I simply modified http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=883843 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1562694&highlight=bios+bootanimation and updated it like this :
- 2010 => 2012
- 800 mhz => 1000 mhz
- Android 2.1 => Android 4.1:victory:
How to install :
MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE DOING THIS. :good::laugh:
You need a rooted phone.
You need Super Manager (availaible on market for free).
Using wifi/usb put bootanimation.zip where you want on the sdcard, then cut this file with Super Manager and paste it in /system/media.
or you can flash this file with BOOT ANIMATION FACTRY.
Reboot your phone and enjoy.

There are Unicode fonts that'll do

If you look really close you'll see that I made a tiny mistake in the PSD when it says "...CPU aT 1000MHz". It should be a small "t" there. You may want to fix it!
On my Defy running Quarx 03-03-2012 CM10 ROM, appears that don´t have space to put it

it´s not my rom i used zdzihu freex10-beta4 and tripnraver cyanogenmod rom 1.2
so all credits goes to them.
installation is simple
first update to new baseband .54
second use xrec and install the freex10-beta4-cyanogen.zip
and without reboot the gapps.
reboot the phone and wait like in the freex10 version.

It dont works? are you sure you have USB debugging enabled?, only thing shouldn't work with my Bootanimation Installer, it's preview. Anyway with this everything works as it should.

It´s weird... Now the preview is working with ur installer and the bootanimation u attached. Though, it push the bootanimation, rebooted my phone, but still loading the old bootanimation. I was wondering, perhaps it´s because I am using Andread 2.2.9 Pro v7f?
BTW I would love to use CyaNoComb v1.3 but I guess there is still some CAM issue right? I can´t afford not using 5mp cam for now =/

Maybe try creating a folder on your SD card like when using ultimatedroid does, then put your zip in there & look in settings for bootanimation???? Normally I just put the zip in data/local & it works.... But different roms work different

Thank you very much sir! Rom is working great so far, only thing i can say is that it is a little laggy in storm8 games. I overclocked to 740, not sure if that's what did it. Overall great job!

Thanks for sharing the font! In the past, I've used FontChanger for this type of stuff. If I want to return to the default system font, can I do that through FontChanger or would I need to flash something since it wasn't changed through the app originally?
How do I make room for the backup for fontchanger? What do I need to delete?

I found this zip animation on x10 forum by earbrain. I have tried.this on w8 running gingerdx v025, stock kernel and it.works but quite laggy. Maybe someone can do something about it here. Here is the thred where i found it:

For those who want to leave the visual x8 like the samsung s series, this launcher is perfect.
Ported a GS3, it was adapted for apparatus MDPI.
I tried on my rom with x8 ISCreamDx and it worked. I'll leave here the link of the post and some pictures of it running on my x8.
How to install: Download the file and the file lib TouchwizUXV1.10 MDPI.
With root root explorer or another program, copy the lib and put the lib folder, giving permission rw-r - r -
Copy the file to the folder TouchwizUXV1.10 MDPI app and then restart the machine. Note: You can also install as any apk.
Download in post original.

2.problem with wallpaper when shifting from last to first and first to last page.
