Xperia S Bluetooth Keyboard Issues - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

This is seriously getting annoying. Recently, i bought a Rapoo Bluetooth Keyboard E6300 as i thought it would be convenient for me to type and take notes in class with my XS. However, when i tried pairing, it paired perfectly for the first time and all the media buttons worked perfectly too. However, 4 or 5 mins later, it disconnects and is REALLY HARD to reconnect. It would automatically reconnect but only when the bluetooth feels like it. Is the problem with the phone or the keyboard?
I've tried external apps to try solving the problem like "BlueKeyboardJP" and "Bluetooth Keyboard Easyconnect". These apps help with a faster pairing at first but then the connection still gets disconnected and reconnecting also takes time. And also reconnecting needs to be done manually.
Why won't my bluetooth keyboard connect to my XS properly and STAY CONNECTED until i turn bluetooth off?!
Please HELP!

BT GPS feature on a BT HEADSET.

i have a BT-Q818 and one cool feature it has is that it goes on stand by mode once there is no connection. this is the case when i step out of the car. and whenever i start driving again, i seem to have had no pairing issue.
question is, is this FEATURE available on any BLUETOOTH HEADSET? reason being is that i only use my BT HEADSET when i drive and im getting tired with my current HS810 where its a hit and miss. sometimes it would pair and sometimes it would not.
thanks for any input guys.
Upon disconnection, the Nokia HS12-w displays "disconnected". Pressing the play button for a couple of seconds causes it to reconnect (I suspect to the last device it was connected with, but am not sure about that - I can test it if you like).
But even if you switch it off and back on, there is no need to pair again: it just starts searching for paired devices and connects with one of them (alas, no choice regarding what device it connects with, but it does seem to prefer Nokia devices over HTC ones).
The first connection it makes is as a headset (only calls are routed throught it, other sounds still come from the HTC). After pressing another button it also connect as an A2DP device and all sounds from the HTC are routed to it.

Nexus 9 Pairing with Folio Keyboard

I'm finding the pairing of the Folio Keyboard with my Nexus 9 to be problematic. I'm not sure if this is because there's an issue with NFC on either device or I'm just doing it wrong.
Pairing the keyboard using only bluetooth works but needs to be triggered by selecting the already paired with keyboard in bluetooth settings and can take 10s of seconds before it is connected. I expected that the keyboard would connect as soon as it came in range of the NFC chip, but it doesn't. I think NFC at least partially works as the keyboard is detected by the tablet as a trusted device via NFC. When I follow the directions to pair the keyboard via NFC by placing the tablet on it in the right manner it does not pair though I hear a tone when the doing it, that doesn't happen when I change the orientation of the tablet. From this I conclude that the NFC hardware works but something in my use of it, the configuration of the tablet or a system bug is stopping it working properly.
1) Is it a reasonable expectation that I can be expect once pairing has been completed that placing the tablet on the keyboard will be recognised by NFC without having to lay the tablet in the manner described in keyboard documentation?
2) Assuming the desired outcome as described above is possible will this trigger the tablet to turn on bluetooth (if it is turned off) or is it necessry for bluetooth to be either manually turned on, left on or find some other mechanism that triggers bluetooth to be turned on in order to connect the keyboard?
3) Is it a reasonable expectation that keyboard and tablet to be quickly connected (in a second or so) via bluetooth?
1. Once they're paired. They're paired, no need for nfc.
2. It will not turn on bluetooth automatically. Just leave bluetooth on at all times.
3. Mine connects pretty quickly once I learned the proper method to do it, that being with bluetooth on, slide the camera portion of the table slowly over the portion of the folio just above the number row. And visa versa to unpair.
The only annoying thing about this keyboard folio is the fact that I need to turn back on the "hardware input" to either see the on screen keyboard when not using the tablet, and turn off the onscreen keyboard when using the folio keyboard. I wish it did that automatically. I'm either missing something, or need to figure out a way to do that with tasker, via touch imputs or something.
Yeah, once you connect via bluetooth, NFC is no longer needed.
The frustration I am experiencing is that once the keyboard is paired and connected...if I turn bluetooth off or it disconnects, it won't automatically reconnect the next time BT is turned on. Am I missing something here? It's like the keyboard is asleep and the nexus can't find it to connect to.

I generally just touch an input then hit a button on the folio keyboard. In about 1 or 2 seconds the letter will show up and the on screen keyboard will disappear. From there I just type normally.

Bluetooth problems

Just picked up my C5 Ultra, was happy until I tried to use its bluetooth with my car's built-in system (Mazda).
I have two problems:
- continuous stuttering to the point it's not usable, usually starts 1-2 minutes after starting to play music
- when trying to make a call, the phone doesn't route the call to the car, it shows it sending audio to bluetooth device, but no sound comes it also doesn't respond to the call end button in my car
Anybody else with bluetooth problems? Strange thing is it's only my car, it seems to work fine with my bluetooth headset. And there were no issues with my car with my old phones.
same problem here
Thank God someone posted this. I also have a bluetooth headset and from time to time, there's some stuttering then the music stops playing. To fix this, I have to turn off my bluetooth in my phone and restart my bluetooth headset and pair the two again.
I thought this issue is only limited to audio devices. I bought an LG watch urbane and from time to time, the watch gets disconnected. When I try to pair it again, it won't connect even if I try several times. It will only connect if I restart my watch and try to pair it again.
I also have a Moto 360, and there's a lot more random disconnects with this phone than any other phone I've used before. However, it does normally reconnect very quickly. But I did have to disable the vibrate on connect/disconnect because it got to be annoying.
I've given up on my car's bluetooth and using another bluetooth receiver and aux-in to my car's stereo. It seems that the older the bluetooth device, the more likely to have issues. Bluetooth 3.0/4.0 headsets seem to work fine.

