Sorry. Didn't know people was so fast to act like a mod. I can't stand it when some one makes a mistake and a wanna be mod is quick to call for a mod or make a mod call like they are the forum police. A simple pm.would.have been good enough.

It's my story...I'll tell it how I want....LOL......:highfive::good:

What I <3 about the Note is when I pull it out, females look at it and say "Wow that's Huge!" And I look at my girlfriend and smile like a Boss.
-Once you go NOTE, you'd say 4 inches a Joke
[Lady]: "How do you carry that huge phone in your pocket?"
[Note User]: "I'm used to having huge stuff in my pants"

I love it when someone pulls out their razr to.show it off saying how fast it is and how big the screen is. I pull out my note and compare them. With in a min of me talking about it the put the razr back in their pocket and drool.
Its true what they say once you go note you will say 4 inches is a joke..

Def the big screen. Being able to put a iPhone 3g next to it and the notes screen being as wide as the iPhone is long. Gorilla glass is awesome I have dropped it numerous times on concrete and it has survived.
Custom roms are the icing on the cake saying goodbye to touchwiz!
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium

+1 on the big screen. Though I just bought a GNex, my note will remain my primary device solely because of its size. And I just got my mom a GS3, again, I would still pick my Note over that purely because of the screen. I won't jump ship to the Note 2, again because of the screen, that 16:9 ratio just isn't as appealing (yes I know my nexus is 16:9, but its a freaking nexus, as a backup/dev phone). Until Samsung gets back on track with the 16:10 for the future Note line, I will cherish this beast until it craps out a long time from now.
I also always enjoy showing people how great of phones Samsung makes. It's funny how many iPhone users are amazed by this thing. "Is that your phone? How do you like it? Does it fit in your pocket? Really, 720p? It has a stylus too? LTE speeds? And you can customize it that much? Damn." Then I tell them to hand me their phone for a second, and show them how the iPhone 4 fits completely within just the screen of my Note, and that's just the icing on the cake. They always end up thinking this phone is awesome.

The huge screen is why I've wanted it since it first came out & it's exactly as great as I thought it'd be, but now that I actually have the phone I'm incredibly impressed with the speed & smoothness of it, especially with ICS. The camera is fast & I don't get the annoying pink spot in the center of all my pics like with my GSII. Call quality is great too, everyone sounds so much clearer & people have been commenting on how much clearer I sound too(though that may be partly due to AT&T). And HOLY CRAP I love the stylus. Side note- I find it kind of funny how back when PDA phones first came out people used to ***** about the styluses, but now they're coming back into fashion. It's probably the best phone I've ever had

Note to Ear

Just a random thought again...from watching various reviews of the size of the Note and it's use for making phone calls I am feeling 2 camps....
1) Do I look funny? Are people mocking and pointing fingers at me? I'm embarassed.
2) I'm one bad ass dude...that's right!
Which are you? Which do you want to be?
I dont see why anyone gives a flying f what you have up to your ear. I would laugh at someone with an iphone just because its a fad phone. 98% of the iphone users dont have a clue why its a good phone.
I might have a big head but I don't feel weird holding this awesome piece of technology next to my ear. Nothing to be embarrassed about.
Same here, nothing but pride..
If your so conceited as to think people are watching you and care enough to laugh at how large the phone is that you hold to your head, you have much bigger issues. See what I did there?
I couldn't care less.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
I actually used it to my ear much more than the speaker and so far, no one gave a tiny rat's ass in a room full of people at a dental office. People care way too much about what people think these days. The phone is actually not That big. It only seems that way because we live in an iPhone world where 3.5 inch screens are classified as normal.
-On another NOTE, Samsung goes 5.3"
Still have my Iphone4, and would hardly call it a fad phone. I went with the Note only because of the larger screen, and it turns out that I absolutely love the Note too.
The Iphone has better apps available, it is very smooth, and it always works, so I can't knock it at all.

Recently, I was eligible for an early upgrade. My Galaxy S II was just a bit too small, so it came down to the Note, and the Skyrocket. In the end , I chose the Skyrocket, because the Note was not a one handed phone. The Skyrocket is a perfect size for my large hands. I'm not going to say the Note is too big a phone; it's just too big for me.

Spur of the moment...

