Thanks for the post. I myself kinda like this boot animation. I havent put it on my tablet yet, but I like it.
I really want to thank you for including the screen shots, so we have an idea of what its going to look like. No one would buy a car, sight unseen, so why would someone want to put a boot animation that they cant see and evaluate for themselves.
Thanks again. I'd like to see more variety in boot animations. Does anyone know if sound files can be played during boot?

I've been using the Blue Particle boot animation that Camblue had put up. Pretty cool. When I get bored with it, I'll give this one a try. There's also a few I'd like to try that are on ROM Toolbox Lite.
I'm hoping that sound files can be played along with the boot animations. I'd like to take the "leap" sound effect from the TV show Quantum Leap, and have that play with the animation.

Hello congratulations for this bootanimation ... very nice! Today I tried to put it into the Media folder but I found I had a strange situation.I have Crombi 5.4 now I'm back stock hits something maybe?

Hey XDA,
Just threw together a little mod for the Prime. All I did was change the background of the quicksettings panel from that weird blue/purple color to a clean black. The mod is based on Virtuous Prime 9.x.x.15 v1 but should work on other versions of Virtuous and the stock ROM. I have not confirmed this though, so have a backup ready if you do flash on anything but Virtuous .15 v1!
DISCLAIMER: I have personally tested this mod on my Prime and confirmed it works, but I am not responsible for any and all thermonuclear wars and/or bricked Primes you may create because of this! Flash at your own discretion!

Do I have to be rooted or unlocked?
YES! You cannot install this mod without CWM, you cannot install CWM without being unlocked.

Damn that is sexy, it's exactly what I had in mind. The only major other thing would be replacing the nasty HC icons in the quicksettings with sexy ICS ones and changing the indicator colours to ICS cyan.

Basically changing all the honeycomb blue to ICS cyan, and then I still have to draw the quicksettings icons myself, but that would be a start.
I shouldn't even ask, it's just that I'm in my new ubuntu drive syncing source trees for interesting builds.

Your boot.img is why your USB mass storage doesn't work.... have to have compatible boot for any aosp derived rom

All you need is root to do this. I recommend a program like root explorer for changing permissions of a file or mount as that is required too, but if you know linux command line you can do it thatbway too.

That's what i used and didn't even have to touch the PC downloaded straight to the tablet and off i went. And confirming yes, all u need is root. Back up your old animation just in case.

How can I make categories on my Homescreen?
Exemple: when I click on games a new homescreen witn a new wallpaper and the games icons apear and for back to homescreen i click on home and the first homescreen with the first wallpaper appear again

I use apex launcher and it has special shortcuts to go to certain screens
You can use home button to default homescreen to go back
And you can use multi picture live wallpaper to have different wallpapers for each screen

I second that. if i remember, I'll upload my settings so that you can use my setup as a base. SS launcher is fantastic IMO. great app for the "hubs" based home screens.

Check this thread out, you will find what you need in there but get ready to spend a couple of hours working on it. I used that tutorial on my Nook Color and it work great, haven't done it on the 300 cause haven't had time for leisure

I dont have my tablet with me at the moment, but it is either in the "preferences" or in the "theme" settings.
my only problem is that the landscape layout doesn't translate to portrait mode....which is OK because i think this tablet feels awkward in portrait.
again, i will try to remember to post my setup when i get home....i am so worthless sometimes

pc...as in computer or is it short form for some phone name?...it will work if your kernel has twrp recovery and your phone is mdpi.
