[Q] Help required about Stock Rom of Atrix and its Installation. - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all
I am in urgent need of help to fix my Atrix 4G.
The Story:
I have an Atrix 4G. It was on 2.2.4 then official update came and I updated it to 2.2.6.
Then I was wondering about installing custom rom. This was my first time to install a custom rom. So I googled and found.
Code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1398819
Neutrino ROM V2.9 [14/08].
So I rooted and unlocked my fone. My fone was successfully rooted and unlocked and I restarted it and there was Unlocked written on Booting Screen.
In this procedure I had to reset the phone so it was back to 2.2.4.
After that I downloaded the above rom put in in SD Card and Downloaded Recovery APK from market and it asked to restart the phone with power adapter plugged to start so I did the same. And recovery started. Then following the instructions I installed the custom rom and it was installed successfully it was my first time so I didnt took any backups unfortunately. So after installation the phone did'nt actually start. It was stuck on Booting Screen with Moto Logo.
So I again googled and started to find the solution some said restart some said remove battery some said wait I tried all but no result.
Then I tried to install the stock rom.Following this
Code:
http://androidforums.com/atrix-4g-all-things-root/510778-flashing-back-stock.html
When i start to run RSD lite it says Creating Image and then throws an error like Unable to send RAM files.
Now I want to fix my Atrix 4g and there is no backup and no recovery mod.
My fone can go into options like Fastboot and RSD Protocol Mode. I mean I can access options on pressing Power and Volume Up/Down buttons.
Can any one please tell me solution? I will be very very thankful.

In fastboot flash recovery
fastboot devices
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot falsh recovery recovery.img
fastboot reboot
Go to recovery mode, try to wipe data, cache and dalvik. If you have Neutrino rom on your internal SDcard you can flash it with recovery.

Fastboot bootloop help

Im stuck in a pickle. I tried to update to neutrino 2.8 but got caught in a boot loop. I followed instructions that worked last time and tried to repair my recovery and it wiped the recovery and all other system data, but fastboot wont reboot or install the recovery image it only wipes the and formats. help please
Your details are not that clear. Either you are not using fastbook incorrect, or you have somehow borked the bootloader/
If the latter, you can try using RSDlite to reflash the bootloader. See the threads on how to unlock your bootloder for these steps. This is as close to going back to square one as you can.
BTW, you might also say how you did this. If just using CWM to install zips it is really hard to screw up your recovery.
I am trying to use fastboot to flash a recovery But when i flash the recovery i get
error cannot load recovery
or
waiting on device
But it will sucessfully wipe and format, just not flash or for some reason reboot the phone
I have it figured out to the point where now i try to flash the recovery and it hangs at
Waiting for Device
I tried everything i can think of
reboot
Re-install drivers
re download file

Can't enter recovery

Hi, I have strange problem I flash ViperX+ OTA, and now my phone can't enter recovery anymore, team venom logo shows and he restarts. OTA was flashed successfully, and I can enter OS normally, just can't get into recovery.
Things I tried:
- I tried to reflash TWRP of venom.
- I tried to flash TWRP latest version, and when I wanted to enter in that recovery phone just shuts down
- I tried to clean cache in fastboot
- I tried to reboot phone in recovery by adb
- I tried to clear dalvik and cache in OS(In Venom Tweaks)
- I tried to erase all from SD card
and with all this I didn't have any luck, so can someone help me what to do, thanks.

Of course. Rec. was working normally until I install that OTA yesterday, I mean if he was locked I won't be able to install ROM in the first place.
Wierd I just manage to flash recovery trough WinDroid Tookit but problem is when I choose custom recovery and pick Venom TWRP he do the same thing when I want to enter like I describe in first post, and with original TWRP that I download from their site too. But when I flash TWRP from WinDroid's menu it's working.

How to get rid off TWRP and flash stock recovery

I've tried everything I've found to get back to stock recover but I'm always greeted with red triangle. Only way to get to recovery back on line is to re-flash twrp. I've tried fastboot method, flasing new firmware, windroid toolkit... nothing works. I can't even flash CWM. So how do I get that damn leech out of my phone?
[edit]
Can't even flash twrp back on..so no recovery in this phone at the moment. Tried using goomanager, but it didn't do it either.

