So has anyone figured out what's going on with the status bar and dropdown notification on gingerbread? Seems that any framework-res.apk changes don't take after pushing the apk back through adb. Id like to see black item backgrounds and white text to go along with the GB look.

THX! dude....but I want a transparent status bar too.........maybe if someone can get that theme and modificate the status bar color to a full transparent one.
Is there a way to Get the htc status bar??? Or can someone make it?

What ROM are you on?
You can customize it your way, try metamorph or ninjamorph replace StatusBar indicator files with HTC sense style icons.
Hey I love Nova themes and changing the look of my phone... I am just wondering what theme packs others are using...
preferably if you can state the name or link to it (especially if its a large encompassing one!)

The status bar is just settings in the ROM, it was probably an old version of Beanstalk. The 4.4 Beanstalk still has it.
