The title says it all guys...What are your favorite ROM's for this phone?
I've tried a few of the ROM's on here but new ROM's are always being made.
I wanna pick a good one to last me a while...one that's lite, smooth, fast, and has great battery life. Any ideas?
I'm currently running flex360's Stock with Goodies 1.75 and its by far the best to me so far....
Personally running MEANROM currently (newest).. I was just running Clean DE over the weekend and that worked really well (great battery life) but I like Sense too much. I guess besides MEANROM my other daily driver would be OMJ's
Viper is/was a great ROM, just out-dated - can't wait for new venom release.
MeanROM for me as well.

Been using MeanROM here since about a week after getting my phone. Great ROM and the Dev is very active.
I used and liked MEAN ROM
but I recently tried OMJ's HTC ELTE V1.3 Odex
and I think I'm keeping OMJ's for a while since my phone seems to like it better,
I get better battery life and performance.
Mean Rom right now. I would much prefer Cyanogen Mod but as of now I'm having problems with them as a daily. Besides that the CM Roms don't have LTE so I can use it once I get LTE.

If the Talk app worked in Rejuvenated, it would be perfect. No Sense, killer battery life and stability.
That said, the next best I've found is Fresh.
Flex's stock w/goodies. Insane battery life, heavy user and get home at night with over 20%. I did use Fresh with the OG Evo and didn't have any complaints.
I've heard so many good things about MeanROM that I'm gonna go ahead and switch over to that. I'm currently using Charmeleon ROM, buuuuuut apparently that ROM has been abandoned by it's developers.

What do you keep the process limit at in developer options?
I've been using CleanROM DE since I rooted and I haven't had any reason to flash another ROM.
Personally waiting on MAYHEM by steal25 and dased 14 till then running flex360 completely reded out

Chogardjr's Chaos Rom is working real sweet.
It's been all about MeanRom but now the new viper ROM was just released so I'm gonna give that a shot!!!
For those of you that are running FRESH... does it take care of the multitasking issue?
Is it still there with the FRESH ROM or not?
Loved FRESH on my EVO4G, but this multitasking issue is worrying me.
(Sitting on an upgrade between EVO LTE / SGS3)

Was using Viperrom but now using latest stock OTA deodexed version. The camera fix is mainly the reason. Eventually gonna go back to Viperrom once he makes one based off the latest OTA.
Synergy 318... < ----- best most stable rom out period.
Now I nearly myns roms getting close to being finished.....

Showdown with ShowDown Kernel2 because its fast smooth and great battery life.
I was running viperRom for a few weeks, but decided to give Virus a shot and absolutely love it. I'll probably jump back to Viper whenever the new release drops to see what kind of changes were made.
I'm on vipermod right now but am interested in synergy but I'm a little intimidated..I didn't understand half of the tweaks that were in the op and i don't know how to flash nightlys ..I don't have a desktop so I'm not sure if you need one to.flash the updates ..only way i know is to download right to my phone, put on root of SD and flash ..anyone with synergy how do you flash nightlys and can you do it right from your phone

I have been wanting to flash but the damn phone is just running too good in all aspects and I have it right where I want it. Some days I secretly hope I could find an issue/bug that would give me a valid reason.....

Got my new evo 3d not long ago. Now need help deciding on a ROM. I'm currently on LeeDroid with sense disabled and go launcher. However it's not as stable as i would like with a couple of reboots and audio skipping issues. Battery life leaves much to be desired too. Any ROM out there that's any better?

Simple MIUI Stable although there is no 3d or 4g and adding boot manager so you can have a sense in case you need 3g is the best setup ever and better battery life as well..
im running mean rom its pretty stock but running good.

i would prefer stock Android but there's very few options available. it's a shame as this is pretty good hardware.

MeanROM v0.6 is the way to go - I started with version 4 all the way to 6. The developers of this ROM are absolutely doing great job.
Once you root your new toy try a ROM called Blackened from Team-Nocturnal. It is insanely fast and the battery life is amazing. If you don't like it, simply flash another ROM. Good luck

Viper ROM 2.5 or Synergy
I keep going back to senseless ROM, with the anthrax kernel. There is only one thing that bugs me about it, that is that you have to unlock your screen before you can see who is calling you. But otherwise it is fantastic. I also run Adw launcher.
I DD Viper. It's stable and thats what I need.
Im not really looking for spin offs of the stock rom, I picked up this phone yesterday and just got root going so im looking for any and all roms where everything works, preferably a asop build if there is one, (when i say everything I include 3d, camera, and wimax as i live in a 4g area) any advice?