FIrst of all Which phone do you Have (Int) or At&t , now if you have a stock recovery backup then in that case you can just use fastboot to push the image or use "recovery tool " to push it to the boot partition.
In case you are looking for the int stock recovery for the International version of the HOX+

Stock recovery is not ment to do much , unless you have an official signed package to push. I feel you want to have a functional recovery like CWM , it can give it a go .

Problem is that I've tried flashing TWRP and CWM but neither works. Phone boots up ok otherwise, but recovery is gone. Recovery Tool and Goomanager tells that the recovery image flash was completed but it's not or then something else got effed up. fastboot mode works just fine as the hboot.
Tried using RUU, but that doesn't work either because it keeps telling me that the battery level is below 30% and its at 91%. I remember trying RUU few months ago and I ran into the same problem. Back then I tried resetting battery status but that didn't help.

you are doing it wrong....goomanager and recovery tool CANNOT simply flash onto our devices,
you NEED to do ; fastboot flash recovery <insert recovery name here .img>

The fastboot method doesn't work. It does say that the flash was successfull, but there's still no recovery.... and besides, when I had stock recovery months ago, I actually did install twrp with goomanager, not with fastboot.
What I have tried:
1. fastboot flash boot stock_recovery.img with fastboot erase cache (red triangle)
2. fastboot flash boot twrp_recovery.img with erase (phone turns off when entering recovery)
3. fastboot boot recovery.img and twrp_recovery.img (doesn't boot to recovery) (phone turns off when entering recovery)
4. Tried using RUU but that hasn't worked for me ever (always the battery level below 30% error)
5. tried fastboot flash recovery and then flash boot and then erase (and first boot, then recovery) (stock and custom kernels)
6. numerous other ways I cant even remember anymore.
If there only were a rom with all the needed img files, I'd try flash all (or flashing them one by one) but haven't found any.

U tried every possible incorrect things.....and didn't even read Llior's post......
To flash a kernel the fastboot command is
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
To flash a recovery the command is
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
instead of this u had tried to write the recovery file in boot partition...
and the
Code:
fastboot boot recovery.img
is to enter into the recovery without even having to install it on phone....
and I haven't checked it in HOX+ so better flash the boot.img(Kernel) and recovery.img(Recovery) using the mentioned commands above. and erase the cache....(which you seem to do correctly)...

ok i'll base my assumptions here on you using windows, and you don't have filename endings turned on.
i'm guessing you are renaming the files and adding in .img which is a bad idea, as .img is actually there but hidden. if i'm wrong, then try flashing the recovery with the PROPER file name without touching it.
so for CWMR it would be fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
for twrp it would be ; fastbootflash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.0-enrc2b.img

I haven't actually renamed anything (just in here to keep it short). And that 1. & 2. was miswritten. I haven't done fastboot flash boot recovery.img but fastboot flash recovery recovery.img.
I have tried exactly that file you posted but it's a no go (also tried other twrp versions and come cwm's too as well as stock recovery image).
Ive tried it with All-in-one tool as well...The weird thing is that all fastboot flashes or with that allinone tool there are no errors ever, only successfull flashes.

[HELP][OTUS] XT1506 - Stuck at Recovery

I was into the process of rooting my XT1506. Unlocked the bootloader and installed twrp successfully and then in an attempt to installing custom rom via Fastboot, i run the command
fastboot -w
and then when i tried to run "fastboot update rom.zip", it didn't succeed. After that, whatever i do, the phone just boots into recovery and never into the system. Badly need your help, Guys....!!! I shall be really thankful.....
I think i made the thread in wrong section and now i cant find the option to move/delete it. I apologize Mods for this mistake and request them to move it.

