xperia s touch screen problem - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

After receiving a phone call, which lasted around 5 minutes. I hung up the phone and then through the speaker there was a loud crackling sound. I then noticed the 3 illuminated touch screen buttons started to flicker. Eventually the touch screen stopped working. Only the hard buttons work, the unit has switched on/off numerous times and I have also tried a hard reset by holding the power and + buttons until it vibrates 3 times.
Nothing is happening.
I don't want to lose my data, I need a way to back it up.
Could somebody please help?????

[Q] Htc Hd2 Volume goes up by itself???

I fell asleep next to my phone one night and when i woke up and tried to wake up my phone the volume menu opened up and acted like if i was pressing the volume bar repeatedly. I turned it off and on again and once it boots into Windows the same thing, if i try to press volume down it will and it will go right back up again. The Volume rocker button is fine and not stuck. I found out though if i hold up and down before windows mobile boots up it will allow me to operate as normal but once i let go It goes back to the volume going all the way up. I have flashed different roms to no avail.
Does anyone have any ideas to what could be causing this?
I just started having the same problem with a Samsung Omnia 7. It fell into some water, let's say it was a bucket, i pulled it apart and thoroughly dried it. Seemed to work perfectly for a few hours, now the volume thing.
Our HD2's hard buttons are not invincible and I learned that the hard way. After lots of use on my phone the send, home, end, and volume down buttons stopped working. I also believe my end button is stuck on because it always boots up on its own, meaning I can't shut it down and leave it off. I have to take the battery out of it.
My advice is if you can find a way to use "soft" buttons to navigate your phone do it and save yourself the hassle of breaking the hard ones for when you need them. Good luck!

I had a few drips of water it my hd2 and a couple days later, I rebooted and after it rebooted, the volume is stuck on UP. I took it apart. I has nothing to do with the button itself as I removed the button and it's still stuck. Still no solution yet.
Hi,
Did anyone find a solution for this? I had to hard reset my HD2 couple of days ago. After the reset, I installed all the apps, one after another. The phone worked fine for a day, until this afternoon when it started acting crazy. First symptom was that when you type some numbers of the "Phone" screen to look up a contact, I was not able to delete the using the back button. Other keys like up, down, left, right too didn't work in the SMS compose screen. I restarted the phone thinking that it would resolve the issue, but worse. The volume control showed up just after the boot and the "volume up" tone was constantly going off as though I was pressing the volume-up button constantly. I tried rebooting and remove the battery, SD etc, uninstalled few programs, but to no avail.

[Q] Black screen, touch-responsive, vibrates but does not display anything...

I'm having a really strange issue with my gear fit:
1. Screen is black
2. Screen responds to touch(!) - I unpair the device and pair it again, when i press the left(top) part of the screen (confirmation button) it stops vibrating...
3. I am able to turn it off and on but the screen is still black (Samsung logo does not appear)
4. Bluetooth works fine
5. Kies3 also recognizes the device
6. It happened randomly a few times - the screen turned on and was responsive to touch but when i try to do anything it freezes and goes black again. I noticed that I can even change the wallpaper and clock through the Gear Fit Manager. I thought that it could be just the screen issue but I've never dropped it and as I mentioned - it responds to touch.
This problem appeared out of nowhere - I've left the watch (turned off) for a month on my desk, the battery was at 40% today, tried to turn it on and...
Due to the screen failure I cannot put it in the download/recovery mode. Is there a way to do it with screen off?
I know it's stating the obvious but have you done a full reset on it? (Hold the button down, a good 8 seconds, until it forces it to reboot)

Just my 2 cents,I had to hold it down more like 20 seconds, way more than seems logical.
From my Galaxy Note 2
Has there been an answer to this because I've been having the same issue with mine for about 4 months. As stated before, it turns on but screen stays blank but I know it's working because it vibrates after I turn it on. Mine is a international one.
possibly a screen defekt? was the same thing with my when i rip it apart

Screen input delay after moving away from face

Ok, so lately I've noticed when I've had to call a few numbers that need me to Press 1, 2, 3 etc on the dialpad that I can't do it right away. When I put the phone to my ear, as I would expect the screen switches itself off. When I pull the phone away from my face the screen comes on again immediately, but there's about a 5-7 second delay before I can actually press anything. In those seconds after the screen comes on, it wont accept any touch input whatsoever. It's not delayed, presses I make during those seconds just aren't registered at all, then suddenly it begins accepting input as normal. It isn't just number keys either, it's the entire screen, so I can't press End Call until nearly 10 seconds after I've actually pulled the phone away from my face, nor can I move the phone away and press the Speaker Phone button quickly.
This only happens when the screen comes on after being against my face though. If the screen is just turned off and I press the power button, or double tap to wake, it accepts input immediately, so I don't believe it's a hardware problem.
Currently running 4.4.4 rooted, image was made from stock and pre-rooted prior to being flashed onto the phone.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
yeah i've experienced this as well. doesn't happen on speaker though.
No, doesn't happen on speaker phone. If the screen goes off from that and I turn it back on then the screen responds immediately. It only seems to happen in cases where the screen auto shuts off due to it detecting that it's against your face.

Samsung Galaxy TabS SM-T705 after the screen turns off, it runs on by pressing random

It all started 2 days ago, when watching a clash of clans replay the screen turned off for the energy saving thing. I pressed the power button to bring it back, but the screen didn't turn on, i could hear the game sounds, and the touch screen was working, after the replay ended i was able to tab the buildings in my village and hear the sound they make. I pressed some random combination of buttons, i think its power+volume down and the screen turned on. It happened a second time during that day, and i was able to turn the screen on again. But the day after that trick didn't work and the tablet was stuck with a black screen.
I tried a factory reset, but the menu for it wouldn't appear, the odin menu by the other hand worked fine. The recovery menu should appear when with the tablet turned off you press volume up + home + power in that sequence, and releasing the power button at the samsung logo screen. But the menu never appeared, so i navigated it blindly and i think i managed to reset it, at the next accension i was prompted with the personal information field, name, google account, time settings etc..
The phone started again, with all default settings, and all my files where gone (so im assuming the factory reset worked) but when the screen turns off it doesn't come back by pressing the power button, it comes after trying a few combinations (and again i think it is power + volume down and wait a few seconds).
So im worried it was all in vain, also the screen brightness is bugged, and changes the colors, the become reddish with low brightness and some colors disappear.
Edit: After i let the screen turn off for the third time today, it doesn't come back on. So im back at the black screen...

After splash screen, screen blank but phone sinks with BT & capacitive lights active

After splash screen, screen blank but phone sinks with BT & capacitive lights active
Today I tried to update my phone to the newest firmware (I think it was .210, but I know it was from August 5th on firmware finder...I know its a long time to wait to update, but I started a new job, moved to a new city, etc. so things have been super crazy). Unfortunately, after flashing with EMUI Flasher, the phone rebooted and then got an update failure. I restarted the phone and waited but the screen was black. However, my smart band paired and if I press the power button, the capacitive button lights turn on, but the screen is blank/black. I have tried rebooting, both regularly holding power for 20 seconds as well as holding the power key with volume up and then volume down. I can reboot into a recovery of sorts and tried to wipe cache and restart, as well as boot into safe mode, but both result in the black screen from before. I can also boot into fastboot, but don't know what I could do to fix this.
Any advice as to how I can save my phone would be really appreciated. I'm really hoping I don't have to wipe the phone.
Please help me!
