the volume of my speaker is good in any application but on Call is very low, any idea?

Is it voip calls? Cause it will also depend on your current internet connection speed/strength if it is voip.

Not voip. Normal network service

volume
check the system settings when your phone is turned up side down, it might be feature that call volume will be low

Which ROM are you running?
Cause in FXP130 CM10 there is a bug that all calls automatically go to the rear speaker.
And if you then listen to it while holding your phone like you should (screen against face), it sounds like the volume is very low.

How to decrease the volume of the XDA phone?

PLZ can somebody help?
i have the ROM version 3.17.03 ENG,Radio version: 4.12.00
My problem is concerned with the volume of the xda when, having a call. At the moment it is to the minimum but still it is so loud that people hear my conversations 10meters away. Does somebody know a way to decrease the volume more than ordinary?
You arent inadvertently switching on handsfree by holding the green telephone button for too long are you, I wish I could get more volume, I have too low audio unless I switch in the handsfee mode, and then the caller gets "echo" on voice.
Same here cruisin-thru except for the "echo" part.
no, i don't hold the green key and still it is very loud (not as loud as the handsfree mode) but it is still very loud.
same problem on elfin
any idea?? solution

[Q] quiet speaker

I use MiniCM9-3.0.4 ROM and the speaker is too quiet while I'm calling. I didn't find answer in MiniCM9-3.0.4's thread.
Anyone have any solutions to fix this problem?

I haven't tried headphones yet. I'm surprised that this problem isn't more discussed in MiniCM9-3.0.4 thread..
It is a known bug, the audio lib have to be remade. It will be fixed in the coming release if nAa gets them working
TIP: Initially the volume during call is already high, if u press the volume up/down button during a call ul get dropped to a low volume n u can hardly hear anything. So avoid pressing the volume buttons during a call. If u did just reboot the volume during call be normal again. I hope that gives u a temp fix

It is discussed at length, it just isn't in the faq yet, but you can press volume-down to get more volume when you're in a call. I know it doesn't make sense, but the working of the volume buttons is actually reversed, so pressing volume-down will increase the volume, and pressing volume-up will decrease it.

In-Call Volume too loud (question before returning it)

Hi,
i have one question before i return my phone.
Android in general is quite useless for serios music listening and so on because you need to root your phone to unleash the real audio potential or install 3rd party apps to controll the volume.
So far so bad. If you install fine volume control you're able to adjust volume in 1% steps. Besides the ugly interface it doesn't affect the call volume on the earpiece.
Every Android except Galaxy Ace with Android 2.3.5 is way too loud on the lowest volume regarding phone calls. The minimum volume for phone calls on the HTC One X+ is 20% as media could be turned down one more or two steps.
Why on earth is the in-call volume not better manageable?

This was brought up in your previous thread. There was no reason to post it a second time. I believe the consensus there was install another ROM or return the phone.

[Q] Q: In-call sound volume Johnnyslt's CM10.1 ROM

Hy, I have very annoying problem. When I call someone the in-call sound is on max and when I try to reduce it it says that's already on minimum so I have to push volume up until animation says it's maximum and then volume down and then in-call sound volume goes down. Each call is the same. When somebody calls me then it's all ok.
It's just me or..? Does someone knows how to repair this?

Baseband version: 11.77.3504.00U_11.25.3504.06_M
I dont have a fix for this but I want to warn you that prolonged loud sound on earpiece can damage it. My own earpiece got fried cause of this and now i have to use earphones to attend a call.

[Q] After CM10.1.3 update call/msg volume too loud!

Everything was working pretty good then I went from 10.1.3 RC to final 10.1.3 and now my voicemails play back at max earhole volume which might as well be speakerphone volume and my call volume in the earhole is also maxed out.
What in tarnation is goin' on around hear!?
Of course I checked the volume settings and all sounds are down to the lowest option. Pressing volume down during message playback and calls does nothing.
It is so bad I cannot have phone calls or listen to vm at work because the volume exceeds the allotted personal space cube dweller decibel acceptance threshold.
Help!
