Wierd force closes on 4.1.1 - Android

Hey guys,
Recently I flashed my galaxy nexus from a yakjuux running 4.0 2 to yakju 4.0.4 then ota'd to 4.1 1. Everything is running fine however every now and then an app (particularly launcher but others have done it too) will force close on me. I'll go check the logcat app to see what happened but nothings in the log it starts again as if just booted. And as I said it's not only launcher, engadget (updated) will close and wipe my logs too. Has anyone else experienced this or know what is going?
Thanks in advance!

Usually doing an ota from a rooted rom will cause issues. You might have to re-root and flash a rooted 4.1.1 rom.

You have a bad download...and flash ...
Log into samfirmware.com and search your device....
I believe the tools menu will get you started on a clean download.
You can download a camera app from the market and see if it is the camera or the rom.

Good idea ranger ...it could be a device issue ..but with all the kies failures running around ...I went there first ...g
Try going to manage apps, camera, clear data and see if that clears it up.
My camera sometimes works
SOmetimes it will work for a span of 10 seconds. Sometimes 10 minutes it will work fine. Then all other times, If i try and load my camera it freezes. Warranty is up and still have to use phone for another year. Anyone know a fix.
Rom- Stock JellyBean flashed via kies
Recovery- Stock
-Have been rooted and ran custom roms.
Thanks for any help guys.
no luck...
Since CM10.1, I never had a good luck with camera. Now I am using CM11 and camera sort of work but no video cam.
(Not to mention, random reboots)
Any workarounds, smart guys?
Should I go back to CM10.0 or stock?

Please close, solved

I didn't want to start a thread like this but I'm having trouble finding info on this. My mother got a note and I want to get rid of touchwiz and poor jelly bean on so she can use Google now.
When I updated my sensation to jelly bean, the baseband had to be updated first to work with jelly bean. Does the note need among like that? Everything I could find for installing a job ROM has said to just flash.
Already rooted with twrp installed on stock 4.0.4
Got it all done

Stuck in bootloop after installing leaked 4.2.1 then removing it

Hey there
I installed a leaked 4.2.1 firmware but it turned out to be too buggy so I removed it and installed the stock 4.1.2 firmware which is I9300XXEMB5_I9300OXAEMB5_BTU however I get stuck in a bootloop after that. What do you think is causing the problem? I used to flash it using ODIN just fine but for some reason now I am in a bootloop. I was able to flash CWM and install Android Revolution HD and it's working but I'd like to go back to stock ROM without root or anything since a couple of friends of mine ended up with broken motherboards after being rooted for a while.
Would flashing this bootloader "bootLoader_XXEMB5.tar.md5" and then the stock ROM work? The 4.2.1 leaked ROM may have updated my bootloader or something.
Thanks!
You have to boot in recovery and wipe

Oh wow how could I miss that. Thank you so much. I just realized that I have a problem with the Messages application occuring on any ROM I install, so it's not a problem with the leaked 4.2.1 firmware but with my device. I am going to wipe the device and cache and reinstall 4.2.1 and see how that works out! Thanks again.

Screen artifacts/Graphical glitch

Greetings everyone,
Recently my girlfriends S3 started having these Screen artifacts/Graphical glitch and I have no idea what is causing it. I am hoping that someone would be willing to help me out on this, as I have yet to experience anything like this personally. She is rooted and running a custom Rom and kernel.
It seems to start after opening random apps, usually games. Rebooting seems to get rid of the problem. Her phone is not overclocked/underclocked and never overheats.
Her system setup is:
Rom: XXUGMJ9 NeatROM lite v5.3
Kernel: boeffla-kernel 5.1
Video can be found here of the problem.

Thanks for your response, but she had a previous version of neatrom without any issues for 7 months or so. I'll try reverting to a previous or another Rom but sock is too bloated and slow

[Q] Xperia t - after update to cm11 blue screen crashes

Hello,
I flashed my xperia t (using flashtool) with a stock firmware 4.3 that had cwm6.0.4 already with it. Then from the cm update options in settings i updated it to latest version of cm11 Nightly (20140430). I had also flashed gapps for 4.4 kit kat. Everything was working fine, but then it crashed with a blue screen and rebooted. Then it happened again and again like every 20/30 minutes. Last time it has happened, i was trying to change my background and the blue screen came up and rebooted. Does anybody know what the problem might be? I greatly appreciate your help.
Ok, I'm pretty sure i know what the issue is. I noticed that cm11 overclocked my processor to fastest available and that is what was crashing the phone. I think.
And this is related to aokp how?
