Can anyone kindly explain what the volume settings mean? It makes no sense to an average user like me by looking at them. Thanks in advance!

U hav to hit and trail to check them.. They just enhance the effects of sound throughout the system.. AND ask the mod to delete this thread..

In MIRACLE V4 [04.05.12] [Blackhawk OC Kernel] by itasoulas the call gets hung up if i press the power button during call. How can this be disabled?

looks like the Key Code config is some kind of strange.
Some stock kernarls are like that, you just gotta learn how to deal with it -.-

1) This is not a stock kernal. It is a CM7.2 based ROM.
2)stock rom had an option to enable & disable it.
3) Dont want to consider flashing another ROM just because of this issue coz this is really good.

lol.. using another kernal may slove this problem but loads of other issues will crop up..
This ROM is really smooth & looks good. Only a minor patch may be required to solve this issue.

well in order to post in the custom rom section u need to reach the minimum 10 posts as per XDA rules if i am right

I kinda like it for its difference for tablet ui and pixel-density-per-app features
just one question, how can i assign a ringtone to a contact?
it seems like any question related to this "assign ringtone in Paranoid Android" left unanswered ever since the 1st version.

paranoid rom uses CM9 as a base
So this means that you will have to find out how to add ringtones to a contact in cm9
You could ask in CM9 thread.
I am using sammy rom now so i cant help you. Sorry

i use a Ringo Lite app from Google Play. thanks a lot! sorry again.
I think there is a option for that in the people.apk when you edit a contact I can check and see
Edit: If you choose your contact and open it as normal so you see all the phone numbers and so on, press the menu button and there is an option there called "Set Ringtone" no need for a third party app

Sorry if I shouldn't be posting this question here but I am still working on getting up to 10 posts and I am curious if there are mods/apks available for my phone which is running Alliance ROM v5.1 (XXLSJ) for the following:
-change theme/colors of incoming/outgoing calls
-change status bar wifi/alarm/vibration icons
-install Touchwiz 3D gallery (from Note 2 I believe)
-change theme/colors of camera app

This was a rule introduced about a year or so back for new members to stop them from flooding the dev topics with crap without even doing the most basic searches.

yeah, sorry its cause patch battery,,, so you can push again framework.jar from rom zip..
or you can re-flash rom.
