HI O1 users KDZ is bricking a lot of phones around here i hope this guide and files i provide help avoid that.
to learn how to use LGMDP use this guide and read it more than once if necessary:

Now when you need to flash recovery ,baseband ,system or all partitions use LGMDP not KDZ
the safest way so LGMDP dont touch NV file that can result in a useless phone you guys put phone in emergency mode and conect to pc and LGMDP
following the guide above "Click Image Folder button" you choose the folder i provide with V20I to flash by LGMDP and if your phone already have custom recovery, just uncheck the recovery.img after you select path and all partitions that will be flashed appears, so you flash a stock firmware unrooted but with custom recovery already...

hope this help avoiding bricks but use LGMDP with phone in emergency mode is more safe because dont toutch NVFILE but you can do it by normal way if are already using the software

No this rom dont have brazilian or pt lang but you have some zips of stock like 20g that have brazilian from here

I m afraid of using kdz updater as i bricked my phone once with it.
Now my question is can i use lgmdp instead of kdz updater.
Like i will use "LG-Utils-0.4.2" to extract dz file from stock kdz file,
and use "DZDecryptor" to extract all files from dz file.
Now using Lgmdp and selecting the folder of extracted files from dz file.
Then pressing download.
Will it do the trick, i mean will it erase custom recovery, install stock rom and bring my phone back to warranty.

Yes you can, its the same, in fact i think its better because you can choose to uncheck recovery and that way you can keep your custom recovery
And i think even there will not be any risk of corrupt kdz files bcoz corrupt kdz files will not be extracted
My OV only boots into emergency mode anyone has a fix for this? Its the original one

You can use LGDMP software to flash a rom or burn a custom recovery such as clockworkmod. Also you can flash stock DZ rom.(you have to extract KDZ rom to get the DZ ).

Hello,
Yesterday I've downloaded official software update for LG Optimus L9 P760, my phone is rooted. So, phone restarted and boom it stuck into CMW Recovery mode. I've tried everything I found on internet, I have used exitrecovery.zip file USERUI recovery zip, I even used other rom. I can't connect phone to pc I don't know why, but when I do my pc recognizes it as an unknown device. Please if some one can help me I would be very, VERY grateful. Thank YOU
Hello, it's the same problem like i had.
The phone needs the stock recovery to install official firmware updates.
You have to flash the stock firmware with the offline kdz flashing method and then update it via device or just download the new kdz and flash it. Then you have to root your phone again and voila everything is fine.

Could You write step by step what I must do? I have simmilar problem like artcisx and You. KDZ doesn't see my p760 when I try flash stock firmvare because phone still is in clockworkmod recovery.

It was easier that I thought.
I have extracted the original recovery.img from KDZ, then using fastboot I reflashed the recovery and BOOM. IT IS WORKING

I think you should flash the stock firmware
ok, but how? I currently have twrp not a stock recovery. from what I read to reflash stock rom, should have stock recovery because at trwp can not be done. I understand that as a stock firmware You understand the stock rom? or maybe something else?

No worries, I'll help you regardless of in which section your thread resides.
So, to flash the UPDATE.APP, follow these steps:
First download the package from the link I provided.
Extract it, and find UPDATE.APP
Now you have to extract the stock recovery from UPDATE.APP using Huawei UPDATE Extractor tool.
After pulling recovery.img you have to flash it to your device via bootloader.
Boot into bootloader mode and flash the recovery by firing this command:

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Now you have Stock recovery installed.
I hope you are on Lollipop only, if your device was rooted, you have to first flash .img files manually and then force update it via UPDATE.APP.
If your device is not rooted then put the UPDATE.APP in dload folder in your External SDCARD, and press the three button combo after switching off your device, the update process will start then.
I hope this clears something.

No, you can flash them in any sequence. It doesn't effect in any way.

i hve update my device huawei ATH-TLOOH,but when i try to reflash it through bootloader,it show error(Unlock frp first)

how to restore Deleted CUST folder without root ?
1-i have locked bootloader H850 non EU version .
2-i tried root under android 7 but failed
3-downgraded to 6.0.1 and root ok
but no SD Card, No Camera
4-so decided to revert to stock ,but uppercut coudn't detect my mobile (unknow model)
5-i searched and found a solution via deleting CUST folder (via adb root shell commands)
6-i flashed stock android 6 and 7 for my mobile (AME region) (used before)..
bit ORANGE CARRIER RELATED apps found on my mobile !!!! AND NT-CODE issues MSG on booting !!
what can i do... no root , no bootloader unlock, deleted CUST Folder..

maybe because i tried LG flash tools with board D/L option with some dz file !
anyway ,, reverting back to H85020f_00_ORG_COM_OP_0424.kdz with no NTCODE issues ,waiting for full root with twrp ...

but it seems branded to Spain-orange !!!!!

Flash back to 6.0 root and install twrp. Then flash complete open eu 7.0 zip. From autoprime xda thread

Im having a zip which restores deleted cust folder in nougat rom. Originaly zip is made to be flashed on fulmics rom.
You can find that zip in my this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/how-to/rooted-stock-based-rom-volte-fix-t3564924 use it at your own risk

but flashing process failed ,stucked on MiniOS ,

no problem, I was not sure will it help others as well so I sent you an PM, glad it works for you too. Anyway after flashing this H85020f_00_ORG_COM_OP_0424.kdz my phone remain Europe Open without any bloatware from ORG.
