Would it kill you to spend a dollar or two to support the small, independent developers whose livelihood depends on sales of their applications? I'm not talking about giant software packages that costs hundreds of dollars. Just $1 applications for asdf's sake.

I think he's talking about free alternatives to paid apps not necessarily pirating apps. Pirating apps is illegal on xda.
But yes, angry birds is free and a paid version (no ads) will be available later.
@niko: it does.. it shows the power of the vibrants gpu power. This section consists of general apps too.

Angry Bird problems
I DLd the game from a mirror site but it's missing some colors on the levels which makes it a lot harder to play. Anyone else getting this problem? Rooted HTC Hero, Android 2.2.1, CyanogenMod 6.

I stopped using Amazons App Store when I found out they stole the name from Apple. Actually it was when all the free apps turned lame..
No doubt about the lame part. They used to have utilities and stuff (functional stuff that is). Now it is almost all crappy games with privacy concerns and horrific ratings. Every once in a while a decent game is listed, but not very often. There was a run on to-do lists. 'Cause having 50 to-do lists is pretty efficient right?

Yup I feel you. For 1 gameloft games were never optimized for tegra 3 but atleast with ICS some games were playable. Also with root you can install Chainfire 3d and made Nova 3 smoother. Cant use chainfire on JB now or youll soft brick it. Prime JB and Gameloft just dont mix.
Use "directory bind", move the data files into a fast microSD card and they will be playable again.

Damn, NOW I'm SO glad I'm still running ICS 4.0.3 on my Prime (and definitely no plan to 'down'grade to JB (yet) I only WISH I could get rid of this way-too-constant flickering screen issue in most, if not all, 3D games (any suggestions please, as that is REALLY driving me NUTS!!)
I successfully rooted my Prime the other night, but now I understand I have to make nvflash backups? Could one of the kind folk here point me in the direction of a thread that explains easily and clearly how to do that, please? The videos I've watched on YouTube are a little confusing. Car X Drift Race - Good game, if your a car enthusiast and like the drift scene. Takes a lot of time to get money for better cars but definitely great game to pass time keep a charger by you.
Smash Hit - it's a shooting game with obstacles every obstacle is glass tho so breakem. Those two games are only ones I play thus far.
