Asus Nexus 7
Eos is an android custom rom for a wide range of devices. We support phones and tablets alike. From the Motorola Xoom, to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, to the Asus Nexus 7.
We proudly base all of our modifications off of the Android open source project, and try to (whenever feasible) develop all of our modifications without basing them off of others work (kanging).
Even though we try our hardest to ensure that every single build is as stable as possible, we can't guarantee that every build will be stable. However, most of our users agree that our nightly roms are very much stable and are considered "daily drivers".
Android 4.1.1 AOSP based.

Nope, you're more than welcome to stay on the nightly releases. The only difference between nightly #31 and stable 3.0 is that a few headers in the Settings application have been changed. This fix will also be included in the next nightly

Hey thanks for the solid ROM. If you are taking feature requests, I find the option to turn off the need to click "OK" after entering the pin on the lock screen quite convenient.

This ROM is awesome as ever. I've been clean of my crack-flashing addiction for 5 weeks. Thank you Team EOS!

I'm just going to start fresh as I was on build 31. However, before I was able to decreased it without issues. Also I have been having issues with Google Play Music and streaming. Hopefully a fresh start can fish everything.

To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks.
This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode.
This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even systemcomponents individually.
Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course.
Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on.
This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.
Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet/Nexus-7UI, TabletUI) and/or a size.
You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to.
You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot.
You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode.
Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself.
This project will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the feel of your phone.

Notta's PA Rom works and is stable.
I don't see why there is another version of a great Rom. I know the more roms are better but if you going to produce a copy of a Rom, you have to go better and newer version not old. I don't mean to come off as a sick or trolling but I've been running PA since day one and Notta's version is a beast.

That is like saying why so many Sense roms? We already have one.
Why make an ics rom when jb is out?
Some prefer a solid rom and Swiper does update.
Who else is doing that for PA?

Was it necessary for you to enter this thread to voice your opinion? (Rhetorical) You were just open to another PA ROM from another "dev" and now you've got a negative outlook. Voice your opinions on Twitter. Come here to commend or in a helpful manner. It's not that hard.
Hope this gets updated ..love PA Roms

UNOFFICIAL BUILD FOR BACON BY QUBEX
Welcome to VanirAOSP
Our mission is to deliver a clean optimized version of Android to as many devices as possible. This is not a kang rom. You will find versions of the features you love that we've rewritten and improved on plus a few we wrote ourselves. we've tried to acheive a more organized and cohesive setup to improve the user experience while correcting any performance regressions and improving functionality.
If you're the kind of person that needs options to change the font and color on every letter and expect the ROM to end up looking like kid's cereal box then GTFO. You will not find customizations that are done just because someone figured out how to do them. Everything in here has a purpose and is held to a high standard of coding.

What is this?
CM12 built for the OnePlus One from source
Minor changes have been made.
Changes over stock CM12:
Lollipop Boot Animation.
[*]Enabled Ambient Display (think Peek, or Moto's Active Notifications) (will work on that again)
My Gapps package:
Removes AOSP apps (Browser, MMS, VoiceDialer, Launcher, Calendar and Keyboard) - They are replaced with Google alternatives
Includes more Google apps (Drive, Keep, Maps, Youtube. Play Music, Google+. Calendar, Camera, Chrome, and Keyboard) - Remember these are stored in /system partition so its saves you space in /data/
Bugs:
Minor instabilities might occur.
Source:
https://github.com/SouzPear-Conglomerate/android
Changes:
11/22/2014
Ambient display finally works!
Advanced reboot in developer settings (reboot to recovery etc)
Double tap to wake enabled
Software nav bar can be toggled in settings now (No need for my zip)
CM Privacy Settings enabled
New blobs makes everything better
No dancing wifi status icon
Kernel has video recording fix
Video/Music playback should be better now (Defaults to AwesomePlayer)
Netflix plays now.

New proprietary blobs https://github.com/TheMuppets/proprietary_vendor_oppo (Fixs qualcomm location service, and all around more stable)
Documents viewer/Download manager does not force close anymore
Clear all recent apps does not force close.
Enabled ambient display again.. Still does not appear to be working however.
11/18/2014:

Replaced com.qualcomm.location with google location service in config.xml (might help GPS/location issues)

Gapps : http://fitsnugly.euroskank.com/?rom=banks&device=gapps
Rom is nice, it's fast, smooth and feature packed. Only issue I have so far is that neither my home or power key wakes my device. Only way I can wake it is via unplugging/plugging my charger
Edit: So used to flashing cm roms that i installed agni on impulse lol. Will try without it now
Edit 2: Yep it was the kernel. if anyone needs agni install the smdk4x12 version :good:

RRO is just the theme engine I believe. This rom is based on Slim, plus a few goodies. It might have what you're looking for somewhere in settings. You could always go into settings and use the search feature to see what you get

I suppose I didn't say I already did search for profiles...

I don't see it in your last post lol but if you can't find them maybe they're not implemented in this rom

I know.. I didn't say I had. lol...my bad..tried profiles and there's ...i think users and profiles that appear , but when you go there, it's just users, not profiles. Ah well.

My bad lol I'm reading things wrong. But yeah AFAIK Slim has never had profiles

So there's one thing that's bugging me about both this and Orion and is the only thing keeping me from using this daily: I don't have an ac adapter for my phone so I use either agni or shift kernel to increase the usb charge level. The problem is that even though I can see that the setting sticks and it's supposed to use that charge level, it doesn't, and this is on both shift and agni. It will start to charge at the 1000 mA I set it to then decrease to 100 mA. I wanted to say it may be my charger or a hardware prob but it doesn't do this on other roms; I use mostly wilson3q's CM for example and it charges consistently at 1000 mA. I also tried using my dad's Note 3 ac adapter and the charge speed also decreases from about 2 amps to 600 mA. If anyone else experiences this and/or could help me find a solution or cause I'd appreciate it :good:
new build is running, need test. i added kernel shift into this build.
P.S : i just removed shift kernel. it is not good when i added into build.