I was having a problem with my Skyrocket and decided to exchange it for another one. While I'm at the AT&T store, I thought I would play around with the display model Galaxy Note...long story short, I upgraded my Skyrocket to a white Galaxy Note. (wife is not happy at all). Nonetheless, it's a great device. I will admit that upon initial impressions, I was not a fan of the Note.
To start, the phone is enormous, but once you get past it's caveman-ish dimentions, it's actually a great device. The screen on this phone is beautiful. It's 5.3" of HD SAMOLED+ lovin. In my opinion, this display is the best of both worlds...an Super AMOLED + display with high resolution. It's a pleasure to look at.
I'm getting used to the size of the phone, the more I handle it. I've been able to type one-handed with little difficulty, and typing is much easier on a 5.3" screen, because there's more room to type. For people with big hands, (like me), you know what I'm talking about. I will report back in a couple of days, with a more in depth review.

This is my SECOND 5" phone. Dell hasn't a clue how to market what they had.
I got my note (international) in December. Once you go with a 5" screen, kind of
hard to go back. I know I looked at the SG2, but even though it is a great device, that screen just looks TINY compared to what I am use to now.

Anyone making fun of iPhone users?

I'm sure all of us have been teased by these people, them saying its too big, etc is that a tablet? Blah blah blah! I got sick of it and started reading them back. Curious what some of you have come up with, these are mine.
"*squint* What is that? A phone for ants!"
"Wow your keychain has internet on it? That's awesome!"

Funny things people say about your huge phone

So, my friend (she's an iZombie of course) just asked if my phone was the "S4 Note".
I know this probably more because of Samsung's S4 fragmentation with the zoom/active/mini etc. models but I have noticed I've gotten quite a few funny comments/questions about this device, and so far no where to share it in my favorite XDA section!
Some of you must have a few humorous comments that you've received, post them here and share the laughs.
"You can make calls on that thing?"
"Bet the porn on that screen is amazing"
"Wish my iphone was that big"
Sent from my note 2 ya bish!
You look like you're holding an iPad Mini to your ear (on days that I forget my BT Ear Piece)
Why are you using a tablet to take pictures (but that usually stops once they see the pics and I don't have to do endless scrolling on websites)
Apple is Innovative, just look at my perfectly sized 4" screen, to which I usually reply,,,,Android was innovative in 2010 when they started having 4" screens, and you don't see me having any issues holding my 5.5" phone.
Best one....at the office....my co-worker always running around, trying to find another Apple user to see if he can use his proprietary connector to charge his phone.....out of spite I put my USB Cable on his desk once.
It's that a Lcd TV?

"How do you fit that big thing in your pocket"
"Omg that is so huge can I hold it?"
Both things I would never hear ever without this phone!

"That thing is huge!"
Me: That(pointing to his iPhone)thing is small.
Or
"How do you fit that in your pocket?"
Usually there's some profanity in the first question lol but that's the one I get quite frequently. This phone is awesome!

A buddy of mine saw my phone for the first time and stated; "I see you decided to bring your flat-screen TV with you.... God Damn!"
Then he began to fumble around with his little IPhone (The smart phone for stupid people)...

I occasionally get the "wow is that thing big" but alot of people around here either have a s3 s4 or note 2 so it doesn't really phase them. When i first got it is when I got alot of comments because it was still so new. A friend of mine asked me to see it (when a hot girl asks for your phone you just hand it over hahaha) but she is tiny, by tiny I mean 4'10" and maybe 110lbs. Well it truly looked like she was holding a tablet. Haha. That's when I saw how big it is. But I can never go back to a smaller phone now.
People: "how can you use a phone that big?"
Me: "I'm used to handling big things."

here lately, there are more note 2's or s4's than iphones at the hospital so not as many comments as there used to be.
I get it all the time at the university I work at. Big screen tv, 80's boombox, table for our food. I just wait until one of my coworkers tries to show a youtube video, I go to the same one, and then put my phone next to theirs. That usually quiets those types of people.

Best comment yet by some random blonde woman.
How can you even use that, its so big... my reply its not hard if you are already accustomed to big equipment.
I was out eating hibachi for lunch yesterday and the the chef was talking about an old commercial and he seen my note on the table and told me to look it up on my Galaxy tablet!!
