[Q] Cant boot into recovery mode - Sony Tablet S

I have a Sony Tablet S. I just finished rooting it. But now, no matter what i do , i cant boot into recovery mode.
I tried CWM, i tried recovery installer, i tried anything else.. is there something that prevents me to boot into recovery mode?
When i press vol + and power i see the sony logo then the tablet turns off.

My guess is you are pressing on the POWER button too long, which will cause the tablet to power on, show the SONY logo, then power off. Try continuously pressing the VOL+ button and momentarily pressing the POWER button. Release the VOL+ button when you see the RECOVERY MODE screen.

The Sony Tablet S is not listed as a compatible product at the ClockworkMod ROM Manager web site. The Sony Tablet P and Xperia Tablet S are also not listed as compatible products.

Press Vol+ and Power until the SONY Logo appears and then release only the Power Button while still pressing Vol+.
Worked for me on my Xperia Tablet S.
It's rooted, but I didn't yet install any recovery. It gives me the standard recovery screen.

How do I reboot my Xperia U in recovery mode?
Someone says, I have to press the Vol+ button repeadly while booting, another one says the Vol- button and powerup button, but nothing worked.
I used boot in recovery in the ROM manager, but my phone booted normally.

To boot the Sony Xperia Tablet S into Recovery Mode:

Enter menu Recovery Xperia Tablet S SGPT121US
is complicated to enter the recovery menu on this tablet, after trying and trying to achieve in, the combination is: Volume + (hold it down forever) press power ... when you turn it loose screen when sony logo appears (this is fast) press again and holding down ... if you've done well ... sony logo disappears and leaves as distorted, loose then you press power and repeatedly! Now you should see the recovery menu
No what is the method to enter this menu ... but I do so is that
I had the same problem... after i got root and downloaded various applications, and modify built.prop to make it compatible with some games, I put the original built.prop, then i reset and after that SONY logo disappeared, the screen stayed gray ... I entered the recovery menu, load a update from SD card (the firmewares I got are txs03)
I can not update!!! if somebody can help me.. please, let me know

First of all DO NOT FACTORY RESET.
Do you have rescue-backdoor?
Do you have root?
Do you have adb shell access while it is on the 'grey screen'?
If you answer yes then maybe I can help....
BTW I assume you did not set the permissions correctly for build.prop (chmod 644 /system/build.prop)? Or it is not named correctly? This would cause the non boot. If you have NOT FACTORY RESET then you can use 'ls -l /system' to check if you have 'build.prop' and that will tell you if the permissions are correct. rw-r--r--

ADB reboot recovery doesn't boot recovery mode

Hi, I'm trying to get root access to my phone, and have installed ADB and everything, and it's all working, but when i try and boot my phone in recovery it just reboots it normally.
That command doesn't work for every phone. Is it an LG?
No it's a sony xperia z3 compact
Have you tried the common android vol+ (sometimes vol-) and pwr buttons combination to get into the boot menu that lets you choose recovery?

Xperia z2 stuck in sony logo!!!

hey guys i did somethign wrong obviously i flashed a rom (my bad) while i was on an another rom and now my Phone stucked in Sony logo .
i tried to press volume down button to go into recovery but it doenst work.! what should i do?? i can only turn off phone with Power button + Holding Volume Up button ! i connect my phone with this procedure on xperia companion and now i am repairing software!
is this the only solution or i can get to recovery with another method and just restore my Previous rom backup?
If you have an unlocked BL, flash a custom stock-based kernel and use its recovery to restore your backup.
You can also use flashtool. Sony Companion isn't a bad way to restore device though, used this a couple of times myself.

to enter in fastboot don't touch the "Power" juste hold volume up and plug your sony
Tried that too but not working. No blue light
Solved.....by reinstalling drivers and some magic. Don't know what.
