Adobe Flash Player for Android. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

As we know that Adobe Flash Player 11 will not be updated anymore for Android. Do Android have any solution for this?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app

Use the site in my signature. I put apk links to the latest versions straight from Adobe's servers. Also there is a play store link that will allow you to download directly from Google Play unless you have JB then you have to use the apk link.

Thanks for the info.

When will S II users get Jelly Bean?

Thanks Works good

There is no solution, because it's not needed. All websites countaining videos should be written in HTML5

Yes flash is being phased out of convention, you won’t be able to download flash from the Play Market. That however doesn’t mean that you can’t get it.User can Manually install flash on their Samsung Android Device

Thanks for info, was very helpful

The international version of the S II is expected to be updated to Jelly Bean in Q4 2012, with the carrier specific variants coming some time after that probably by the first half of 2013. You can check out an article on Samsung's Jelly Bean update schedule here:

[Q] Flash Player 11

I've noticed that the Razr no longer allows viewing of web sites that used to be viewable with flash player 11. Is there any app that will function as a substitute? Thanks!
Yes it's called Flash Player. Clear the data for Flash, uninstall it, then install the latest one from Adobe's website or find a mirror to it. It works.

I'll try that thanks. Flash player is not listed on google play because it's no longer considered compatible, but I'll keep looking.

[Q] jelly bean flash player fix?

I was unable to find an answer for this question.
I upgraded my GSII SGH-i777 to jelly bean os and am running the siyah kernel. At startup the screen displays "i9100"...
Since the upgrade, flash video sites tell me I need flash 10.1... When I attempt to update my flash player it says that the flash player update isn't compatible with my device.
What do I need to do to fix this?
Download the flash player apk from Google and install.

U didn't day Google search. U said download it from Google. Google has no download. I was simply posting what u said in a different manner so others knew what u meant and didn't come in here with posts about how they couldn't find it in the play store or something all good.

Try sideloading the app

No, I installed the app manually when I was on ICS and it's worked eversince. Install the app manually and visit a flash site (flashplayer games or albino blacksheep site etc) see if it works. Let me know mate.
Ten million posts on here saying Flash not supported in JB .
Look for the Flash mod/fix post .

Hi jje, I read alot of posts explaining that and still thought i'd try installing that apk a while back and it currently still works. I know you have alot more knowledge than me and you have helped me out in the past regarding the android system and I was shocked to see that F/P is still working for me. Checked on numerous sites including adobe flash site.
To be honest I rarely use it but none the less.
Just a note, once you install that flash player apk. Flash will work in every browser other than Google Chrome (Google want you to use html5 instead)

You can download the latest working flash directly on Adobe site, download page, older versions section.

Maybe you are usung google apps for business?
If so, you have to activate google now in your apps for business administration settings.
Hope that helps,

Region Dependent maybe?
I'm not sure though but Google Now may be region dependent? I have the same problem with the recent 4.1.2 update here in the Philippines. I will try to install a UK firmware and well see how it goes.

Google now is location dependent thus, it wont work on some network/country/region... just like google wallet. It was working when I was in the US but not here in the Philippines.

Instagram v4.0 Video??

Okay supposedly Instagram with new video feature has been rolling out for most android devices running 4.1+
I have an SGS3 and I haven't even got the update yet Htc Evo's, etc have it. I can't even view any videos from pesky iPhone users!
To anyone that has the 4.0 update, can you upload the apk and mirror it for me? Thanks
I'm interested in this too... It appears my Note II isn't supported?
Yea for whatever reason it doesn't show up for me either. Which makes no sense. SGS3 running 4.2.2
nor is my Note 1... damn it!
Supposedly using the new staged rollout feature.
Hopefully someone can grab the APK soon as iOS already has it.
They are probably going to throw out an update in a few to make it compatible for our phones
