but sir when i try to do that odin stucks on hidden.img and flash fails

What are you trying to flash? As far as I know you can't flash hidden.img with odin. You could use heimdal. And the difference between gt-i9100 and gt-i9100p is that the p version has a nfc chip.

You can but if you're Stuck... Thats cos of faulty Cable...
I think you'll lost your NFC Features if you flash i9100 FW

Hit Thanks & It will Disappear

the 'eMMc brick bug' exsists only with stock android v4.0.4 firmwares that to with their kernels ma8. Your safe with v4.0.3 though, hence u can flash v4.0.3 without any issue of 'eMMc brick bug' for sure

Kernel Version 2.6.35.7-g7b57e17-dirty-Lucifr_1.60uv-200Mhz
Flash your stock 2.3.6 xwlc2 stock rom simply via odin. Or if u want a faster method, just go to privacy and hit factory reset. It will be as good as new. Backup your data before doing it though as you will loose data.
Thank if i helped mate. Hf

Basically yes, any version. I would pick either XWLPT or XXLQB. Just be careful with 4.0.4 ROM if you have insane chip as you can brick your phone when performing certain operations. Its advised to flash another secure kernel.

You might try to uninstall KIES, reboot PC, and the reinstall KIES again.
Sometimes it behaves weird because it's crappy stuff IMHO :cyclops:
I have already done that but it still says the same thing

CSC must be seen by Kies. Check what version it see in () at the and of the line with current firmware version information.
If it is (XXX) than it is unknown. U must know that current firmware must match to any stock firmware 'composition' (correct PDA, CSC and PHONE). You also must have stock kernel installed.

There's lots of guides on rooting you should always search first.
One thing: downgrade to 4.0.3 before doing anything.

Thank your for your reply.
yes i found a lot off guides for different version for android that's why i am confused.
1. can you please suggest me a detailled one for my version:
GT-I9100
4.0.4
I9100XXlQ6
3.0.15-1060868
[email protected]#3
IMM76D.JPLPJ
2. how can i downgrade to 4.0.3
Download 4.0.3 from sammobile and flash through Odin. Then flash Siyah or Dorimanx kernel.
Sent from my potato running a potato.
You should spend a bit of time researching before you attempt anything. If you dont then youll be back on here whingeing about bootloop or Odin doesnt work....or bricked.
What is the point of telling you to flash a rooted kernel via Odin if youve not read the tutorials.
Or root, then flash a safe kernel using stock recovery>cwm.
And at the moment you are on firmware that could lead to a bricked phone if you do the wrong thing.
