its a bad practice in the first place to bump ur post and also creating new threads for each of ur issues ma8 if some body reports to the moderators u will have an 'Infraction' for spamming the board.
so do please edit ur original thread for all ur issues
and anything partained to Themes or apps posted in the 'Themes and apps' section would yield better results for u

Whilst a minor amount of off-topic posting may be overlooked, the general rule is your posts / threads must be relevant to the Forum / thread in which you are posting.
General Forums - For news and announcements pertaining to your device.
Q&A Forums - For all question threads / posts. If there is no Q&A forum use the device General Forum
Accessories subforum - For posts related to accessories relevant to the phone model
Development Forums (ones with the word development in the title)- For developers to post release threads e.g. ROMs, Kernels, and mods.

how can you be so sure that something is not possible?

I'm using Android 2 years on 4 phones (LG GT540 > Samsung Galaxy Ace > Samsung Galaxy S Plus > Samsung Galaxy SII)
And it's not possible because none of launchers have this option.

if it not possible, you should say its not possible, because of software\hardware limitations!!!!
then it is possible, because they don't have it yet
i need to start learning java, and make a hybrid live wallpaper or a live wallpaper that can "host" another
i just wanted to know if someone made something close to this

It's not possible because of software limitation. Better?

It is possible! You should just program a live wallpaper that can tell what screen your on or have to option to set how many screen you have and which one is the home screen. That way when its positioned properly it goes live, and changes to static when its on another page.
On my note 3 I'm stock 4.3 rooted and xposed. My wallpaper is static but my last live wallpaper was the weather grass. Every time I turn my screen on it shows the old live wallpaper then fades to the new static one. I don't know if it's a glitch of milauncher or what but ever since this started I've been afraid to change it cuz it's so dang awesome looking!
Here is the rain animation, then it switches to my wallpaper.

[Done][Moved to general themes section]official ->Grayscale ICS cm7 theme

Whit BIG THANKS to sonny sekhon, the creator of the original ICS, and to Bstin, and last but not least, ljbaumer for his contribution, and everyone who tested, specially bataya for testing and giving valuable feedback, we have an official ICS theme for cm7 with only gray, and a white version too over here . You can download the latest version right from the 1st post.
Thanks again guys! Without any of you who viewed this thread, and voted, this thread would have probably finished berried in this forum...

screenshots for...? anywayz, here are some screenshots i took, in which you can see the blue lines/text/icons i would love to see in gray...
again, the only reason i'm asking this is because i love how sonny made this theme, the only thing that i would change is the blue. As you can clearly see, i like my phone pretty much in monochrome.

and to be more exact, i would primarily (but having it all in gray would rock!) change the status bar/dropdown menu color. Those are the ones that don't go well with what i want. I wouldn't change anything but the color! the rest is perfect!.
I give up
Spent 2 hours modifying all the icons to grayscale just to realize that i didn't have to change all of them, now the tab lock looks like the unlocked tab button and so on...and the "best" thing is that after following some tutorial i found on google, and saving png's in 8-bit format with "save for web-optimized" they got smaller...and i still haven't found that "ics color" line in the xmls i have to change to 808080...
Anywayz, the original zipped apk is still attached, if anyone still wants to help...just say so and tell me what i have to do...
a, and how come no1 ever thought of this before? nobody likes the idea? again, the only theme i could find searching the market and the internet close to what i want is the vanilla stock by team syndicate, and that's....white...too white, not gray...

I don't have transparent background in neither the original theme by sonny sekhon, nor in the final gray one. Anywayz, you could try asking sonny. And what version are you using? the original one? the white one? or the gray one? And...aren't you using achep's theme? i think so...cause that one has the transparency option/version. Anywayz, best of luck to ya! and see you over at the general themes section, in the official thread for the white&gray ICS themes for any other questions/request. The link is in the op post.

Will someone plz teach me how to "hardcode" hubs into my wallpaper using Photoshop?

Will someone plz teach me how to "hardcode" hubs into my wallpaper using Photoshop?
The amount of resources I could save by not having to use 6x6 Minimalistic Text widgets is just sooo enticing. However, I haven't the slightest clue about how to make sure my tiles/hubs are positioned exactly right given the fact I adjust how many columns & rows my homescreen has.
Anyone who could help me out with a nice, detailed tutorial would get several thanks on my part. In addition to maybe a small ($5~) paypal donation of the guide is quality and/or could be posted here for others to use.
Thanks in advance!
P.S. Sorry for the "plz" in the title. It was required to shorten the amount of characters so it could all fit.

