Use a deodexed rom, decompile Systemui.apk, look for drawables.xml
in res/vaules
Change
<item type="drawable" name="status_bar_background">#ff1e1e1e</item>
to (100% transparency)
<item type="drawable" name="status_bar_background">#00FFFFFF</item>
Compile the apk and push it to your device

Circle battery icon mod or all icons? Pics of which mod you are talking about will be helpful.

I'd put my money on Mike's reply as well; search the market for themes.

that widget you are talking about is for Stock Roms..Paranoid Android is AOSP based ROM..so unfortunately it is a no..unless someone has ported it..check in themes section..

These work fantastic and look great! The only problem I have is that I use a 12hr clock, not 24hr clock. So when it changes to 1:00pm for example, the alignment of the numbers are offcentered. The background then doesn't seem to fit right.

Edit - I must add, the stock style transparent clocks and the lengueta one works perfect. I assume because they have no background or have a solid background. The MIUI and Sense style ones don't format right with a 12hr clock setting.

The only way I can see it working is to remove the Am/PM indicator from the clock. With that removed, the numbers should be properly centered again.

Found his today on modmydroid.net and thought it looked pretty cool. It free in the playstore and very easy to use and customize.
It d/l's as an apk, so you don't even have to go to recovery to install.

EDIT: Figured out the app drawer but still trying to figure out how to add new tiles
Long press app in drawer. Tap add tile. Long press app on home screen. Tap the pencil icon to customize. You can resize (1st). Then Change out images from your gallery or use launcher icons. Change background color. Or change from center to extrude if you want image to go out to the edge.
