My wifi will not stay connected. I have searched the forums and have not found an answer yet. Any help is appreciated. Please let me know what info is needed to help trouble shoot.

Download 4ext recovery and use the wipe all except sd card before flashing. Cwm is extremely outdated and people are having issues like that after using it.

Maybe try to download the Rom again. Then reflash in 4ext.

At least I have unlimited data, lol. Still would be nice to have WiFi working because we only have a weak 3G signal at our home.
Did it work before you started using that Rom? My other suggestion would be to try a different ics Rom. Sorry I wasn't able to help but you're not the only with that problem. I'm surprised that no one else hasn't tried to help.

Yea it is a great build it sucks you're having WiFi problems. Have you tried changing channels on the phone side?

I had the same issue, I used the tweaked combo radio that used the .19 CDMA radio, with the leaked ICS LTE radio.
Well, I don't know how or why but it works now. I got mad and took the battery out and left it for a day. When I put it back in and turned it on it was working.

Question concerning this ROM as well. My signal bars either constantly indicate 2 bars for the 4 bar version, or full for the 6 bar signal version, and nothing else unless I am not on 4G. I saw someone posted this question somewhere else about a week ago or longer but I have been unable to locate it since I have been using the ROM. My data connection is usually fine so I wasn't sure if it'd be the radio I'm using or something with the ROM and if I may need to reflash.

I'm having that now with every rom I flash. GB and ICS based. It seems worse with ICS leaks, but it's a problem for me across the board.

I am also having this problem and I am stock. I wish I never took the ota cause I am also having battery life issues and getting warm problems. I did a hard reset and still having the WiFi issues, but the others I can't tell yet.

Hi this worked for me. I'm stock and experienced connection issues with my wifi...sitting 2 feet from the router!!! Never had any problems connecting anything via wifi b4.
Go to settings>>wifi>>menu>>advanced. in the advanced section there is a radio button to enable Best Wi-Fi performance. Once activated I had no more connection problems.

I did this and it worked for me briefly but then reverted to "authenticating" and then telling me it is the wrong access key for the network. I don't understand why it's doing this but at least for me it seems to be a 1.22 based problem as everything I've run with the prior firmware has been fine....

Your problem is different. Mine was dropping WiFi signal and then self reconnecting. Not anymore though. Your problem I have not came across. Have u tired running the ruu and reset your router?

I've reset the router multiple time and even gave my EVO a static ip to see if that would work. I guess I'll ruu and see if that will help. It's weird though.

I know I "was" and this is my theory and it has actually worked for me but first let me start from beginning. I got new tbolt because having this issue, I rooted and install ROM and everything seem as it was fine until I decided to connect to myverizon app and as soon as I did I started experiencing the toggling off and on again. So I decided to un-install myverizon app and reflash radio again and sure enough everything fine now. Well like I said just my theory but I think if u log in to myverizon app its causing this data problem. Inconclusion if you un-install myverizon app and reflash radio you shouldn't have any more data connection problems.

I constantly have to log in to My Verizon app. It's just part of how the ROM that im using works. I'm running Jellyblur 1.3 and have 4G data drops without even moving my phone on my desk at work. Considering I don't stay logged into My Verizon, I don't see how uninstalling it and reflashing my radio would make a difference. I love a good conspiracy theory though!

I'm saying don't use at all. Yes to update to see how much data u have used u have to constantly log in to update. What I'm saying is if u don't use at all don't even log in to myverizon. Give it a try... Delete myverizon don't re install flash radio again and tell me if your data connection is still dropping.

I did flash the .9 radio afterwards and noticed no drops now. I can't confirm the correlation between the drops and My Verizon. It could just strictly be that this radio version works better for me. Sorry, boss, but I like where your head's at!

For what it's worth, I never installed the My Verizon app on any of my ROMs and only had it while stock, which was a year ago. I still got major 4G connectivity issues a few months ago like so many others. Made the phone damn unusable at times.

