Carrier Flashers - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

I flashed this device to verizon and it worked fine until i ran a program called wifi kill. Idk what the program did but it reverted all of my flash information back to sprint. So i had the flash redone again and now Im having issues.
I can make calls and send texts but i cannot receive the calls. The calling phone gets the ringing tone but the HTC does not ring at all. also I cannot receive texts. I text myself and the texts only come in when I make an outgoing call on the device or when i first torn on the device, the texts come in but after 10 seconds, no more texts enter the phone.
Can anyone help or have any clue to why this has happened?
And my data is working fine. 3G

Do you have the Verizon prl installed? Other than that it might be screwy bc you're not supposed to be on that network. Verizon doesnt recognize your number?
I'm sure you have heard it all before, but sprint can terminate your account for doing what you're doing.

i got it all sorted out. No i dont have an account with sprint. I specifically bought this phone to flash it. I bought it with a bad esn.

AKey

Hello,
I looked around a bit about finding the A-key. I just had my phone remotely fixed for the authentication problem, but they never told me the A-key even though I asked.. I was wondering if there was a way to pull it off the phone..
This is verizon, the akey is blank in EPST.. I tried CDMA Workshop and it got a bunch of crazy info but errored out on when getting the a-key. I also looked through qpst but it doesnt look like a-key is in there(under service programming).
Anyone have any ideas? Im about to start flashing and Id hate to be on the phone with verizon for another couple of hours every time this happens.
Before I called verizon I even tried generating my own Akey with that akey calculator but that didnt really work..
Thanks
some verizon service areas do not use an akey stored on the phone but instead they authorize in their sytem based on your esn and some identifier your radio sends them. This is the way it is in my area. the verizon tech told me all of their systems will be moving this way, supposed to help prevent phone cloning and some other security issues.
I was assured that all i would need to do is call if it tells me phone not authorized and they will correct it.

Ah I see so you're saying that it actually is blank not just hidden away..
Alright, thanks.
I gotta say im thinking this is true. I just flashed my phone to NexVisions rom and cant activate so im gunna have to wait till morning to get it activated because tech support stops working in the middle of the night i guess. If its as simple as it sounds, I will report back as such.
Soooo I left the phone plugged in on the otherside of the house (I figured I cant get calls why bother bringing it im my room) and it wasnt able to make calls i figured no out no in so i shouldnt be able to get calls. I wake up this morning to 16 missed calls because someone called in at work and Im the only one who can work.... it activated at some point in the night. *228 worked just fine... completely baffled... just worked out of the blue, does this have something to do with recieving calls? any ideas?

When it wasnt authenticated before i called verizon I got the calls but I couldnt answer them and they would be missed calls after one ring or so.. Maybe thats what was happening in ur case..
Could be that verizons systems updated themselves or something..

No incoming calls

My ATT HOX+ is not receiving incoming calls.
I am not sure when it started.
I rooted with Hasson's tool several days ago and I have no other problem that I know of. Not sure if rooting is responsible or not.
I can receive calls from my GF's ATT iPhone, but I get no image of her for some reason.
I do not get calls from my ATT landline (not U-verse VOIP).
I do not get calls from my mothers landline, she does have VOIP from something other than ATT.
Data, wifi, sms, mms, all seem to be fine,
Any advice is greatly welcome

You could run the RUU and see if that clears up the issue. If not, then you know it is a phone or network issue.
Tried everything that seemed safe to try.
Called ATT, the nice person took me off network and back on again while I had the sim card out.
Fixed the problem with my landline not being able to call, but not my mother not being able to call.
The tech is sending my to get a new sim card on the off-chance it is the culprit, but believes that it is a network problem.
I will check back with an update later incase anyone else has a similar problem.

I'm having the same problem as are others. Found this fix which might help.
http://www.andromods.com/fix-troubleshoot/fixing-htc-one-x-plus-cant-receive-calls-voicemail-problem.html
I'm experiencing this problem as well. It doesn't matter who tries to call me from what, but calls only make it through about 5% of the time, which is completely unacceptable. The calls that don't make it through won't go to voicemail. Half the time it rings endlessly, the other half it will give some message saying the call cant be completed.
When I first got the phone, I didn't switch my data plan to an LTE plan right away (Best Buy didn't require me to do so, and AT&T insisted that I had to switch to their $30/mo plan so I kept my $25/mo plan for the first few weeks). During the time I did not have an LTE data plan I experienced no issues with the phone. A few weeks back I noticed that AT&T was now giving me an option for a $25/mo LTE plan, so I switched to that. That exact day is when I started not being able to receive phone calls.
Other things I've noticed since switching to the LTE data plan:
When I make calls, I often have to try 2-3 times before I can get the call to go through. Sometimes as soon as I try to make the call, the phone beeps at me. Sometimes it will hang for a good 10 seconds before it starts to ring.
Occasionally my phone will stop recognizing the SIM card, requires reboot.
Occasionally I'll lose my data connection, requires reboot.
Text messages some times take over an hour to send/receive, sometimes this is solved by a reboot, other times not.
I went to an AT&T store, they tried switching out my SIM card, but did not help me any further because I bought the phone at Best Buy. (I wanted to argue with the rep, because I had bought my Atrix from Amazon, and the same AT&T store helped me with the problems I had with that phone). The rep fed me some garbage saying that some phone numbers just don't work with HTC phones. Fed up, I left the store.

