These are a multitude of firsts for me. My first Dialer, my first IME, my first flashable.zips, my first modified skin (FYI, the skin is RED, i wouldnt recommend using it with the blue apps) AND my first .xml work!! I have flashed them all several times and they do indeed work. You may find something off or something you don't like, please post all comments, questions or issues here, NOT in the Venom 4G Rom thread, there is no need to clutter that thread up even more.

blues nice, ive always been a fan for sure of both blue and badssed!! they were all i rocked on the og evo,... and riptides stuff before he became part of badseed.

I tried to search on here and on Google as to what the BrushedChaos skin is but this thread is the only place I find it mentioned. Unfortunately I don't know what I'm looking for in the pictures and there's no links to more info. Is it required to use the dialer?

Updated OP with link to the BrushedChaos skin to eliminate some confusion. Sorry. Also noticed a issue in the blue Dialer, that i will fix as soon as possible. When answering a phone call, the answer and decline button are identical. Sorry

Revised version up. Fixed the "answer/decline" buttons being identical. I f you didn't notice, then I guess ya don't need the fix. lol. If ya did notice and didn't like it, re download the file. I'm not posting a new version, same file name, just revised. SS posted of the fix. Only updated the Blue files, Red did not suffer the issue. If anyone doesnt care for anything, please let me know and I will try to fix it. thanks.

Is there any way you can make the a color change to the selection box that appears when your on a call, the one that allows you to look at the contact card of the person your calling. If you could possibly make that match the same color as your dialer that would be smooth IMO. If its possible I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for the mod.

2. I bricked my phone 3 days ago, I got a replacement, but I'm currently stock and trying to track down a 1.12 hboot instead of the one I got.

Wow! You really want it huh! Welllll, I guess I can try to throw something together tonight, but no guarantee it'll work since I can't test it. I'm currently un-rooted due to a bricked device being replaced.
So... I guess if you know adb well enough to push the stock one back if it fails, I can put something together.
As soon as i am all back up and flashing, ill get somthin full proof for sure.
AND....since you were the first to request it... Did ya want the blue or red so I can do it first?

these are fusion.apk pulled over from the HTC Sensation that has some really great work done to it. i have added a stock Idlescreen_base to the zip so there was nothing wonky done to the LockScreen, with that said i also tired to open both apk files to make sure the lockring was the same even when selection a shortcut from the LockScreen but it still turns stock, but these are some really great fusions. check the first link for screenies as well

Bone stock fusion.apk works well; the only thing I can tell that retains the theming is one of the unlock-ring images
The standard unlock-ring is stock, but when you try to drag one of the four "quick launch" icons down towards the circle, it reverts to the themed-circle with the big blue inlay.
Not that big of a deal, really, I hardly even notice.
The appearance is ok when you drag the unlock circle upwards, only when you drag an app icon down into the circle does it change.

Since were only able to wipe cache and dalvik I'm thinking that's why the ring don't revert back, because that zip has both apks to change the lockring

That's because, (if your post history is correct) you flashed an evo shift theme onto your evo... best bet would be a full wipe and than flash an evo rom followed by a theme for the evo..good luck!

Yeah this is an EVO theme but It's inside and EVO Shift zip (ported), I hope you had a NAND handy, but a good rule of thumb is, if the mod isn't in your phones forums a simple flash is not going to work, the theme is posted at themikmik.com but I doubt it would help you as I'm not familiar with your ROM....BUT I will help you port it to your ROM if you get the devs approval, and have him send me a pm letting me know then I'll pm you tell you how to do it or I'll have you upload your files for me then get them in an EVO flashable zip

Everything but the Rosie.apk will work, so you would still have the white phone icon and the word Phone in the center, it is a very simple xml edit and image edit, let me know and ill try to do it for you or ill tell you how to do it cause my computer died a couple days ago

This is a theme for the new ota 2.17 update for CDMA. This should work on most stock deodexed roms that are updated to the new ota 2.17. I use viper rom and it was made with that in mind, but should work regardless on other stock deodexed 2.17 roms. if you try on another rom and confirm it working please report.

I tried the ICS zip theme with my 2.17 ota update viper rom and it kept freezing up.

I will make an update zip with a darker background for people who have white backgrounds to use.
The issue I'm having is my pulldown doesn't look like the one in the skull pics. My notification backgrounds are white as well as my letters so all I have to go on is the box and the icon for the quick settings. The actual pulldown is clear until i get a notification and its that background that is white. The only changes I've made to 2.5 is a little desensifying.... That wouldn't be the difference would it? Any chance you could repost the notification fix you had out for the previous theme? In my haste I deleted it before I installed 1.2.

I am not sure what exactly is happening. if you flashed over evrything It might not be playing nice. If you could tell me what files you took out for desensifing the rom that would help me out a lot in trying to fix this. I will post an update later that you can flash that might fix this. I am at work but when I get home later tonight I will post an update for this. I know this might be a pain but it would realy help me out, if you were to wipe and do a fresh flash of the rom and then flash the new theme to make sure it works right, and then desensify and see if that causes the problem or not. It might be a matter of the new theme did not flash over somthing nicely and you may need to do a fresh install. I will be on later tonight and will be able to do more then. sorry for the problems.

