The problem is Titanium, Battery Calibration say the phone is not rooted but Barclays applications doesnt want to install cos it says the phone is rooted.....
Dont know what to do

Yes im rooting my phone with tpsparkyroot.. my device is gt-19300 cpu smdk4x12.. same with ur phone? if its based on mt6575 tpsparkyroot method

I use antutu benchmark.. smdk4x12 ( actually is mt6575 cpu ) thickness of my phone is 8.6mm.
from the link u post, i think our phone is different model.. my phone dont have speaker grill at the bottom back. but ur phone is mt6575..

I recently bought this phone: Feiteng GT-I9300 MTK6575 like the one here:

Then I flashed it with SP Flash Tool. The phone turn on well and I have access to the recovery mode. The problem is I can't use my touch panel and the menu and back keys! only physical keys work. So I'm stocked at the slide page!
Do anybody have the same phone?
If so is it possible to have a backup of this phone with all necessery files by using this posts?:

This is how I rooted my S3 i9300 mtk6577 you can try this but with caution and at your own risk.
- Install the MTK6577 usb drivers http://www.4shared.com/rar/0MvyztbR/...oid_ZTE_.html? cau2=403tNull
- Download the rooting .rar file (v2) from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1886460
- Enable USB-Debug option from settings and Close all apps;
- Connect the phone to USB and click RunMe.bat file and select option 3
- Click Restore option on mobile to backup data.
- Mobile should reboot twice and the command prompt on ya PC shows this msg: "Successful, going to reboot your device!"
Install RootChecker from play store and verify the phone is rooted or not.
Install TitaniumBackup from play store and take full backup.
Use "Root App Delete" from play store to delete Chinese apps
PS do this with caution.

I got my phone rooted, then installed RootAppDelete and removed all unwanted chinese apps. Every thing went fine and phone is working very well except three features (Dialer, Contact and Message), whenever I open any of them get an error msg:
System is not authorized and will automaticlly shut down (screen short attached)

My gps,wi-fi tether, mms, wcdma is not working. I instaled mobile uncle that could help me solve my problems, but whatever i try to do,

Any firmware in this forum will work as long as its definitely an i9300. Double check it cause you don't wanna end up with an expensive door stop.

First off, download Root checker from playstore and see if you are rooted.
Back up EFS with kTool.
If so try installing Busybox* (Version 1 / Version 2) and keep it running in background (home button). Then install Galaxy S unlock and run it.
*If one version doesn't work, try the other one. Remember to keep it running in background.

Yes even it was rooted, it didnt work so I rerooted through ODIN and installed/rooted another CF_ROOT version. Now it works great!

You need to flash with odin app (for using Odin, please use a search engine) modem_xxxxxx_.tar file for your country and your operator, using the "Phone" button.
You may need to flash a CSC file for your country or region.

i had this same problem. Maybe you only forget wipe data before instalation of new ROM. When i made wipe and reset to factory settings, i got my operator
May be your ROM is not supporting the current baseband
Please check and install the correct baseband version for you ROM. I had the same problem when I first installed a custom rom in my LG optimus p500. Once I installed the correct baseband I go the signal

Flash a compatible kernel. That should do it
This is the best fix for no service after flashing rom
Steps are as follows:
(1) Make sure you are connected to wifi
(2)Open Google Play Store
(3) Search "Whatsapp"
(4)Install the app
(5) Open it
(6) Signup with your phone number.(Phone number does not display in settings but you should know it)
(7)Its gonna verify with a text message(Phone must be in service)
(8) Its gonna verify and open
(9)Whatsapp is a running app and it configures your phone better than any other method.
**Second Option is to get someone to text and call**

I can help, you will need to pull the stock recovery from your device then use some XDA user made tools to port your stock recovery into a custom recovery that will allow you to simply flash a root.zip to gain root access then use SP flash tool to upload it back to device. I would like to put other rom on it (with dutch) but impossible to root phone and I don't know what rom would work as I don't know the brand.
I can't get in recovery mode neather, tried different button combinations (volume down/home button) but nothing works

Could you help me please with your knowledge? Myself don't have any knowledge

Before you install it , do a full Backup of your phone .

Unfortunately there is no GPS in this phone
Hi guys! Im a newbie here, i do have the same phone with the TS, however, i messed up with my vold.fstab file.
I cannot access my SDCARD though it was inserted.
**I did that swapping the INT to EXT CARD thing. And my biggest mistake was I didnt made the back up file of the original file before i changed it.

Open your smartphone , and check the screen connector ( the one on the right side of the back camera) , maybe he is not correctly attached.

Thanks man,you're right,I pressed on the right side of the camera and the screen started to work.Tell me the next step,how to open the back side of the phone and to fix the screen connector or where can I see how to open that.Thanks again.:good:

sorry a bit dumb but how do i install those files? on the phone itself or the pc? please give me instructions im quite new to this and i have been trying to root my mt65xx for days now but my device seems to be similar to yours. PLEASE HELP

I'm trying to somehow get Danish language on it. Tryed different "locale apps" from Play Store, not working.
Got it rooted with cydia impactor so i could get it backed up with MtkDroidTools.

To Runmo; in this rom it says Nederlands in Language settings.
So looking for a rom with Danish language, and it would be great if it is a newer version than 2.3.6 Gingerbread also.
