Green Camera! WTF - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

I used to use the camera normally,
A few days ago, the camera started to get like this:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks

It's a hardware problem, you will have to RMA. There are plenty of threads about this in Q&A.

Tolian at the Transformer Forums posted a procedure to get the camera going again. Wouldn't hurt to try.

Open your camera program. See bad green screen or something unrecognizable. Open Options. Change quality to 3 Mps. Change sides to 16/9. Turn focus to "far away" (not auto). Press by your finger to back camera with some power for 5-7 seconds. Move finger away. If it's - have a fun! If it's not - press again. Open Options. Change quality and sides back for your pleasure. When you make photos you can turn on "Auto focus", but when you turn off camera program you should change in options focus to "far away" (not auto). I hope it will be fixed in Andriod 4.0.4.

Portrait keyboard prefers "O" over "P"

Can someone else confirm this...
When using the portrait (small) keyboard when typing a text message, if I press the "P" button anywhere to the left of center (say the left 30% of the button), I get an "O" instead. It looks like the letter "O" will get pressed if you press anything from the left of the "O" button all the way to almost the middle of the "P" button. To get "P" reliably, I have to press the right half of the "P" button.
Is this by design? Is it supposed to favor "O" over "P"? Or is my tilted/rotated screen causing this?
Mike
Mine does it too, only with the O and the P.
me too..................

Some times my delete button registers as L. It happened with multiple keyboards.
Calibrating the Keyboard helps.
Yea always calibrate the keyboard It's helps. At first I was typing everything off and since It's been nearly perfect.

Perhaps the guy has big hands. But calibrating does do wonders,try it and let us know your results
I tried calibrating a half dozen times. It does help a tiny bit but not much: I still get a "preferred O". Plus: calibration only works for the stock keyboard and I prefer the Gingerbread Keyboard from the market.
Mike
Calibrating completely fixed it for me.
Yeah that fouled up Gingerbread Keyboard...meh.
LOL j/k
The Stock we have is just a refined/skinned version of it.

Everyone else has mentioned it, but I will too.
I've always calibrated the keyboard with a new phone or new ROM. The only disadvantage is when someone else uses it. My wife hates trying to type anything on it.

[Q] Video Player Displays Chapter numbers

When watching a film on my Galaxy S3 - using a file I copied from my desktop - the default Samsung video player displays the chapter number at the bottom of the screen like: Chapter 1
This isn't burned onto the video itself - watching the same video on my desktop show no such chapter display.
Is there a way of turning this off? There isn't an obvious option in the app itself.
Bump - no one else have this issue? I noticed a similar problem in the note 2 forum.
In case it's not clear what I mean, it looks like this:

This has got to be bugging someone else as well! Is there some sort of config file I can tweak?

Dude quit bumping...
This question has already been posted....
There's a setting in the video player itself if I remember correctly.
I searched for this before posting and couldn't find anything. I also sent ages searching through the options and also couldn't find anything.

Was bugging me too, and just figured out how to turn it off. Whilst playing the video in Video Player click the left soft button, go to Settings and the turn "Closed caption" off.

Shutter sound?

How do you turn off the shutter sound on the camera without silencing the phone? I cannot find it in the camera app.

Verizon doesn't give us the option to turn it off. I ended up using Tasker. If you search the forums others have mentioned other fixes they have used.

Theres an option to turn the shutter sound off. Open the camera, hit menu and open the settings menu, hit the gear on the far right for more settings and its near the bottom.

Thats only there if you have a custom rom or modified camera app
If you are rooted, go to /system/csc/feature.xml and change this to true (make a copy first in case it gets messed up):
<CscFeature_Camera_ShutterSoundMenu>true</CscFeature_Camera_ShutterSoundMenu>
Reboot and it will be in the camera menu.
My bad didnt think about that. Have been running synergy since the day I got my s4. Thanks tho.

Not rooted and running the latest vzw update, if I have my ring volume off (silent mode, and vibrate only) I get no shutter sound. Only way but it works.

HTC One X+ flashlight not working properly.

Hey guys,
Like temhe title says my flashlight isn't working properly.
When I updated my phone to Android 4.2.2 my flashlight isn't as good as it should be.
When I did this update my phone wasn't rooted, not bootloader unlocked but just the stock HTC One X+.
After a long time it started bothering me and I called HTC helpdesk. They told me I had to send it for reparation. And I was like: hell no! Because I just rooted it and didn't want to reverse everything just because of this flashlight.
Maybe you guys can help me out because I think it is software related.
Before the update it was working, after the update it went like this. (See picture)

Left one is mine, and the right one is from one of my classmates and he has the same phone. And the same software.
Any suggestions? No I'm not sending it back to HTC.

The left is yours?
What apps are you using to enable the flashlight?

On that time we both used the same build-in HTC Flashlight app. Though it looks like one of the lamps in it is broken since the light is coming from the bottem. :S

You can still check other flashlight apps. If nothing changes then it is a hardware issue.

Already did that, so it will be a hardware problem then..
Which means the update killed my Flashlight.

I am quite sure. I had sence 4 on it with Android 4.1.2 when I got the phone and after the update to 4.2.2 it stopped working properly.

Font/icons get blurry when scrolling

Cant believe that this is normal, but when I scroll, the font/icons become blurry. I googled about it and the only answer I found is, that old Amoled had this problem. But even my Galaxy S3 is crystal clear when scrolling. It's like a motion-blur effect in vertical direction when scrolling vertically.
Do you have this problem too? Actually it's one some of my old displays too, but I dont expect it on an IPS panel from 2016...
Try this
Settings/Developer Options/ Tick on "Force GPU Rendering" this should make your Android phone smoother/snappier!
If root available try L Speed/Entropy/fstrim apps found on Play Store!
LG G5 & LG V20 are snappy beasts and are well optimised with Snapdragon 820 and is better than Samsung.
Thanks for posting this standard answer again like you did before on another thread No this does not do anything, like I told you before. No it's not rooted, and trim does not affect how the display works. Are you even posting stuff you copy paste from somewhere else?

You see the double frames, in my oppinion the display just has not 60hz/fps or has horrible input lag / refresh timings.
