How did u brick ur fone?
1)Can u go to the download mode? Vol down + menu + power
2) Is kies installed on your laptop ? OR are the Samsung drivers installed?
If not get kies Odin will then work!

u sure youre going into download mode? try this combo, VOL UP + VOL DOWN + Power, works for me every time
when ur phone is in download mode, connect it to your PC, then your Windows Operating System should download the Samsung USB Drivers for you.
When its done, Start Odin in Admin Mode, wait for it to detect your phone, then choose your PDA, Modem and CSC, then press Start.
Works for me everytime when i brick my ace.
i flash the rom with cwm. but i already do all backup but still stuck on samsung logo screen... but i feel confused was why the cwm have to install everytime when in recovery ?

Have you tried getting into download mode by removing the battery, hold in (power) and (volume up) and (volume down) buttons then insert the battery? Are you logged in as "administrator" when you try to run odin? I've recovered my s5830-i using odin v1.85 on windows XP, SP3 logged in as administrator. After flashing 3 firmware files: PDA, PHONE, CSC my phone was in a usable state. I then restored from a nandroid backup to finish the recovery process.
I also used windows 7 and odin3 1.85 works fine,bricked my phone many times already.So,did you download samsung driver because windows can't download it for you.Well,I used this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1552792 and it's worked.If it doesn't helped you maybe you can send it to service center and act noob if your warranty still *valid*

Yes get the latest firmware for your region from Samfirmware site flash via odin.
After that you can root again. Please follow the instructions given by developer.

else download full DLI5
Yes u can jump from DLI2 TO DLI5 Flash the the ota file through Odin and reboot and ur good to go

He could flash firmware with Mobile Odin Pro on the phone ?
Just download LI5 from sammobile and flash with Mobile Odin Pro from your phone. See item 2 where to get the firmware.

hello guys i have a big problem with my Galaxy Ace S5830i. (sorry for my bad english, i'm german)
I use the Jelly Blast 4.1 CR for my device and I saw a buttom in the settings menue , it was the Touchscreen update buttom .
I just klicked on this buttom and SUDDENLY! the update was failed -.-
i wanted to get back by pressing the backward buttom but there wasnt any reaction.
i've flashed my phone again and installed the JB blast again.
I've tried to put up the stockrom but it still wont work.
can you help me please? i need my smartphone

ahh ok.. first of all... it is not jellyblast ...its just a flashable theme...
now why don't you try to flash stock firmware through odin..and see if the problem persist...

I flashed my phone with Odin and at first it stucked at the samsung logo and didnt reboot.
so i must unbrick it first. after unbricking i rebooted it but it still wont work.

For this theme you need a deodexed rom. You can try to fix by flashing via ODIN.

I've already flashed it with odin with the stock rom but the touchscreen wont react again.

it seems you have soft bricked your 5830I
just follow the unbrick tutorial and flash stock firmware using odin 3.07

make sure you are using right key combination
recovery: vol up + home button + power button
download mode: vol up + vol down + power button
hold the combination for 10 seconds
if still it doesn't open then
remove battery..
wait for 15-20 minutes..
don't insert battery..
press the combination for download mode..
hold it for 3-4 seconds and insert the battery..
it should work

try flashing single pack firmware..
don't split it...
just flash the downloaded firmware (.md5)
put it in pda section...
and use pit file..
may be your splited files are corrupted..not sure why it failed..

i was on latest firmware.. and i could flash cwm with odin.. and then root by flashing su binary very easily.. you must be doing something wrong somewhere..
In my case,
When I connect my phone to pc in odin mode and click on start in odin, it stuck on downloading at the end

i dont know about that.. but here is what i did...
downloaded.. odin, samsung usb drivers, adb, cwm.tar.md5, fix recovery.zip, su.zip
install samsung usb drivers and adb
put su.zip and fix recovery.zip in external sdcard..
enabled usb debugging in developer options .. connect usb..
open cmd and typed.. "adb reboot recovery"
phone rebooted and an android robo was showing.. pulled the cable then battery out.. waited 10 secs.. put battery..
boot in odin mode.. connected usb to pc
opened odin.. select tar.md5 file.. click start.. waited.. finished..phone auto rebooted to cwm..
mounted system in cwm.. installed su.zip and fix recovery.zip.. rebooted..
Now i have root + permanent cwm..