by the way, I have tried my watch urbane connecting to my huawei 4x and it doesn't get disconnected randomly. If it gets disconnected because I left my phone from another room, it will quickly get connected again when I'm near unlike the C5 Ultra that needs my watch to be restarted to be able to connect again.
Check In settings -> xperia connectivity -> throw settings -> Auto-select wirelles option if it is close. if not, close and try. Maybe this help
Not working with my Huawei Watch, it gets paired but inmediatly disconnects asking "add as trusted device?" and after that it's imposible to reconnect. Any help will be will be welcomed.
This phone honestly sucks in many ways. I love the hardware but the software and the cpu is the problem on this phone. Bluetooth sucks, slow processor and ...yea..slow loading on everything. I know it's the phone's bluetooth that disconnects my bluetooth earphones and car audio because it never happened on my Nexus 6. We'll just have to wait till Sony releases Marshmallow on our phones.
Bluetooth cuts in and out when paired
Updated to marshmallow and my Bluetooth still cuts in and out when paired to my boss mini speaker .Sony really has to fix this if they want to remain in the competitive cellphone market. If any suggestions on how to solve this issue please help.
After the update I am also having problems with Bluetootn. In sleep mode Bluetootn off. Accordingly, all the time the connection is lost with the Sony SmartWatch 3 hours. Tired of this problem

Yup, bluetooth shutting off is causing all sorts of problems with my Pebble smartwatches too. Basically made them completely useless because of the disconnects soon after the phone is idle.
I'm pretty sure it's tied to the Doze function in Marshmallow, but even when I disable Doze for the Pebble watch app and bluetooth share app, I still have issues. I even got an app called "Disable Doze" to completely turn off Doze functionality. It seems to help, but I still have occasional drops.
Bluetooth seriously sucks on this phone...
Found a solution
I found out what causing that bluetooth disconnects on my Xperia C5 Ultra Dual. It's when wifi and bluetooth are turned on at the same time. I turned off wifi and bluetooth connection is now stable.
My pebble also was disconnecting and it was annoying with all the vibration and it wasn't event reconnecting. But after I turned off the wifi bug is gone. I read that this is a common bug with Xperia Sad...

I'll have to give that a try, I stopped using my C5 because I couldn't stand the bluetooth issues anymore. I'm using, of all things, my 4 year old Nexus 4 now (which I should say works perfectly...)
bluetooth of sonyc5ultra is worst working in connectivity . useless , disconnecting from blue tooth device by its own. Getting irritating by bluetooth issue.
Same Problem here also
I have BLUEDIO bluetooth headphone, it disconnect after restarting bluetooth in my sony c5. When I try to pair it again, it won't connect even if I try it again and again the whole day. It only connect if I restart sony c5 and try to pair it again.

Challenge to sorve mistery

I have the oneplus one, rooted and with a custom rom (android 7.1.2), and i have a new car. Something very strange is happening. Sometimes the phone does not connect with the car, via bluetooth, sometimes connects but when i turn android auto on it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting the bluetooth. The strangest thing i notice is, if i turn off the device and restart again, the bluetooth connection and android auto work fine and with no problem, 1 ou 2 hours later, when i come back to the car, it happens again, the bluetooth connection drops and the only way to reconnect is by completely turning off the device. The car is new, has 2000 km, is a skoda and the brand says that nothing is wrong with the car. What should i do?
P.S. English is not my native language, sorry...

Bluetooth Issues on Ulefone Gemini Pro

Hey,
so a little less then a year ago i bought the Ulefone Gemini Pro on Gearbest. And for the first few months the Phone worked flawless... but then a few prloblems started to appear.
First the external SD card randomly wasnt detected which was quite annoying cause i installed a few apps on the card which i couldnt use until, for whatever reason the card was detected again, this could either be in a few minutes or like half an hour later. Now i just use the sdcard for storage and by this I "fixed" this issue...
Then my Headphone jack broke... like it only works if you bend the connector quite hard... so I switched to a Bluetooth headset which worked fine... until it didn't...
When I connect my Phone with any Bluetooth Speaker (i got the JBL Xtreme) or Headphones (currently using marshall MID) the phone randomly loses the connection.
So first I connect it, start spotify and the songs starts. Then after some time the music randomly stops for about a second and start again until the bluetooth signal on my phone says that there is no connection anymore. And if I let Bleutooth stay active after a minute or so in connects again but wont work properly: sometimes it says its connected but the phone is blasting the music out of its own speakers.
I tried everything i could find online: from the obvious ones like battery power, compatibility.... to the less obvious ones ( for me) like: turn off WIFI signal, Battery savings options, deleting the cache, location tracking...
what i think i noticed is when i open google maps with location on, it almost everytime start with those issues.
with other phones the speaker and headphones work flawlessly so it has to be my phone..
So my question would be what else could be the culprit of this error? is there some app that interferes with my bluetooth and how can i find it (for example i found out that location tracking if it set on extra exact uses WIFI bleutooth etc. and maybe thats interfering with the connection)
Or is there another soultion?
Or could it be a hardware problem with Ulefone Smartphones cause i read in two other posts that they also got bluetooth issues...
thanks for reading
hopefully someone knows how to fix this
Best wishes
paulolo
