Hey Peeps i really got a bad problem with my sgs2g idk why but my sound keeps crackin and something noise like when i listen to my mp3s over my headphone is this normal ? becouse the crack really sounds bad eq and dsp all turned off problem runs with power amp and normal player.
I USE 4.1.1 Jelly Bean i really go crazy becouse i cant listen to a track with many bass without the crack starting in the back.
can somebody tell me if maybe Service Menu turn up the Headphone Jack DB helps ? thx alot
would be nice if somebody have any idea why this cracking and noising happen at all , it really goes bad when i go at full blast sound idk why EQ is off

i am running BAMF forever 1.10 . and everything is great except there seems to be a crackle and to much gain .....i will explain my vol is 3/4 up maybe a little less , and when someone is speaking to me it kinda crackles a little . i have to keep my vol 1/2 or lower to stop the noise also it sounds like the pre amp / gain? is to high by just a few Dbs because i can hear .....hard to explain..... OK you know when you have your radio on (home entertainment type) and nothing playing through it ... and you turn it up you can hear a noise kind of the same noise i hearing on my phone ... is this a bug ?? who knows ....is there any apps or anything i can do to lessen that sound by trying to turn the phones pre amp down ..and is it possible ?? any help would be great thanks. oh and yes im sure my speaker is good phone is only 7 days old and it was fine all the way through the vol on the stock rom! thanks again....

I hate the call volume, I can barely hear people. On the Mini it was supreme! Anyone find the same? Anything we can do about it?

Yeah it's pretty bad on the Xperia U as well, I just moved from a Sony Ericsson Elm and that had fantastic voice clarity and volume, the U is horrendous in comparison.
Ah ha, I'm not alone lol. Honestly you do wonder if you play your music too loud...
I think I seen in one of the custom roms something about volume, higher volume perhaps?
I don't know why it would be lower in our phones than our previous ones, loud music I can understand, a loud phone call ...? If someone puts their phone on speaker while talking to me, now I can't hear them at ALL

hi all, my ZU is new, have it a week ago and im love with it but today i notice a strange noise on the speaker on top, the one used to listen in call people!! is a type of static noise, nothing i can listen when i have in my hands but when i put it in my ear i listen!! and that noise only appear when device is locked with screen off, and with no in call. i want to know if anyone notice that in our device?! i cant say if its normal or my devide have a problem!! help plz, sorry for my bad english!
Isnt the volume too high?
Perhaps there is something in "settings>call settings" that may be causing issue. I Read somewhere of someone who turned off both 'Microphone Noise Suppression' and 'Speaker Voice Enhancement' which cleared up sound issues with the ear speaker.

I know what you are talking about .... It does not come only from earspeaker ... but from the whole top side. It can be heard only when you put the phone close to your ear. But it is annoying during the call.
I think it is badly shielded antenna. The sound it makes sounds the same like interference fom 3G/WiFi/Bluetooth in this video (but less noisy) ... watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKP5KmPRvHQ
I have the same problem as other guys on that czechoslovakian forum http://forum.xperia.cz/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=14223 ... they bought their phone in the same store like me

Finnaly someone who know what im talking about, in the video you have posted, the sound i have on speaker of call's is the first noise in that video, but more and more lower not too loud than in video, i cant ear much of it but is the same!
But already see other people have the same "issue" and say is not an issue...so thanks for the reply!
Hi guys, i bought this smartphone about 2 week ago, and when i put low volume on a video or a song on every app like youtube soundcloud ecc,the sound is really strange and poor that i can barely listen to it, ive tried with 2 different pair of headphone and i have the same effect, same for the speaker of the phone. I can avoid this problem by putting the volume almost at max but this is really annoying, i have to listen to all sound to max volume really bad for my ears. i didnt do a wipe but i hope that i can resolve this problem without doing it. Hope you can help me guys.
PS: my english is really bad, sorry for that.