I tried it a couple different ways with no success...
Wipe, install rom, theme, and then desensed then boot. Lost the entire notification bar.
Then I wiped, installed rom, booted, installed theme then desensed and still no luck. This time I had the bar but still had white background and white text on the notifications. But the pulldown was transparent.
Lastly I did a full wipe then installed the rom then the theme and kept it totally stock and still had the same result

Beautiful Widgets. Looks like the SteelBlueChrome skin.
So I am loving root however my wife has become jealous. I have searched forums and limited for Evo 3D at all and nothing for 2.17.651.5 yet. I have seen requests and themes done for other devices so I thought I would reach out. In this case sense 3.0 and GB 2.3.4 with leedroid 4.0.3 is preferred for ROM or pink for a ROM like Cho's blue ROM or pink theme with leedroid. Built in I can use over fresh or another 2.17 ROM. Any help or suggestions appreciated. I am sure many women and maybe some guys would appreciate this. Oh and a pink market and pink fb would ice the cake for her =) Thanks all.
Any Pink ROMs, Themes, MODs, APKs compatible with 2.17.651.5 I will post here for future requests, needs, or wants. So if you have, make or know link let me know and I will post here. At the point I have something gathered I will update post name to make more usable. here are the themes recommended have not tested all for compatibility with new base so be sure to do nandroid back up and let us know if it works and what ROM you used it on and what Base that ROM runs on. Yes you can run 2.08 base ROMs even if you updated to newest base and radio OTA. you can not however run 2.17 base ROMs if you are on 2.08 Base and Radio OTA. You know, I flashed warmtwopointthree on my wifes phone, then I flashed team d3rp's pink theme over it. The deep pink one, I think, and it has no problems, as far as I'm aware. So perhaps you should check team d3rp's themes out, they are very talented. I know one of their pink themes work with the new OTA. Have you even asked the d3rp's if their themes are comparable with it?

these are all compatible skins you just install and use through the skin manager on the phone...no leedroid, just throwing these out there, i've tried a few of these on mine and they work great...

Looking for more sense. I showed her warm she didn't like it. Love derp stuff I use a bootanim from them. I tried a few pink themes and they didn't work on 2.17.... That's y I started here.

I appreciate it. I use inbREDed so its pretty complete color wise deep into the apps. See blues purples reds greens etc. Looking to go full on pink on hers. Love the skins as it gives a few options. Thank you.

pstevep's pink theme (teamd3rp) he made into an apk for rooted phones AND for non-rooted (for his wife lol) - not quite release ready afaik but if you wanted to try just PM him, I'm sure he'd let you try it.

Thank you steel. Working on getting a full theme or ROM to get full value of root skins don't go as deep. Using project deep pink theme on blackends 2.08 base atm but want to take advantage of 2.17 better performance on a stable pink base. I will share all I get on this thread. Like a collection or repository.

I have 3 E3Ds and have played with multiple 2.08 and 2.17. 2.17 is more responsive and I get more battery life. I am no expert that's personal experience is all.

I dont think your picking up what im putting down here. Firstly, you dont HAVE to flash warm rom, to be able to use a team d3rp theme, you can flash any deodexed rom. Secondly, your supposed to flash the rom for her, without her seeing it, then flash the theme. Then, you can show it to her, lol. Here's my dropbox link to the pink theme I'm using on my wifes phone, it's called "Project_Deep_Pink_v3" http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15304400/Project_Deep_Pink_v3.zip This theme IS compatable with the new OTA 2.17.651.5 update. It's a real nice looking theme, if your a girl and like pink, lol...

it's not themed enough for you? I'm on the newest and it mostly had everything right granted a few white icons in framework and sysui. if you're talking about apps themed outside the rom then check within the past 40 recent pages on the main thread. there's an inverted gapps zip to flash. only thing that didn't work well was talk.apk.
I get what he's saying. The status bar theming is not all there. Just that alone would be huge.
the icons that were left I did on my own and reflashed which was quick and easy since I have certain icons in 33b5e5 saved for upgrades. the white carrier font and white font in quick settings are xml based
Yeh I mean its deff themed nice but I just want something a little more stock looking I love the rom its fast and smooth and my battery lasts forever.

Keep in mind, this is 107.04MB
He literally themed as many apks as he could think of and removed all the green themes along with the framework and system. Took time.
Make sure you do a Nandroid first, then flash in recovery.

In reference to rom version actually. However, it works fine for 1.4 as the 1.4 updated rom was not rebased.

Neo did you add the mms.apk? Also the framework is meant for the 5 point lock if you want the stock one. Ill need to update it for ya.
Also I didn't make any of the pngs. Most were in the bluesky.apk from HTC skin and or on Google.

Yes. Yesterday I downloaded the theme, added both the apks you wanted dropped into them, deleted the originals from the box, and re-uploaded the theme.

not bad. few icons still white but I can touch them up myself. eventually I'll fix the white font xml codes for notifications and quick settings

What work? Like I said most came from HTC apk based of clean Dev rom and random img from Google.
