[Q] anyway to get the stock launcher to be WP7 ? - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

When I install the WP7 launcher on my phone it eats min. 20 more mb of ram.
Is there any way to make it as STOCK for the rom and not have it to take additional ram ?

Making it a system app or user app won't change how much RAM it uses.

It will still consume the same amount of RAM. WP7 Launcher is a pile of horrible code that leaks mem and even the developers can't do much about that now.

I think the lightest launcher is FTL Launcher. And you're saying the Launcher 7 is using 20 MB of Ram; The Stock one uses about 50 MB.
And you asked about both being there will use more RAM: unless you don't set the WP7 one as default, no. The Xperia Home won't even start.

First, I wish a better multitasking. The iOS multitasking is better solved. I hope Google will develop a simply and fast way to switch between the running apps.

Hi,
iOS... What is it ?
Personnaly I know nothing other than the Android multitasking... , when I googled "iOS multitasking" there is nothing relevant... :victory: :silly::fingers-crossed:
In any case your post had nothing related to do with the OP (Note 2 multitasking windows about SIII port, not a general thread about multitasking on Android VS I*****)... If you want to talk about multitasking there are another threads

IOS doesn't multitask. Simple as that.
To switch between running apps keep the home button pressed to see the task manager.

OT: nodstuff, you still have your Galaxy Nexus? (no, no sorry for the OT since this topic is destined to die :silly:).

[REQ][SXS] Notification bar like in tablets

Hello please can anyone port the notification bar from this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1947189 to xperia S ?
This is about what i'm talking : https://plus.google.com/photos/113526337195824316980/albums/5807427313101725729
That is a Xperia S ROM... Anyway, just change your build.prop DPI from 320 to 192. Know that some apps (mostly Sony ones) won't work properly.
Or else try PA.
"What really matters in this world, anyway?"
my BL is locked i can't install PA :/ (We are talking about Paranormal Android aren't we ? )
and okay, i'll try this, but will i get the notification bar like on the screenshots ?

7mb for rounded corners... If I remember correctly, the computer used in Space Shuttle had 1MB of RAM....

The music has a new layout, BT has a slightly different dialler.

Darn, where 1024 I think.. where really small..
Small? That would mean you have a 1024 system and the apps are 800 I think?
Can you post a screenshot please, even if it is small? Would like a quick look and if better; might entice me to reinstall a later ROM which Ive been planning but too lazy to do

Yup, you would think.. I have 800x480.. 1024 is smaller pixels. So it tries to fit.
I mistakenly thought I had a 1024 before and install the wrong rom.. It was expanded. Here was the opposite.
I will find the file and install it. It takes it an update, if it does not work, you can roll back
Yup, they are 1024. I used zip to open and look into the files..
I m sure at one point the apps fitted both resolutions.
