What is this? Have I turned my tablet into a brick? Help me. Please.

Do you have the latest drivers installed and also are you using a known good USB cable? You might also want to change to the USB ports on the back of the computer. The ports that are connected directly to your board seem to work a lot better on flashing. You also could have a bad download on the NVFlash package. Another tip is Anti-Virus software should be disabled during the process. There are some that will disturb the processes and cause issues.

I have the same problem... but your link don't working!

is my tablet fried.

everything is working but for some reason i cannot gt it it recovery mode any longer.. was working fine when i got. it.. just hangs with the message "recovery key detected"
so i followed some steps here and tried to flash the recovery img. from the latest stock firmware.. results look fine.. but it still hangs and never gets into recover mode..
double checked the recovery directory is there (i am trying to reflash cwm which obbviously is not working) and the command file is correct pointing to sdcard and the update.zip is int he root of sdcard (from internal cwm)
still just hangs and "recovery key detected"
here is the output when it tried to reflash the recovery partition which i assumed somehow got munged.. but no idea.. any help would be appreciated.

igkahn,
Probably was quicker and less trouble than trying to work through the other.
When you get to the stock, you might want to run Settings/Security/Wipe
Factory Data just to make absolutely sure you're good to go.
Once you get back to stock, you can OTA back up to 3588 and from there you
can go where you want to.

I am having the same issue
I am having the same issue with not being able to enter the recovery mode. everything is working but for some reason i cannot get it in recovery mode any longer.. was working fine when i got. it.. just hangs with the message "recovery key detected"
I am a newbie to the Android OS would appreciate any help on how to fix this problem.
Were you using stock recovery? ClockworkMod? What ROM did you have installed? Have you recently made any changes? Updates?
How do you expect help if you don't give us any information?

nvflash FULL restore not working

Hey guys.,
I need some help. I have having issue with install Vegan gingerbread. I had to reinstall it as my dum a$$ mistakenly formatted sdcard 1 instead of 2.Didnt know it would erase 1 as it said sdcard 2. Anyway i tried to load rom again and then i got stuck at the stupid dev screen and only way around that is to do a nvflash. So I have installed via nvflash before so i know the steps, but this time it wont fully load the stock OS. The install went in fine. The command box said click enter and i did. It rebooted the gtab and got to the gtablet screen and then reboots again. Im not sure what is going on here but its in a reboot cycle. I powered down and tried again and same issue. It keeps rebooting. I did nvflash again same result. I tried to boot in recovery mode( + Volume) and it detects that but of course i have no update.zip on sdcard so nothing happens there. I can go in apx mode no problem but it will not load the stock os no matter what i do. Im stuck. HELP!!!!
I can get into apx no problem. I can go to recovery mode but dont have CMW on my sd to install. I cant access my tab via the computer. IM STUCK crap. help
Dont know if this will help but below is the info after i double click the bat file.

Ok guys, Just sharing just incase anyone else has same issue. I found a post that said this.
"First thing.....dont use Rom Manager to flash anything on the GTab. It doesnt play nice with our tab at all. Second.....only use bekit 0.8 recovery at this time. Nvflash your tab back to stock. You can use the update.zip method to put bekit recovery on or just replace part9.img in nvflash with recovery.img from cwm 0.8. Just rename recovery.img to part9.img. You will then have bekit 0.8 after nvflash and skip a step"
So i followed that step and reflashed and it loaded CWM. Thx thebadfrog.
now that im in CWM i feel a little better. Now im formating the sd card to 2048 and 0. I read some where this will help with the boot loop issue. So lets see if this works. O lord please work haha..
Ok this will be my last post. Im finally IN. Yahooo......
Thx the lord for these forms. The information here got me the answer. Hope these steps help someone with the same boot loop issue.

[Q] Boot Loader Dead (stuck in APX) no birds...

Hello, I have tried everything I can find (many times) ....I had a working gtab with 1.1, have not touched it in years, wanted to load one of the new roms as apparently they are much faster now. Did a few things, 1.1 to 1.2, stock, etc....not really sure of the order or where I messed up, but now I am stuck with APX only. No matter what script I run it always ends with this: "sending file: system.img \ 18743296/125207808 bytes sentdata send failed NvError 0x120002 command failure: create failed (bad data)".
I feel I have messed up the partitions somewhere related to the bct? Tried format, comes up with magic mismatch.
Any ideas on what I can do next, besides use the wife's Ipad?
Thanks.
