Gradient colours screen - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I`ve just bought my Galaxy S3 (I9300) and after some playing around I noticed that the colours/ texture on some screens "don`t look right"
What I mean is for example the dark screens (settings, notifications) start to loose their colour and texture towards the bottom of the screen. You can see some horizontal "lines"
Also I`ve flashed a JB and if you scrooll to the edge of the wallpaper (let`s say to the left) the grean/ yellow etc colours don`t look as sharp as on the main screen.
I don`t understand. Is it me or my phone?

[Q] Horizontal White Lines

Hi, when i turn off my auto brightness and set it to low and the background is white , i can see 2 strange horizontal lines in it.
Should i send to custumer support ? or maybe its normal ?
When brightness is on medium or high it disappears.
Could be because of custon kernel or Rom ?
I take a picture tho show.

I have read that AMOLED screens have several flaws that are imperceptible, an example are screens with yellow

[Q] Please help me decide if my screen is flawed (dark colors turns dark green)

Please look at the picture http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/3360/img4165kv.jpg.
It shows my desktop wallpaper on SGS1 on the left and SGS2 on the right. The top left part of the wallpaper looks fine on SGS1 but it turns ugly dark green on SGS2. Please notice that the other colors (pink, light green etc) look very similar on both devices. I set the brightness on both devices on equal level. My SGS2's screen displays like this only dark colours, bright colours are fine. Similar thing happens in AOSP/CM9/10 settings panel to dark grey gradients - it turns kinda dark green and ugly.
Here's another example: http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/4066/img4166a.jpg. AnTuTu background on the SGS1 (left) doesn't look so dark.
Am I the only one experiencing the issue? Do your devices display equally bad dark colours as mine? Could you post photos of your CM9/10 settings panel or AnTuTu's main screen?

s6 edge amoled question

hi s6 edge is my first amoled phone and i noticed that while using it i could see sometimes white lines on gray backgrounds and after few seconds they will slowly become gray. is this normal for amoled?
i tested it by using the amoled burn-in fixer and the black line in the pic after pressing hide ui become a light shade of gray then slowly become gray

Sounds like a hardware defect; however, the picture you shared looks like the black line is just a UI element of that particular app.

yes it's part of the app but if i hide ui the screen becomes all gray but the black line a leaves white or lighter shade of gray line that slowly disappear after few seconds.
this happens even while browsing the internet and using apps white or light gray shades lines appear in other parts of the screen if i suddenly change the background to gray like my home screen.
it's like the pixels are delayed when changing from dark black colors to gray. now i changed my wallpaper to default so i don't notice it.
i tried to take pictures but i's not noticeable, my old phone camera it's not good.

Bluish tint and blurry resolution?

I noticed that my tab S3 has a little bit of bluish tint on all the screens and also the app icons as well as the screen don't seem to have clear resolution compared to my tab s2. I tried to play with different display settings and modes. The "adaptive display" mode has this bluish tint. Other modes gets rid of the tint but the colors don't seem natural. Display just doesn't seem to be as bright and sharp as the s2.
I thought this one was supposed to have the best screen and resolution.

Need informational help in editing sytemui.apk

Hi everybody!
Im looking for a file in systemUI.apk which sets a background dim when notification bar is expanded. For mebits reaaly annoying annnd it has a weird glich on the bottom of screen.
Now im using Xperia Z5 Compactz but i remember this screen dimming glich from z1 compact. I dont know maybe its specific sony device problem. Im not sure.
Maybe anybody knows which file i need to edit in systemui.apk to get rid of that dimming?
Because i think I only need to change some colour code to for example to fully transparent one to solve that dimming?
I made few short screen recordings ~15sec.
In screen record video take attention to the bottom of screen. When notification bar is fully expanded screens bottom gets darker like 2cm heigh. Its easy seen on white background video. But on black screen when i expand fully notification bar, screen bottom which is darker makes horizontal stripes on dark backgrounds.
1. White background video. Take attention to bottom. You can see darker bottom bar
2. Dark background video. Also in the bottom of screen there is dark music widget. Youtube cutted video quality. But you can still see, how dimmed screen on background create horizontal stripes/gliches. Dont know how to explain proper