You're not going to find an AOSP ROM with everything working, because there isn't one yet. I would suggest viper ROM, clean ROM, or mean ROM. I have been on viper lately and it runs great on my device.

flawless, and tons of performance tweaks...
or steelROM v.2.72....... i would say 2.73 but some people are having little issues with it so wait a little bit for steel and those guys to iron that issue out, but that ROM is always flawless as well.

bro I'm just gonna give it to you straight up here.... you can "tweak" any ROM. just try a few of them out because everyone's opinion will be different and more importantly they will be different than yours. give those two a shot in mentioned and go from there

Best ROM out there is anything by Mik... I'm hoping he comes out with an ICS build when the OTA drops.
Seriously, though, this is all opinion. All the ROMs currently out are great and have a lot of support. None of them are really any noticeably better than the other in performance or battery from what I've seen. It all seems to be just what skin/theme you prefer.
But honestly it's whatever you like haha
KINGCOBRA 3D with HTC SENSE 3.0 & Android 2.3.4 is the best i have tried so far for HTC EVO 3D GSM. Offers a lot of customizability...

Dude, why don't I see Leedroid here?!?! I think Leedroid ROM is the best out there, but everyone is free to their opinion. His ROM is certainly the most used rom in the ROM section, so I think a lot of people would agree. I've been using Leedroid ROMs since I had my EVO 3D for a week and never changed it to anything else. This ROM perfectly suits my needs and with the latest (Final) version the battery life is EXCELLENT! But honestly, you should try some ROMs and see for yourself which you find best. Happy flashing
If you're CDMA, use ViperROM combined with Chad's sense kernel @ 1.5Ghz for speed and stability.

MeanRom is pretty nice, I am going to stick with it until the ICS Roms get worked out.
atm im using mean rom ics and just because it has sense 3.6 and ics and has everything working but im looking for a bit more to charge my baby to full potential
I'm gsm and using mwakious 3D rom, it's awesome.. The battery life, no major bugs, and it's fast, that's all i need..

I'm using mean rom ics as well and noticed it to be kind of sluggish. I have almost every widget that is available in my list on the homescreen too, that might be decreasing the speed, but that is how I measure how fast the ROM is. I would recommend downloading TB (titanium backup), back up Apps Only, and start flashing my friend. There are a few other threads in this Evo3D forum asking similar questions...just do some searching. "Best rom, favorite rom, etc."
Newts rc3 on 1.5 s on with 4ext. Runs like a champ, sleeps like its had way too much ambien. No reason to downgrade or mod for s off, it runs great with very few problems (if any at all).

D3rp ROM, because it is packed with Drama.
Newts sense 4.0 rc3. I've tried other ice cream sandwhich roms but there's something about sense 4.0. everything that I need works and there's no reason.for me to switch.

MEAN ROM gb 4.3.. i love this rom.. nothing has been solid enough to get me to switch.. its hellA fast.. super stable.. and battery life with dodava's 5.4 kernel is off the hook!!! for real.. i get the best battery life with that combo
all i can say is i love sense 4. try newt's 3.0 if you haven't already, it's great. don't try joelz right now, it has a huge bug on most/some phones that sucks as much battery as possible to turn the phone into a welding iron. if you want something all-working, 100% d3rp rom is the best out there.
Mean Rom and d3rp Rom have always felt slow to me... It's not nearly as smooth as ZR3DX or inbREDed Rom, which are my two favorites so far. I'm running MikVirgin and it's actually really nice...
I use d3rp ROM for 3.6 plus I love the themeing. Then I alternate between sense 4.0 occasionally.

No reason to not have everything work.
It is more stable than my stock rom on EVO 4G LTE.
Whichever ROM doesn't have both cores enabled and set to a high idle speed for whatever reason. Doesn't leave me with much. Maybe Cool Sense is promising.
ok just switched my favorite to joelz rom. so smooth.... so crazy smooth.... sense 4 great battery life. just make sure to flash superuser bcuz for some reason it's borked
I have for the moment settled with SOS M VER 1.9. It is smooth. Great battery life. Allows you to customize your rom at installation itself. Combines AOSP and sense 3.6. I have ICS AOSP dialer and contacts on sense. Very nice. You can configure to get the best of both sense and Stock ICS AOSP.
Another vote for MeanRom. I'm using 1.9 with sense 3.6. Great stable rom.