i527 Mega Blacklisted and now

I have the AT&T Galaxy Mega i527 I got the phone a little over a month ago and had it unlocked and running on T Mobile perfectly well a few days ago it stopped working so after calling Samsung and making a few more calls I'm being told im Blacklisted, so after paying The Unlock Pro's to fix this im getting full Data at over 10MBPS at all time and as far as I can tell my Text work but Calling Out/Receiving Calls has major issues! when it does(rarely does) call out it will take forever to start ringing and most of the time it will drop the call..please help!!

If your getting full data you can use various apps to make and receive calls and text like mo+ or grooveip to name a few. I believe you need a google number to use the aforementioned. There are some that provide a number for you like talkatone.

Those will all stop working as of mid-May. Google will be disabling external VoIP functions then.
Another alternative is skype. I pay 2.99 a month for unlimited calling in the US, you can also receive calls from landlines through skype. I think that service is like $7 a month. Hopefully this will help with your problem.

Google for checkesnfree, can verify if phones are blacklisted there.
Possible 1)
Dial *#0011# with your sim card inside. Look for something called "IMEI CERT". If it says "Fail" (or not listed at all) then the problem is "The Unlock Pro's" have buggered your NVM. And without a proper backup of your original NVM, nothing to do.
Possible 2)
Flash the stock modem for your Mega (newest version only) and kernel only. Wipe data/factory reset, then reapply your APN settings. Make sure to do a manual select on the network.
Possible 3)
Dial *#06#, write down your IMEI, then pull your battery out and look at the sticker on back and see if the IMEI on the sticker matches. If it doesn't then they have altered your IMEI (which is illegal by the way), and put your IMEI to one that is in use by another phone.
thanks for all the reply's!!! do you guys kno where I could download the modem for this phone?? I had to download an re-install the modem on my Unlocked AT&T S3 I747 I had on Metro
just to give a update im still having the calling out/receiving calls problem , the company I paid 60 to fix the IMEI refuses to even respond to my e-mails.. I jus find it weird im still getting full data at all times and the phone has the 4G LTE sign at the top right of the screen until I go to make a call then it jus goes to a regular 4G sign with no LTE. also I've noticed the calling out/receiving calls feature works fine depending where im at like for instance I went to the hash bash in Ann Arbor the other day and everything was working fine.. im thinking im going to just send the phone to Joe The Android Rooter and see if he has luck getting it figured out. I'm jus sick of this thing being a money pitt..

I too have had that issue... I was using ringplus though and thought that it was their fault.
Mine doesn't do it. Not sure what the heck is going on. She gets texts and etc no problem. Not sure if hardware or network problem. Taking to Sprint store tonight. Manufacturers warranty expires tomorrow so need to get this resolved

Have you tried the ##UPDATE# in the dialer yet? Or even ##SCRTN#. Those don't hurt anything.
took it back to sprint and they sent her a new one. will keep ya posted if it continues
My phone doesn't receive texts or calls on 3G but when I'm on LTE it works perfectly. Also even on 3G I can call out. It is just incoming that I'm having issues with. I have tried all of the ## codes. ##72786#, ##873283#, ##786# and still it is not working.. I have also tried profile updates and PRL updates. I am out of warranty so I have to fix this myself. Any ideas?
Well new one has same problem. Their solution is to send us an airave evidently
That bites... Hopefully it fixes your issue though.

Can't get verizon SIM card to work on Moto e

I just can't seem to find anyone with the same issue.
My girlfriend broke her phone recently and we went to get a cheap one until we have the money to get a much better phone. She has a 4g LTE sim card activated with Verizon already, but when we plug it in everything seems to be working fine, except she can't make outgoing calls or texts or use data. She can receive calls and texts, but can't send them. And everytime she tries to make a call it automatically sends her to a verizon number much like *611. This happens when calling any number. I think something is blocking outgoing anything because when we first plugged in the SIM card for about 2 minutes she could send messages. We've tried other SMS apps, and the default Verizon SMS app says "sending disabled" when trying to send a message.
Any ideas on how to get around this or unlock the phone? I don't need the unlock for other carriers, since we already have Verizon.
Thanks
Not a vzw subscriber, so no personal experience, but I've seen a couple posts here referring to a fairly new vzw policy that disallows use of postpaid Sims in prepaid devices. Think it automatically locks your account, and you have to call to unlock.

Verizon rolled out a new policy on January 17th requiring postpaid users to pay for one month of prepaid service ($30) before being able to use the phone on postpaid. Not doing so "hotlines" the account. You'll either need to pay the first month, or stick the SIM into a non-prepaid phone, call up *611, and have the rep remove the hotlining.
