ce staviti koji ROM.
pridruzio si se forumu jun.2011,i u to kratko vrijeme uspio nabiti 81 "thanks" bez ikakvog korisnog opceg poznatog naslova.
-kazem ti,nemoj spamat forumjer su te neki upozorili!
stop spaming threads,and report bugs or comment something about the rom which is very WP7-like.i like it,would even be better if stock kernel would support it
