[Q] How to set a different default text input for different apps - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was wondering if there is an app that would allow me to set a different default text input type for different apps?
So for example, I use Swype for text messaging, so I would want to be able to keep that as the default for text messaging apps (or any app that I say it's the default for), but Swype doesn't have any handwriting functionality, so in apps like S Memo (I have a Galaxy S III), I would like to set the default keyboard to the Samsung keyboard, which would then allow me to use the handwriting functionality.
I just think it would also be a neat feature to be able to set whether an app has a different default keyboard, or if it just sticks with the system default (set in the settings menu).
Thanks

[Q] Create a Custom Input Style for Google (AOSP) Keyboard

How can I create a custom input style for the Google Keyboard, like the PC layout that comes standard? There must be a way to do this. We really need something now that Google has totally bunged up the default QWERTY layout with that latest update, removing the apostrophe and hyphen keys and hiding them on the symbol keyboard, and removing almost all the long-press combinations. Thanks!
Did you find a way?

[Q] CM11 - Lockscreen Shortcut Change

Hello, I want to use a different app than the one that is assigned to one of those shortcuts on the lockscreen but when I go through the list of possible apps there are just a few and not a single one that I would like to use.
For example, the lockscreen shortcut change option offers me only one dialer app to assign to the shortcut eventhough i use an entirely different one and there is no other apps browser, which would let me see/choose more apps.
Is there any way how to change the shortcut to whatever app I want?
Nevermind, found out how to do it. I had to re-install CM because of a different issue and now when I choose ,,Apps'' it finally shows me more apps I can choose from, that thing didn't do anything before.

[Q] No possible way to clear default launcher?!

I have a new android phone. I really want to get rid of the horrible stock launcher however I cannot. In application management when I find this piece of stock launcher the clear defaults is grayed out (I am 100% sure this is the launcher). Default management apps show this launcher as the default but again 'clear default' is grayed out. Opening Nova launcher and going into the nova settings and clicking 'set as default launcher' sends me back to stock launcher and has not set the default launcher. At this point I am getting more interested in whether my phone blends or not.
I have tried a bunch of launchers and still I can't set any of them as my default. If they try to set themselves as the default launcher while in them it just quits back to stock launcher. In an application default chooser app that should show the launchers I could be able to use it only had the stock launcher and I cannot unset it, for all other apps it works just fine.
After some testing it looks like the phone does not recognize any launchers (other than stock) and treats them as if they are any other app.