But how can you be so sure? The Heisenberg uncertainty principle states that you cannot know a particle's location and movement at the same time. Therefore, if you observe this thread here, that means you cannot know the exactly where this thread is heading so therefore you cannot predict whether this thread will arrive in Q&A or not. However, if you were to not observe where this thread was, then you might conclude that it was in Q&A or that it at least should be. However, that leads us to the problem of Schrodinger's cat which states that when an object has two possible states, if it is not observed, it is in both states at once. Therefore, if you were only to observe this thread's existence, you would not be able to obtain the information regarding the location of the thread so, therefore, it would be in Q&A and in Themes and Apps at the same time. However, the scientific law of Parsimony, also known as Occam's razor, states that the simplest solution is most likely the truth. Therefore, applying Occam's razor to the dilemma of where this thread occurs, it can be concluded that this thread, is, in fact, in the Q&A section.

Hardcode buttons w/ photoshop?
I am working on doing this in my free time so its not finished. Firstly, I am using Multi Picture Live wall paper, so I would make 5 pictures to be backgrounds, one for each screen. Set those as your backgrounds first, to offset any placement issues with your rom/wallpaper orientation. Take screenshots of each, no icons or widgets, just empty screen. This is so you can line up your final work onto the original picture to get the exact placement. Next, use Simple Text to create boxes.. fill the color, take more screen shots, use layers in Photoshop to select where the button will be and edit these boxes as you see fit.. finally once you create the image that will be the background, use Simple Text to create transparent "buttons" or widgets and place them over the buttons that are in the background image. I am using ADW so the placement is pretty easy with the stretch icon/force fit/overlap options.
Hope this helps, its a good question and opens up a lot more options for personalizing your device. I have gone as far as to incorporate some of my widgets into the background setting the widget's transparency 100% knowing ahead of time what will be on top of an area and work with that in Photoshop.
Best of luck!

resize backgrounds you want to fit into the template
overlay hubs into pictures
save pictures into prime and set as backgrounds
place invisible buttons over background in apropriate spots

Why even take the time? 90% of the posts in this thread are in response to your unnecessary and irrelevant question. At least you won't go hungry, cause apparently the troll has been well fed... It's in the development section because guess where all the work on the new ICS roms is going on (Including how to access all the settings and what not that folks would want to get to)...? That's right! The development section. He also included some info for how developers can get these settings to show up without any extra trickery, thereby HELPING development... In summation, enjoy the meal you've had in this thread and get back under your bridge... If you want to avoid being roasted like this in the future, do as others have suggested. I created a template that matches the selection you're shown when you select an image from the gallery and choose to make it the wallpaper.
Resolution should be 3966x2560 for it to work full in landscape and portrait without showing any black bars.
I'll be uploading some of my wallpapers once I've had a chance to find some decent source material at this resolution.

Using bettery battery stats. Shows mediaserver and cubes vs spheres as 2 big offenders.
Will freeze smart alarm clock as well.
Edit: can't find any smart alarm clock. Only 2 clock apps showing with titanium.

I remember it's not named how you would think it's named. Is that widget in your app drawer? The rom I'm on now doesn't have it...

Thanks, I know the forum rules. I also know half the threads in general such as the one on Contacts+ don't belong there.
But how many users actually use the Q&A forum? I've been here longer than Q&A sections exist and believe it to be a useless subforum, because most people don't visit it.
Thanks for the replies.
After further investigation through better battery stats, I found SDM_Partial_wakelock to be dominating my partial wakelocks with 4.5 hours of time of the 5 hours my phone has been off charger. I froze the SDM app. Its apparently some sort of security app. I'm going to research further. I'd post a warning about it in the general section, but it would probably get moved...

Sdm is the app responsible for OTA updates. It's a good idea to have it frozen anyways if you're rooted

I'll talk to Scott about it. It shouldn't be in there if that's what it is.
Edit: I didn't do a data wipe before flashing since the phone was brand new. Might have been left over from Stock ROM, though considering its a system app, it shouldn't have stayed. Interesting.
I found that the Google Location Services will usually cause the phone to never turn off its Wifi. If you go under Settings --> Location services, try unchecking Google Location Services. The other two (vzm and gps) generally do not cause this issue.

I haven't noticed this. I turned on google location this morning and wifi didn't turn on until I manually turned it on this afternoon.
