Hello Just curious if anyone has done any "accidental" drop tests on their Xperia Go and what are the results?
I am interested in purchasing one of those as a present - but want to know if it is Dust/Water AND Crash proof or just Dust and Water ?
Not going to toss it around - but just to have that in mind?

There is one on YouTube. If you search just for Xperia Go, then watch the one titled A1 Sony Xperia go Outdoor Challenge. They did a bunch of water, dust and crash tests. I believe it only failed when they ran it over with a car. :laugh:

agreed - however - that one looked more of an advertisement - they had a bunch of XG's and changed color from test to test. Also I didn't see a good drop on concrete floor test which is what normally happens in real life ...

Could anyone plz port this for mini pro?
I know work is going on here to port xperia s music player for mini pro, but this looks more like a cosmetic mod.
The mod for neo also has functional elements like clearbass, surround in equalizer, option to edit tag etc.
Be patient, and that which involves around 79% will be good for you too.

Well, there's no factor that determines the exact percent...
And life's busy, I have to study a lot, finishing primary school in June etc. Otherwise I'd probably work more on it.
And we don't know how to edit smali.

from this xperia u is looking batter but one thing is that its not going to be updated to android 4.1 or 4.2... that thing is confusing me....

but main disadvantage in Xperia U .u get only 4gb of user available memory....
by taking that point i told u to xperia go....
I would go for the Xperia Go, it seems really sturdy.

What is really anoying me is that you said you will buy the phone for a friend.. So.. it doesn't matter if it is water resistant, cause you are not going to have a shower with the phone, or swim with sharks in the sea.

very "ugly" if use Clipon batery. XP will be fatter.
Wont ever happen in my opinion seeing as the micro usbport is on the side, it would be quite hard to put this on i think, and you'd risk damage, but maybe im wrong.

When I buy a phone it's a phone first of all the come the extras.
If you use a headset it may not be a problem

Just 4 you to know it's will be extremely expensive to order it from amazon or any other store and I will pay more fees to get it in egypt
so it will be about 2400 egyptian pounds and no warranty and will not give me the gaming quality i want
My Z2 arrives tomorrow (Tuesday) and I'd love to get a tripod mount for it similar to the Joby Griptight, which unfortunately only accepts phones up to 72mm in width.
Anyone got a mount that they're using successfully?
