I want change default cyanogenmod settings:

Learning from some threads here on xda and I try this on my systemui and profit. This is lockscreen toggle which takes place in the notification header panel and status bar for xt910 running stock jb 4.1.2 (Im on eu jb). Its deodexed. It will lock the screen on touch.
How to install:
1. Do a nandroid backup
2. Push this SystemUI.apk in system/app
3. Set permissoon to rw-r-r
4. Reboot
If you have systemui.odex then rename to system.ui.odex.bak or deleted it.
Im not able to make flashable zip, anyone may help for easy installation. Hope you like it guys.

Errm, tried the full screen version from OP on latest Slim CM and clear all button doesn't work. It appears when notifications come but notifications don't clear when I press it

Something like, when you're focusing on a global action, text color becomes gray. No offense sir but it is too hard for me to see the word that i'm focusing on.

Decompile SystemUI.apk with apktool & open status_bar.xml in notepad++
change the clock gravity from center to right (might need other changes depending on how it's written)
Or copy the line for the clock in status_bar.xml from the original SystemUI.apk & replace the one in new SystemUI.apk
You could always use original SystemUI.apk from rom zip instead but of course any other changes that were made to SystemUI.apk would be reverted too

Write access to /system/ required
Instructions:
- Download View attachment framework-res.zip
- Rename it to framework-res
- Copy file to /system/media/theme/default/ on you phone
- Reboot
- ???
- Profit!
For custom sizes, just unzip framework-res and open theme_value.xml
Edit the "navigation_bar_height" and "navigation_bar_height_landscape" values to your liking

No, you can copy that file in twrp-recovery mode also (with out root access). If your system-folder look like empty, u have to mount system-folder in twrp-recovery

Go to settings, search for smart cover, Enabled it, then Disable it. That should fix it

I added: qemu.hw.mainkeys = 1
to my build prop. It disabled the navbar after a reboot.
I am using Swipe Navigation.
I recommend using powerball after disabling the navbar till you get everything working nicely.

Btw, works with me. My root explorer messed just things up a little, and dalvik wipe was necessary.
Heads up that the buildprop trick doesn't work with Oreo roms. Hopefully the rom developers include a way to deactivate it built in. I can't go back to navbars or pies etc

is it possible to reduce the navigation bar in landscape mode? somehow this looks inconsistent
