Clock disappeared after Xperia Ice Cream Pureness build 11 - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

Hi to all, I've one little but pesky problem.
After the installation of the pureness build 11 the top clock, the one in the top status bar.
Anyone know how to activate it?
Many tnx, J

it is not disappeared. it has been removed from statusbar. since it is in drop down panel. it is like the Jelly Bean .

Ok
So ther's any way to reintegrate it on the status bar?
Because in that way I can't see the clock in any page, if I don't drop down the status bar or if I don't have one clock in every page

one thing you can do. either force previous systemui.apk from build 10 to current rom. or flash any battery mod. (battery icon mods link is available in the thread itself)
EDIT : any harm to your phone, not My Fault. Do it on your own risk.

You can use apps like super status bar, status bar + ! Using the app Make your own status bar with clock! You can find the app in the playstore!
Sent from My Xperia NeoV! Don't be a retard! Press the thanks button!

I tried some app like super battery status, but no, it's not for me, tnx anyway for your advice, it was the workless solution
Btw, I think that the replacement solution is the best one, but I don't think that I've considered all the variables.
What if I make the replacement, only the status bar change?
And, how to make it possible? just replace the apk on the phone (in the right path) or I need to reflash the entire build?
J

well theory says push SystemUI.apk from previous build to you /system/app/ folder and set permission to rw-r--r-- , you can use root explorer or another file explorer which can access /system to do this.
it should change your statusbar along with notification panel, their icons and power menu items.
flashing battery mod will also do the same. but it will also give you your desire battery icon on statusbar. and this method is much easier and risk free.

Right, flashing battery is less dangerous, but I don't see any good mod, any mods have strange layouts, I love the status bar that you can see on the screenshots page of the pureness
Btw, where I can find the old systemui? I don't have the build 10
J

i made a flashable zip. this is better. tested on my own device.
just flash in cwm. attached
here are some screenshots of changes.

Tnx rajxelton for your help, but I've a question. Maybe it's only one misunderstood, if you look at your second screenshot you can see 2 hours, 11:50 and 23:48, and if you look at the first screenshot you can see 23:50. This one (23:58 and 23:50) is the clock that I can't see, and both your screenshots have it.
J

its a widget in 2nd screenshot. it is installed in the sdcard. and i took the screenshot just after detaching phone from computer. it think it was not fully loaded to work well.

i am having an issue with build 11 i was on build 10 and i upgraded to 11 by doing formatting system and data and cache and factory reset and wiping dalvik cache and then flashed the rom and the neo patch and i am using night elf lite kernel
after flashin the rom the rom felt like too slow and the launcher was too slow for example when i enter setting and press the home button it takes about 3-4 sec to load icons and widgets and when i enter the menu it takes time to load icons also !!!! any one also getting this ?!

[Theme] Xtreme Gingerbread for X10Mini/Pro *2.0.2.A.0.24*

This theme is a combination of two amazing themes:
Xtreme by Manny, and
Gingerbread Nexus S Edition by shivenjuneja
And thanks to shivenjuneja for the reboot button, battery percentage and the 'Theme Reference for Newbies' thread.
These two have made almost everything in this theme, so credit to them
And thanks for letting me publish this.
Reboot button and Gingerbread bootanimation included.
Now these is the changes i have made:
Optimized a bunch of icons.
Updated sliding buttons on lockscreen.
Made icon for conversation (SMS), a little more green to mach the others.
Removed alot of icons from Gingerbread, only ones left is the 4 you see in the dock.
Replaced a whole lot of icons, with ones from Xtreme.
Bootanimation: (Same one as in Gingerbread)

I dont know how to make an installation for xRecovery, so you guys have to do it the manual way

You also need to copy the apps to '/system/app' and overwrite originals (REMEMBER PERMISSIONS), after that, and a reboot, you can insert the new icons in the dock.
I myself use Launcher Pro.
(Optional you can install the font included in the .zip also, it is the same font as in Gingerbread)
This is my first theme ever, hope you like it

ps: i'm wondering, what's the name for your buttons widget (wifi, bluetooth. etc)
edit: installed your theme in my phone, it's nice but there is a problem with wifi icon in status bar. and the image that shows in drop down from status bar is not the same. The message icon in status bar too.
thanks again
Both clock and toggles is Beautiful Widgets.
Clock skin: flipturn
Toggle skin: circled
Sorry there was missing a file in package. Rapidshare link updated to new one.
i will update it and try the widgets
Now it's awesome
thank you and thanks to Manny, shivenjuneja.
Awesome work.. Loved it I'm currently using it, but have 2 issues..
In status bar, I've just a white line when i switch on wireless net Instead of "Wireless net"-icon...
In notification tray, instead of transparent tray, I've whhite background with yellow lines
What am i doing wrong?
I think it is the same issue as above, i updated the package with a ekstra file 'framework/services.jar', if you dont have that file in the package you got, then redownload from this thread.
Theme
im running with this theme right now on my x10mini and it works perfectly
Just want to know how i can change the sliding bottons on the lockscreen??

Hi!
Upgrading to a new software version?
Non-compatible with 2.1.1.A.0.6
Hello, and i would like to thank you for this great theme, i used it smoothly with the *24 version, but upon upgrading to the newest one 2.1.1.A.0.6 i couldnt install it and my phone was frozen on white SE logo, so i restored it.
I am asking if you are planning to upgrade this nice theme.
If it could help you, i am linking the new firmware update files blob_fs, as well as the framework files of this firmware. Maybe it could help in upgrading the theme, in case you are planning to do so.

