[Q] Looking for a 3rd party Messaging App that supports Direct Call Motion - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All,
i am hoping that there's a Messaging Application that can hide a certain contact conversation like the Private Box from GoSMS..
However the GoSMS does not support our phones Direct Call motion, the feature that automatically calls the person in the message conversation.
I already sent an email to GoSMS devs asking them if they can make the application supported by the direct call but still no response.
Do you guys know any app that has the function that i written above? please do let me know
Thanks!

Instant Messaging SMS!

Hey
I had this app on my mobile that meant when I sent a text it looked like an instant message and I really liked it although it came with a terrible contacts application.
Is there anyway I can simply have the Instant Messaging SMS service without the custom contacts app?
If so, please can you direct me to it or a download link or whatever!
Thanks!

[Q] Add development - forward/divert incoming calls

Dear users,
i'm a new junior developer with no experience on Android.
I would like to ask you (skilled developers) if you think is possible to find a way to develop an app to intercept incoming calls and forward/divert them to another a Google talk, Skype etc. or voip extension through a phone's internet connection (wifi, hsdpa..).
In case is not possible with the official functions, can be done on rooted phones?
[In case there is not chance It maybe possible using a trick/automation like intercept the incoming calls and use the installed app (skype..) to call another contact and forward the voice]
Thanks in advance and sorry if i missed some already present similar thread (i didn t find any)

[Q] KitKat bug: SMS sent from non-default app results in duplicate outgoing message

Using GlowFly, SMS Enhancer, and SMS Popup (all similar apps), and their Quick Reply feature, stock messaging and Chomp both show the same message going out twice (the recipient actually receives one message).
I believe this is because of KitKat's new requirement of a default SMS app being the only one that can send. However, Quick Reply circumvents it, and I think it results in this bug.
Anyone know what I can do to fix it? I love the feature.
Thanks!
Please let me know if this is not the right forum.

Call confirm app

I had an app on my HTC U11 that allowed me to confirm yay or nay before I put the call through, It is not working on this phone. I have installed another 4 apps, all not working so I'm assuming it has something to do with Android 9.
Has anyone got any suggestions please. I tend to make accidental phone calls
Where do you start a phone call from?
From the contact list?
Yes, and I also have a widget which displays my favourites (contacts) None of the apps I have installed work
Some dialer app can enable a confirmation popup before calling.
However widget initiated calls are generally not provided with this functionality.
Call confirm
I found it!! It's called "tiny call confirm"!!
You're welcome!! ?

Auto Reply for MISSED CALLS i.e. Text Message

Hello,
I believe Android removed the feature for most apps to auto reply a Text Message for a Missed Call recently. For example you can download an App that will Auto Reply to a Text Message but not a Missed Call.
Anyone know of an App that is working for both today? Text Message and Missed Calls? Set for example a Vacation Time and it works for that period of time?
My phone is not rooted; nor do I really want to root it. However, I guess I could if I really had too; but I prefer not too.
Thanks!

There is an app on google play that works today with Pie that auto responds to text messages.
If you contact the developer they can send you an app that will work with Text Messages and Missed Phone Calls.
an App that is working for both Text Message and Missed Calls is finally here (outside of Google Play)