If you still have twrp installed, you can wipe everything and flash the custom ROM from the recovery itself.
Tried that too...still it boots into recovery...One more thing i have noticed that in fastboot mode, clicking on "Factory" boots the phone normally.
Is there any problem related with recovery. I have presently Flyrom 5.1.2 installed and recovery is 3.0.1 (also tried twrp-otus-2.7.x), if that helps..
Download any Custom ROM (Lineage OS recommended)
Put that in your SDCard or Internal Storage (USB MTP works in recovery mode)
Go To Wipe Section and check All (Excluding Internal Or MicroSD)
Swipe to format
Then Press the HOME Button
Click on Install
Go to the path where ROM is (Root of the storage is best)
Flash the ROM
Wipe cache/Dalvik Cache (Must Do This)
First Boot may take 15-20 min...
Enjoy :fingers-crossed:
Hit Thanks If I Helped you
Problem solved. I think it was a problem with the recovery. I achieved the solution by flashing stock recovery. Now the phone is booting normal.
I am curious if anybody can suggest me a compatible recovery for this phone. By the way, thanx to all who helped me....You are awesome

That is the same recovery which caused the problems. Anyways, i'll try to put that in again and see if there'll be any difference. Btw, thanx mate..
@ aanishjangra try squid2's port of the recovery and see if it helps, although ensure you flash the recovery and immediately reboot to recovery (Not system) and the ROM gets patched.

[Help] Bootloop on Xiaomir Redmi Note 4X

Hello, I'm kind of new at this (this is my first post) so be gentle
So, the last few days I've been trying to install a new rom on my phone (Redmi Note 4X) and the problems started with the model. I only seem to find Redmi Note 4 roms, and as I've come to find, mine is supposed to be the mido one (correct me if I'm wrong though). I have unlocked the bootloader, I have installed and enabled the fastboot on my phone, so the next step was to install the latest TWRP.
There came more problems; I tried doing this through the app and it just wouln't flash it. So I found a guide on how to root my phone and install a new recovery through adb and I followed it. It didn't work. I couldn't find the right twrp version for my phone. When I finally did realise my phone needed mido, I found the latest from the TWRP website. It wouldn't load through adb again. I found a thread about a fixed mido version, which finally worked for me. But my brother who was helping me, and isn't as much of a noob as I am (he has flashed rom and recoveries many times on his Nexus 5X), decided that I necessarily need the latest twrp if I'm going to flash a new rom, so he flashed the new twrp through the old one, and soft bricked my phone (I think). So I'm searching for a guide to unbrick it. (Which I can't seem to find to work at least).
To conclude;
I have unlocked my bootloader
I have access to the fastboot
I tried to flash a recovery
I failed many times, but I managed it
I flashed the latest twrp and bricked my phone
I don't have access to the recovery
My phone is still on a bootloop
I am not sure about which phone model I have
Help!
Thanks in advance.
1. Just check your phone model on its box. If its Snapdragon version (Mido), then just install it via fastboot. (code: fastboot flash recovery twrp-midoxx.img). If you are success, then try to reboot to recovery (fastboot boot twrpmido-xx.img). After booted, then you just manage to rom.zip you want to install. If you don't have it, then download it before from your PC and push it to your phone. Or just enable Mtp checklis from TWRP n copy that file to your internal phone/sdcard. Wipe all/factory reset except internal storage. Then you dan install rom.zip normally. N reboot. (Note: if you are on MIUI and wanted to always stay on it, just flash the file called lazyflasher.zip. n' wipe cache n art cache only then reboot). Flashing custom recovery on stock MIUI Will manage the device Going to bootloop)
2. If you have mediatek version (nikel), searching the fastboot Rom from miui website and flash it normally via fastboot. (SP Flash tool)
Warning: flash the wrong rom file into wrong phone Will make your device brick. So becarefull n knowing what model/code name you have.

Firstly, enter fastboot mode on your device. Connecting to pc and flashing the twrp for mido. "fastboot flash recovery twrp-mido.img". Then boot to it using " fastboot boot twrp-mido.img". Then you will enter the recovery (twrp) in a second. Copy the lazyflasher into your phone (enable mtp first in Mount option in twrp) that you downloaded from pc. Just flash the lazyflasher.zip and reboot.
And why you don't want to flash lazyflasher when it very easy to flash it using recovery twrp? adb? You mean android debugging? Actually, you cant flash a .zip file into your system partition except through fastboot mode. However, fastboot mode (in cmd) only recognize a .img file. I just try to tell you the easier method to make your device boot up.