There is a similar thread in xda - you can run over there and click thanks...
love the second theme with numbers!, excellent job
Just flashed Theme 2 so far its working good, only thing I would suggest is to change the carrier to white letters when you drop the notification bar down.
I can confirm theme 2 works on 1.7
I dont like the colour of the bar (1.7 bar is straight black), and I dont like the curves at the edges:

Weird bar before the battery icon on the stock lockscreen:
But overall who am I to complain? I didnt make it!
Nice work mate, if you can adjust the changes I suggestive I'll donate :E
Keep it up!
Thanks for the feedbacks

Try reflashing 1.7 (dont worry about doing a factory reset) to fix your bootloop
then clear cache partition
go advanced and clear delivk cache (or however you spell it)
then flash battery file
first boot will take awhile

Yeah, that's the conclusion i came to. Spent most of my evening reinstalling apps & data.
Reapplied the mod first thing after reloading firmware and rooting, and it works just fine.
OP: may be worth a note in your post - advise people to delete all widgets from your homescreens before applying the mod, could save a large amount of hassle.
Hmmm...
Could really do with a nandroid backup/restore for the arc.

Yeah, like i say i did this and Home went into a FC loop, forcing a complete firmware reinstall.
Best advice IMO is to remove all widgets from homescreen before applying the mod, then re-add them.

FYI the latest CM9 Nightlies has the CyanogenMod battery percent option.
Check @cm_tenderloin on twitter for the links (I'm not allowed to links yet).
Confirmed working for Alpha2, also will update tonight with an additional option to have a battery icon that makes the #s MUCH more clear.
Added additional battery option to OP.

Just attached the files to the bottom of the OP.
Odd, my setup retains this feature without modification.
Updated from alpha 0.6 to nightly 2/19/2012 then alpha 2.
I have a colored numerical text in regular and notification view. On opposing sides of the battery icon.
Strange.

Interesting, must've been related to the nightly that was flashed. Mine has never had a battery percentage, I flashed from alpha .6 to 1 to 2 with wiping cache and dalvik between each time.
The only thing I had close to a percentage was when I was using .6 and when in the notifications there was a gray percentage to the right of the battery icon. But once I flashed alpha 1 that disappeared so I had no percentage at all.
Guess we can expect things like this to happen until a "stable" version is released haha
Updated OP with 2 additional battery icons.
Added 2 more!!
Installed on CM9 a2, love it, thank you.
Just tried both circle versions on the CM9 nightly from Sunday. When I reboot I get an error that says "system UI has failed". The entire status bar crashes periodically now and the mod did not install. When status bar crashes i get the error again, once i hit ok status bar restarts after 30 seconds or so. Also have an SD card icon in the notification bar that says "touch here for more USB options".... nothing happens when you touch it, and it won't clear.
Any thoughts on how to fix this? I had this installed on CM9A2 and had no issues, so I did not think to backup before installing.: (
I did try entering recovery and clearing the caches (which I did prior to installing the mod as well) but no luck.

You should be able to just wipe cache and dalvik...then reflash the last nightly that u flashed and it should fix it.
And yeah these battery mods only work with cm9a2.

Awesome! That did it.
I've installed a ton of ROM's between my G2X, Nook Color, and TouchPad, but I didn't realize you could reload the ROM like that without wiping out all of your settings and app configurations.

Confirmed.... The battery mod may cause the device to have system UI crashes with new notifications such as market updates and new email notifications.
I thought it was just the a problem with the nightlies.

IcyBlue (THEME)

Hey guys,
I made this UoT last night in the kitchen; i have a slight ICS style theme going on so i made this to coinside with my current settings. Features and screenshots below:
-Digital battery (all #'s from 1-100) changes color about every 20%
-Sense style status bar header and footer
-Heartbeat animation background
-Loading Circles Modified to Aqua
-Download bar& Volume bar are Aqua
-Fly-in window animations
Im working on matching icons also so look for an update.
Instructions:
Download from link and place on root of external sd
Enter clockwork recovery mode ***IF YOU HAVEN"T ALREADY MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP***
Wipe Cache
Install from SD - select the UOT.zip file you downloaded from 4shared
Reboot
**********if you encounter any errors, all you need to do if go back into CWM recovery --> Backup restore --> Advanced Restore --> Restore System. you don't need to do a full restore (saves a lot of time).************
Download via 4shared link:
*"UOT-03-02-02-44-1.zip" -

There were three files replaced when you installed the zip. You would need to push the original copy of the files back to your phone.
Framework-res
SystemUI
And i think
TWframework-res
Do not recall off the top of my head if these are APK files or not, I think so. Also tw may be tzframework
Not sure why, but had some problems after flashing this. Phone booted partially up, but skipped the lock screen. I could see my Widgets trying to load, but screen kept going black. Tried to reboot, but same deal. May have been a CWM problem, not sure (using b3). Restored successfully with Nandroid.
Anyway, will try again later, but I was wondering if you could change the wifi and cell signal bars to blue as well. I hate the grey!
Thanks!

Same problem but I got a little hasty and didn't make a nandroid right before installing it. Is there any way to get the stock framework files back so that I don't have to reflash the rom (running the SAUROM Projekt rom atm)?
Are I guys using can Beta 3? If not I may wanna try that...
This shouldn't cause any errors...
And yes I can probably cook up some icons to.match if you would like?

I haven't installed the theme but it does look nice. You're also the first themer (as far as I can remember) for our i717 Notes
I know it's just a beta, but a feature you want to look into is making the slide down bar transparent (I don't know the specific name, but the bar you pull down to show notifications/wifi/bluetooth/etc). I know that's a nice feature on my Nook Color.
