After i flashed Paranoid Android rom v1.95a on to my S2 everything is ok except the lockscreen it has a TV effect while turning the screen off but whenever i was checking the time i lock the phone it will have a little bug its like when i pressed the power button once the lockscreen came out and i locked it back and it will go black after that lockscreen appear agn for like 1 sec n disappear i have no idea whether isit the TV effect problem or isit my phone .
If can i would like to disable the TV effect lockscreen .Help Thanks.

Try going to System Settings/Developer Options and set Window Animation Scale to .5x that desabled the CRT off for me.
After I change the windows animation scale to .5 now is when I lock Den will have the bug but before that it was when was at the lock screen den I got the bug

It wasn't a bug, it is a feature called CRT off effect. For current CM10 the "feature" wasn't working so well, so sometimes it appear and sometimes it don't.

Since ics, multiple one touch lock screen widgets dont work properly. The led will flash and the it goes to the lock screen and times out with some, and with others it stays on a very low ambient type mode. Any one else? Any suggestions, i love one touch to lock the screen, damn first world problems

I just turned off the lock screen, hardly needed since there are only soft buttons on the front of the device, and it's unlikely the power button would be accidentally pressed in one's pocket. Then i used a cool app called screen off and lock, it even has crt effect.
Another quick post from me.
Does anyone know why the fade in/out effect doesn't always work when the lock button is pressed on Stock Touchwiz ROMs? It works fine on the S2 but only sometimes takes effect on the S3. It's a strange issue but it's a niggle that irritates me and I'd like if I could fix it.
Also, is there a way that I can change the lock animation on Stock, like to the lock animation that Stock JB/ICS has with the TV like effect?

I got a problem because on lock screen (screen off) when i get notification (sms or app notification or something) i have the sound but the screen is not turning on.
Also if i turn on screen then i don't have any notification shown on lock screen.
is this a bug or that's normal? i had some android phones before and they were cool but it's weird here

I get the same issue, but it's only when I lock the screen with the app open. if i'm on my homescreen everything is back to normal.
think its interesting when u turn ur screen off u see the middle turn black first then the edges turn black
it's call lock animation
and I like the retro TV animation better, only if I can change it
i knew there was an unlock animation, didnt knw there was a lock one too.
thought it was just the way the panel works
Ok so my android version is 5.1.1 (non-rooted) and recently i changed my wallpaper. However, i've noticed that upon changing my wallpaper the lockscreen now dims. I have already tried to trick in which you set to swipe, and it does work momentarily, but returns back to dimming when i change back to any other lock type such as fingerprint. Please help me figure out how to make it so the lockscreen doesnt dim the wallpaper anymore WITHOUT having to root my phone. FYI, my auto brightness is off, and I have already tried turning my device on and off

OMG this question still hasnt been answered, and many like it have been asked years ago. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TAKE THE TIME AND ANSWER the question of ages .
