Can we use TV out on HTC Flyer by RCA AV TV adapter Cable ? - HTC Flyer, EVO View 4G

I am a user of HTC Flyer and I have done some research on connecting it with TV . I know that it is possible threw MHL adopter and HDMI cable. But what I am saying is that can it be possible threw RCA AV TV adapter Cable. I want to know that if it will support internally because physically I think it is possible. Here is how :-
1. First we will connect HTC Flyer threw OTG cable (Micro-USB to Standard USB Female cable).
2. Then we can connect OTG cable (Standard USB Female Port) to USB Male A to 3 RCA AV A/V TV adapter Cord Cable.
3. Then 3 RCA Port to A/V TV.
Has any body thought of it. Can it be possible. Please reply. I think this will change my way of using HTC Flyer if it is possible.
Please suggest.

i am not sure i get what you think is possible, but converting DIGITAL to ANALOG signals require a converter outside your flyer for this to be possible, so its not all cabling solutions you think you need here. the cable you think of is pure analog reception, and digital cables are pure 0 and 1's

cable connect to projector or screen?

is there any cable can let blackstone connect screen or project??
I'm affraid not. The Touch HD doesn't have video out capabilities
did the ExtUsb have the ability?
it should be able to do that
HTC manufactures Windows Mobile-based Communicators and the T-Mobile G1 which have a proprietary connector called HTC ExtUSB. The ExtUSB combines mini-USB (with which it is backwards-compatible) with audio/video input and output in an 11-pin connector

[Q] MHL cable compatability?

I just found a MHL cable for the SGS2 on Amazon with Micro-USB to HDMI.
I have a Samsung HDTV bought about a year ago. Now i know that MHL means you can charge as well as view the phone stuff on the screen but MHL TVs have not released yet (i think, and even if they have i wont be getting one anytime soon).
So my question is can i still see the TV out if i use the MHL cable on my older TV? I know it definitely wont charge.
Anyone?? :S
yes you can.
all you need is the adapter from MHL (micro-USB) to HDMI, connect the HDMI to the TV and you are good to go.
the advantage of the original samsung adapter is the ability to connect a power cable to the adaptor and charge the phone while it transmits the picture to the TV.
hope i helped
Thanks mate
For anyone confused, an MHL cable is a Micro USB to HDMI cable - no ifs, no buts, this will transmit HDMI from a compatible MHL port. Nothing else needed (except I believe it must also be connected to power)
Your micro USB port on the bottom of your SGS2 is an MHL/USB port, and will therefore work.
Important to note is that not all micro USB ports are also MHL ports, therefore will not necessarily work on some other micro USB port on a different phone.

How to connect S2 to the TV set without HDMI?

Hi guys,
I ve got a HDMI adaptor and cable for my S2 and it is working fine on the TV with HDMI, just wondering if I can connect S2 to the telly without HDMI socket?
There is no cable for that. Or use an HDMI cable with a DVI converter on top of it?
Google for HDMI to composite. There's loads of cheap leads to do this.

I am also trying to find how to cheaply connect S2 to a crt tv with either scart or composite RCA - does't look possible without high cost below taken from a web site but not allowed to post link as I'm a new user!:
HDMI To Composite Cable is sought by many people nowadays. People who have old technology equipments try to connect them with brand new HDMI-ready devices. Most old devices are using either composite cable, analog cable, or S-Video cable.
HDMI To Composite CableSome people think that they are able to convert the digital signal from HDMI end to several analog signals in the other end. The truth is, while you clearly can connect wire-to-wire, which simply won’t work. There is no possible solution to convert digital to analog signal without using a converter box. When you see HDMI To Composite Cable sellers claim to be able to convert the digital to analog signal directly without a converter box, they mostly scam and don’t work.
So, is it possible to convert the digital signal to analog signal? The answer is yes, but you can’t use a simple HDMI To Composite Cable. You need a converter box. It will do the conversion from digital to analog without a breeze. You may find them on the market labeled as HDMI To Composite Converter, HDMI To S-Video Converter, HDMI To 3 RCA Converter, HDMI To 5 RCA Converter, HDMI To Composite 3 RCA / S-Video Converter Adapter, but simply not as HDMI To Composite Cable only.
hdmi uses digital signal, so you can use a DVI adaptor but that's it.. (or digital component but that's ultra rare)
to use analogue (scart, composite, component, s-video) you'll need a digital-to-analogue converter box and they cost around £30 from ebay.. you're better off putting that money towards a new LCD with hdmi

[Q] Dual micro USB?

Hi together,
ive asked me if it is possible to use an adapter for 1x micro usb (plug) -> 2x micro usb (jack).
Could the phone handle 2 USB devices at the same time?
Maybe then it is possible to use the HDMI output and the USB host parallel?
For example to use an TV as screen and an HDD as the source for a movie.
This would be nice.
Thanks in advance.

When the connector is used for HDMI I doubt it can be used as USB at the same time, I'n sorry.
Maybe in a few months cyanogenmod provides a hack, if there will be an dual adapter soon.
We will see. Thank you.

The hardware needs to allow this if it'd become possible. You need a really smart USB dongle that knows how to split the HDMI output from the USB output.
Sounds a little too difficult to ever happen.
Hmm thats right. I think i still dream xD
But thank you.

it is not possible. because as stated on this forum many times before, the type of usb connection is determined by the resistor between pin 4 and 5 of the micro usb connector. the strength can tell the phone, that there is either a charger, a pc connection, car kit, jig, usb otg or mhl connection present.
and i believe, this is an important thing to keep in mind for so many things:
for instance, why the original car kit triggers car mode and generic car charging cables don't or why not just any micro usb male to usb a female will work as a otg cable or why flashing should be done with the original usb cable...
so if you were to buy or build a micro usb hub, since it has no resistor in the very plug that connects to the phone, it cannot be used for anything but charging and quite frankly, i wouldn't connect more than one charger to the phone.
however, if you want to use your phone for presentations or watching movies and still be able to use it, get a bluetooth keyboard and mouse or a bluetooth presenter or do it the other way around and use a usb input device and transfer your media using allshare. everything else is physically impossible, so neither CM nor XDA can do anything about it. the only device that can do what you want is the new motorola. it has a separate micro usb and micro hdmi port and a docking station, so you can use it as a full notebook.
Thats obvious. Thank you.

[Q] hdmi out and usb on-the-go?

I have a MHL for my samsung infuse, maybe i will give it a shot later... I am assuming there is some sort of support as the jetstream has a modified microusb connector. It can support a regular microusb cable but it also takes a cable with an extra 5th pin for something... must be some sort of other dock or cables coming out for it.
MHL does work. I used the "universal" MHL adapter that T-Mobile US stores sell and it worked once I plugged in a 1 amp phone charger. MHL adapters require micro USB power in, and I found that less than an amp didn't work. But the HTC Sensation and LG Thrill chargers did the trick. I have a video of it in action in our Jetstream review:
http://www.mobiletechreview.com/tablets/HTC-Jetstream.htm
The device lists USB external storage under the storage applet. But I had no luck using a USB OTG cable (the Motorola Xoom optional cable). It didn't see flash drives, mice or keyboards. I've asked HTC PR about USB host, but it's taking a long time for them to get me an answer.
btw... the MHL adapter that came with my Samsung Infuse also worked with the Jetstream as long as i had the charger plugged into the MHL adapter, couldn't power itself on its own.