I went radio happy a month ago and flashed them like they were ROMs. Tried probably 5 or 6 of them. I even tried different combinations of CDMA and LTE radios separately. No significant changes although the .9 or .19 radios seem to work equally well for me.

i was having this problem with juice defender and i switched to the beta and now im fine it may be a program like that causing your problems
I'll type more later I'm on the road but yeah basically I can't get mobile data turned on with any sense ROM I try. any aosp ROM works fine nice and quick. Sense won't let me configure apns and never connects. In phone status it says I'm on lte and not roaming but doesn't do anything. When I toggle mobile data it tries to turn on twice then just says disconnected. Idk what else to try. I need Bluetooth audio though cause I'm a trucker just going out over the road. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance.

OK seriously wtf... Installed twice again now. First time was same as before. Wiped back to cm10 and data works fine. Wipe again and reinstall sense ROM (nos m7) again. Then said I was roaming. Wouldn't let me change APN settings at all. So I reboot. Then it says no service at all, please insert sim card. Reboot and restore my cm10? Everything works perfectly, back on 4g lte not roaming. Any input? What in the hell causes that? I'm so confused. It makes zero sense to me. I guess in just waiting on Bluetooth audio to get fixed I suppose.

Yes. It'll say preparing sim card then no signal. Then when I switch back to CDMA/lte it sometimes gets signal back and others says insert sim card and rebooting doesn't bring signal back I have to reinstall cm10. It really genuinely makes no sense. I've run sense ROMs just fine before, even custom ones since I got moonshined. I'm on the road and only have 4gb that i use for skyping the wife so I can't just download 1gb ROM files willy nilly to try you know? Ha.

Cm 10.2 looks ok as a release candidate, and oppo can flash that on your device before it leaves the factory, if you're getting one of those truly unlocked phones with great features, too.
Try the one built on rootbox with the cool stuff...

Lte and gps work on vzw jedi 17. Im using it right now. You have to do the get gps lock and restore to jedi trick to get gos though.

Agree with michigan66. While I am not using it right now, I have used Jedi17 and GPS/LTE both worked. You have to do the GPS fix like he said, but that is a multicarrier rom so it doesn't matter that it is international.
Sweet ill look into it. Also waiting on jedi x18 which I guess fixes these issues dor verizon users

Its in the thread a lot. If you flash scroslers patch he made for note 2 roms from other carriers you will have signal bars. V18 is coming soon though. Pmtr said it is fixed in that.

Ya I have the same issue. Except my gps wont work. And ive tried every suggestion to try and fix it. Jedix18 is coming soon (a day or so) and apparently this has all been resolved.

Tried 18 on vzw Note 2 today and immediately tried getting a GPS lock with no luck. I have never be enable to get a lock using Jedi and I have tried all the tricks. I hope you have better luck than me. Hate to say it but I am deleting Jedi files from my SD card and giving up.

Your GPS works AND you get a lock. Meaning open Maps and pull down the shade and see "location set by GPS"? And the little symbol stops flashing and is solid?

I downgraded from ICS to GB using a guide on phandroid. I believe it may have something to do with the way I flashed it, or the network not recognizing me, but I am unsure. I'm open to suggestions!
If your downgrade method didn't involve flashing the GB radios than there would be your problem. It wouldn't hurt to flash the latest GB radios just for kicks.

Yea, I'm certain I flashed the GB radios in recovery, my good man. Could it be something else? Could you verify what I need to set my M.IP, and PPP settings to, if you know?
As long as you are on Verizon I don't see why you would have to.

Oops! Maybe I should've added... I flashed it to boost, and I have talk and text working. Data icon displays 1x. I'm trying to get the 3g to kick. I'm using the info from my Incredible 2, which i flashed with the same account over a year ago. Everything works fine on the Incredible 2. Just no 3g on the thunderbolt.
The droid incredible 2 is a global phone and the bolt isn't. The radio in the bolt isn't capable.

The bolt doesn't have an antenna that will be able to connect with the frequency boost uses for data.

3g is a different frequency from 1x. Same for lte it's a different frequency too.

Oh I see. So what do you make of those people who claim to have it working, and posted screenshots of their bolt on 3g? Are they frauds? It does work for certain carriers. Page plus comes to mind but it had been a long time since I've heard of another carriers working.

Cool! Well thanks anyway. I'm trying to find a way to program it to my service. Just to get the settings right, and see what happens after that. For all I know, I have the settings right, and it just won't work.
Best bet would be to pick up a sprint phone that's not locked down via ESN (correct term?). Since Boost is basically Sprint's pay as you go service.
